I'm no tech guy, but to my ears, the Fifine K-678 has the warmest, richest, juiciest sound. (Perfect for my voice.) It does pick up background noise, so that's a little tough. The Fifine T-669 probably has the next best sound. Not nearly as buttery as the K-678, but the most "balanced" out of the remaining mics. The Maono is definitely not on the same level, but it's still pretty good. I do hear background noise as well as a strange "resonance." I can't tell if that's feedback or something else. Not sure what to make of that. Surprisingly, though the Neewer NW-7000 has a very high, "tinny" sound and lacks pickup for low tones, I actually prefer it to the Tonor TC-777. Overall, the Neewer represents the voice more faithfully than the Tonor. The Tonor TC-777 makes the voice sound less human, as if one is speaking through a filter, similar to what happens when making sounds through tissue paper. It picks up low tones better than the Neewer, but it "distorts" or "transforms" the voice in a way that I don't think is pleasant. So... the winner, from the options in this group, would hands down be the hot, sultry Fifine K-678, with the nicely balanced T-699 coming in at a slightly distant second.

Hi there, sorry for catching sight of your comment late. It's not a difficult decision because it mainly depends on your application. Hello people the internet, After watching this video both the Fifine t660 and the Moano AU PM421 intrigued me. But I have heard certain bad reviews on the Finfine one. But most people like it. Which one should I buy?
Hi, I’m a little late on this video 😅 I just have a question. Specifically in the moano or the cheaper fifine, can it work on a console such as PlayStation? Also, will it work on a computer? (Specifically chrome book) thanks man, I appreciate it. Great vid!
K678 works on PS4/PS5. But the downside is that if you plug the headset into controller, PS4 input and output will change to controller automatically. Thus, You are supposed to split the microphone feature from headset with a 3.5mm Female to 2 Male adapter, or simply use the earbuds which has two loops on its connector, then you're good to go. As for the second question, the K678 will work on a chrome book.
The polar pattern of t678 is not suitable for ASMR. I recommend you to check out the k690, which supports stereo and omnidirectional which are more ideal for ASMR.
Hi, thank you very much for this helpful video, i'd like to ask you something, how did you get rid of fifine k678's self noise? The recording from it in this video js so clear!!! I wish mine could sound like yours...
I am very new to mics. Is there any special hardware or software to achieve the sounds that you can hear in this video. Or is it simply plug in the usb and you get that quality?

You can take the stand off and hook it to the boom arm stand coming with the 3/8'' to 5/8'' adapter. And you can easily find the suitable boom arm on Amazon.
Actually it is a hugely personal decision. But if you want a conparison between T669 and K678, then the K678 with a boom arm should be better for singing. K678 is High & low ends sensitive and it is equipped with the mute button and headphone jack. Highly recommended.
Generally speaking, it won't pick up a lot background noise due to the cardioid pick-up pattern. But if unfortunately you still get some noise, please follow the instructions below. Set the volume dial below 50% if you're in a noisy room and the noise cant get rid of, such as the sound from fans or air-condition. Next, set computer input at around 80%. At last, the speaking range is another aspect that makes the great difference. Keep the mic 3-5 inches away from mouth, the closer the better.
@@par.official Hi Par Music, it works, but if your main purpose is to have a mic for mobiles, then it won't work perfectly as you may expect. You need to look for a mic that is dedicated to mobile.
You also have to remember you all are going to be using compressors, limiters, noise gate and eq's. I have the neewer 7000 and its decent when you have filters on it.
Excellent review! Thank you! As far as AT2020 go, which some people mention for singing and podcasting, where would it be compared to the ones you mentioned? I am deciding on an affordable option for podcasting, singing, ASMR and general youtube recording like tutorials and reviews. The only thing for my wellness vlog I'd prefer not to see the mic in the frame. Am I right to understand that you need to be close to all of them to get good sound?
If you need the multiple pick-up patterns from K690, then you should go for the K690. If not, we will recommend the T683 for you. There are two reasons that we recommend buying T683 instead of Maono PM421. First of all, except the functional buttons PM421 provided, T683 is equipped with 3.5mm headphone jack which allows to monitor your sound, though the price is the same. Secondly, T683 comes with a Type-C connector, which means no adapter is needed to use the usb microphone for computer that has only Type C port. Purchasing the adapter will take much more hard-earned money and may get the sound quality drop down.
@@keybud_jlm hi, where did you got it for this price ? And does it work well with a phone ? Can you monitor the sound of your phone/tablet through the microphone headphone jack ?

T670 is the microphone K670 with a number of accessories. But the better microphone differs depending on your main purpose. If your main use is for recording, the zero-latency monitoring helps you a lot, then the T670 is better. But if you only use the microphone for gaming/conference, the T669 can definitely serve your need.
If noise is your first concern, then, to be honest, none of those condenser mics can guarantee a noise-free performance. If you just want much less noise and don't mind a bit of muddy and bassy voice, then the dynamic microphones are a much better choice for noise rejection.
Yes. You can connect the K678 to your Android phone with the suitable adapter. But you can only hear playback after you unplug the mic. Even if your phone has a headphone jack, the mic and headphone will still not work at the same time.
Hi there. We don't know which model of maono you're talking about so that we can't made the thorough comparison. But overall, maono is biased towards mid-bass, FIFINE Microphone is biased towards high frequencies. If your main use is singing, the K678 will be recommended! With the low-latency headphone jack, you won't run into problem when singing and you are able to hear yourself in real time. If budget allow, maybe you can try ordering both of them. Then all you have to do is return one of them later.

All mics work in that scenario, coz you can always gain them down on your recording software to get less noise. Always better to gain down than up. If you don't want the audio clipped, try using some kind of compressor/limiter as you're recording. :)

What mic will be best for a hydraulic press channel with AsMr crushing
Hello people the internet, After watching this video both the Fifine t660 and the Moano AU PM421 intrigued me. But I have heard certain bad reviews on the Finfine one. But most people like it. Which one should I buy?
What a great review, you answered all my questions about mics! 👍🏼 🎤
Thank you!!!💜 This video is just what I needed!
Which mic is good for singing?
Which mic should I pick in this list if I were to use it in a podcast?
this ain’t asmr i’m trying to sleep
😂
been using the fifine k678 for awhile now and I use it during online jamming it picks up my voice and guitar quite well if the mic location is right
Which one is better fifine 678 or maono?
Thank you for a thorough review
Big fan bro Love from BANGLADESH 💟💟💟
What one is the best one to use for ASMR?
The polar pattern of t678 is not suitable for ASMR. I recommend you to check out the k690, which supports stereo and omnidirectional which are more ideal for ASMR.
Hi, thank you very much for this helpful video, i'd like to ask you something, how did you get rid of fifine k678's self noise? The recording from it in this video js so clear!!! I wish mine could sound like yours...
I am very new to mics. Is there any special hardware or software to achieve the sounds that you can hear in this video. Or is it simply plug in the usb and you get that quality?
that was just plug in and record. :)
bruv what is the best mic for storytelling??
Thank you in advance

I was considering a Mackie em-91cu, now I'm looking at the Fifine T669B.
Awesome what ones best for asmr
I think you forgot to mention that the Maono has a gain knob, while the Fifine T669 has a volume knob. These two are different
Good point!
Can you tell me the difference?
Volume is how loud the OUTPUT of the channel is. Gain is how loud the INPUT of the channel is. Gain and volume are very similar concepts. If you don't use with a mixer, they are basically the same.

Is there any difference between maono pm422 and maono pm421?
i'll go with Fifine T669 just around 52$.
was looking for exact video.. 😊😊😊
is the maono microphone's gain too quiet for use when its not close to your mouth?
very helpful video. Im looking for an USB microphone because i don't want that hizzzz background noise. If you have any cheaper recommendation it doesn't need to be usb, but i record videos on my laptop
Glad you liked it.
Great demo! Thank you!
My pleasure!
What boom arms do you use? You list all items in description but did not include one of the most crucial accessories 🤦♂️
You can take the stand off and hook it to the boom arm stand coming with the 3/8'' to 5/8'' adapter. And you can easily find the suitable boom arm on Amazon.
what are the microphones used by food asmr? it's like headphones
I have takstar sgc 698 i'm using it on laptop , is it big difference to buy au pm422???
Superb helpful review - well done
This is random but I just want to say I love your accents ❤️
Which microphone is best for singing among them?
Actually it is a hugely personal decision. But if you want a conparison between T669 and K678, then the K678 with a boom arm should be better for singing. K678 is High & low ends sensitive and it is equipped with the mute button and headphone jack. Highly recommended.
@@FIFINE How about K670B and K678? Which one is better for singing?
I'm getting the Fifine K678 It actually did great! how about the noise canceling of that microphone? is it good?
i owned it for a week, it depends on what do you mean. background noise as in hissing? you might need a windscreen
@@FIFINE does T669 work with phone using otg? Please tell
@@par.official Hi Par Music, it works, but if your main purpose is to have a mic for mobiles, then it won't work perfectly as you may expect. You need to look for a mic that is dedicated to mobile.
@@FIFINE And What About K670 (one with 3.5mm monitoring jack)? Does k670 work with phone using otg? Not talking about perfectly but just it supports?
You also have to remember you all are going to be using compressors, limiters, noise gate and eq's. I have the neewer 7000 and its decent when you have filters on it.
Thank you! this was very helpful

The FiFine sounds Fine to me.
You missed out on “ the FiFine sounds fi-FINE to me”
now that Fifine K678 is only $60, does it become the best bang for the buck?
YES
If I could get the fifine k690 for the same price as the maono pm421 which one should I go for? Btw k690 is the big brother of the k678.
@@FIFINE thanks for the information but I already bought the k690 and I enjoy using it for a month now. I also got it for only $57.
@@keybud_jlm hi, where did you got it for this price ? And does it work well with a phone ? Can you monitor the sound of your phone/tablet through the microphone headphone jack ?
@@abderrahmanelhanouni8887 I got it from shopee. It does work with my phone which is galaxy s10e but I haven't tried monitoring it.
The Fifine 678 is highly over-rated...VERY noisy while recording, no matter your settings. If you live near an airport, just forget it. I may go for the Fifine K670b.
I got the fifine t669 to and if im in call i hear from everyone that it sounds kinds bad werr did you change the setting? Becouse yours sound realy nice

Hey what about the T670? i heard that is like a T669 but a little better
@@FIFINE oh wow haha thank you, i already bought the t670 and i'm very happy with it ;)
Great video brother
Which noise cancellation is better?
If noise is your first concern, then, to be honest, none of those condenser mics can guarantee a noise-free performance. If you just want much less noise and don't mind a bit of muddy and bassy voice, then the dynamic microphones are a much better choice for noise rejection.
@@FIFINE it's too late but thnks for your response 👍
@@sovanmaity8969 No problem, hope you enjoy your current microphone.
Thank you for your review. A question though. Can I connect fifine k 678 to my Android phone which has a type c pin on it?
Yes. You can connect the K678 to your Android phone with the suitable adapter. But you can only hear playback after you unplug the mic. Even if your phone has a headphone jack, the mic and headphone will still not work at the same time.
@@FIFINE this is really helpful. Thanks! 😊
so which is better the moano or fifine k678?

How to not get background noise in the fifine mic
hello, very nice video! I do sport voiceover, with a very loud and "sporty" voice (as you can hear in soccer commentary). could the tonor be the right choice since the others seem to be way too sensitive? I mean I really need to speak close to the mic and not getting anything clipped. Also, I need a USB mic to connect to my MacBook pro. If you eventually can suggest to me some products other than the tonor I'd be very thankful. Cheers from Italy!
All mics work in that scenario, coz you can always gain them down on your recording software to get less noise. Always better to gain down than up.
If you don't want the audio clipped, try using some kind of compressor/limiter as you're recording. :)
