in the history of the NFL, he's one of a few QBs that can and will keep both teams in the game. lol
Truth.
True 😂
True asf 😂
Lmao facts
i love jameis like kin, but he’s definitely one to make sure the game stays competitive.
saw him throwing an 8yrd pass 9yrds off the spot in a wide open receiver situation
I saw him do that too. I then saw Tom Brady do it the very next season. They conveniently put those on the WRs. Crazy how that works. "Eye test..."
This guy might have been a good qb but for sure is crazy hilarious let’s eat a w 😂what the heck was that
😂😂😂
As a Florida State alum I'll always remember that 2013 run! He was always entertaining, a bit nutty, great video as always Lauren!
Yep, I remember Crab Legs!
Slight correction regarding the 2019 1st round QBs...
Dwayne Haskins was also drafted in the first round with the 15th pick by Washington.
Yes my bad!!!
Winston was drafted in 2015…
As a Browns fan I fully expect him to start 8 games. I’m both excited and scared of that.
Since you guys, somehow, never had Ryan Fitzpatrick on your team. He's a taller, blacker version of that guy. With less rushing ability.
That would be something to see since I somehow STILL have Browns fans telling me Deshaun is going to roll out his revenge tour any day now
Well as a buccaneers fan let me tell you get ready to okay the game of pick or no pick every possession
As a bucs fan, get ready for the rollercoaster! The highs are so high but the lows are so devastating low. You’re gonna be constantly in suspense and frustrated not knowing what Jameis is going to do next.
@@Hereth_Edits with Baker Mayfield you get everything that Jameis was, with 75 percent less picks. That's why he is both good and underrated. Jameis was right when he said he's was ballin without the picks. He was right. Take 50 percent of his picks away, and he was a pro bowler. But.... he did throw all those picks. And just could not stop.
I've heard a rumor not sure if its true or not, but Jameis was offered to stay with the Bucs to backup Tom Brady, but declined.
Other way around from what I remember. He was willing to stay in Tampa behind Brady but Tampa didn't want him back because they already had Gabbert and Griffin under contract
Can't forget the end of last season when the Saints were just supposed to take a knee, and Winston changed the play without anyone knowing, which made Allen furious and burned every bridge he had with New Orleans
Love your vids bro
@@rKAL-EL Thanks! Really appreciate it
Did Jameis sleep with Dennis Allen’s wife? Allen had such a one-sided beef with him. I have never seen someone more happy to start a washed Carr and an ancient Dalton over a healthy Winston (not to mention he was first in line to throw him under the bus at every opportunity.) Winston might not be regarded as starting QB anymore, but absolutely NOBODY regard Dennis Allen as a head coach.
There’s a clip out there of the old OC just ignoring Jameis last season….
@@SheGotSports Winston gets the Saints to Wild Card if he didn’t tear his ACL. I will stand on that. You could see Allen’s utter disdain of Winston from space. It was like watching Jeff Fisher and Vince Young.
You can stand on whatever you like jameis is standing on the sidelines in Cleveland lol
Because HES TERRIBLE. this idea that Winston is a good qb is a joke
@@robogreek3157 Actually, Jameis might be the litmus test for those that actually know ball. You say he is terrible but in reality, outside of 2019, he has never been rated lower than 16th in terms of QBs. The problem is, and it sounds like you may fall into this category, more people watch stats than they do games. Crap, even in 2019, the Bucs defense and special teams cost them the Giants, Saints, Seahawks, and Falcons game. Again, those small details that comes with watching the games.
No body cared about the bucs running game until Brady came to the bucs.
Facts 💯
I miss old version of Winston this vid was a good one
He gets the Saints to Wild Card if he doesn’t tear his ACL. He loved NOLA, but Dennis Allen just wanted him to rot away on the bench, because for whatever reason, he hated him.
I ran into bro in Dallas a couple years back. Very down to earth guy & funny too. Always rooting for Jameis! 🤟🏽
Winston always comes across as a fun life loving character, I’d love a drink with the dude
He’s steal your lobster and crab though. 😂
Die hard BUC fan here... Please don't remind us of this guy... PTSD is kicking in... 😩
His first pass in the nfl as a BUC, pick 6... His last pass as a BUC, pick 6... I'm not surprised he's currently a backup QB in Cleveland with the clowns, I mean browns... J.Winston is a clown though, and the all time greatest turnover king! 🤦🏽♂️
Die hard Bucs fan but you got PSTD from Winston and not the fact that your defense was trash, you run game was garbage, and yall had the worst special teams in the NFL. What were you looking at? Couldn't have been the games...
@@jahsoul357 We were too busy watching the 106 turnovers over the course of 5 years with the cherry on top being that 38-30 td-int stat line the final year. If you count the pick 6's towards his TD count it would be 45 touchdowns. Our defense was always "trash" because they were always on the field. If you're out there 60-70% of the game of course they're going to suck because they're fucking gassed by then end of the first quarter. Our run game was garbage because we were always playing from behind, can't run when you're playing catch up constantly. Plus the carousel of head coaches didn't help any of the above. Our ownership fucked up during that time pretty good but Jameis didn't do himself any favors either.
@@RoCkR109 Actually, a lot of what you said isn't true and can be easily verified.
-From 2015-2018, the Bucs defense never rated top 10 in drives were normally top 3 in giving up the most points per possession and average time of possession and out of 5 seasons from 2015-2019, there were probably less than 10 games where the Bucs were down more than 1 score in the first quarter
-Your run game was garbage because it was just trash. It had nothing to do with being down because as stated above, there were probably less than 10 games in a 10 year span where the Bucs were down more than a score at the end of the first half.
Truth is, a lot of your fanbase used turnovers as a low hanging fruit but the reality of the situation is more often than not, turnovers weren't why you all lost. Matter of fact, outside of 2019, Winston never had more than 4 games a season with multiple interceptions. On top of that, most season, he was actually average in games with turnovers. The problem is most of your fanbase seemingly never cared about the 75% of the season. Crap, yall still blame him for 2019 when your defense and special teams lost the games against the Giants, Seahawks, Saints, and Falcons. Jameis Winston throw 33TDs and 30 interceptions with the 2020 defense and Succop is winning 12 games.
Lets make sure we add the context that he was a serial sexual predator at FSU and sexually harassed a rideshare driver as well. I'm sure he's a changed man but he basically got away with it.
His mannerisms and swagger I swear he looks like the president of the united states. Every time he's in a suit he looks like he's on the way to his inauguration. I'd vote for him.
I am a Buccaneers fan ! He was hot booty butt cheeks was at the first game that first throw pick 6 I damn near cried. I lost so much money. But we got blessed with Tom !
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
@@mckickz665I’m a Bucs fan and the Bucs as a team was ass.
@@jayels3036 They won the Superbowl the very next year...All of their team leaders were on the team with Winston...Fournette and Gronk weren't even starters for most of the season AB didn't get there until week 9 and they were 6-2 before he came and 5-3 after getting him. The one position I'll give you is Wirfs and that was a lucky homerun that never happens. If you look at the roster the Bucs were starting 19 of 22 starters that played with Winston...
@@eddienash2095 so Bucs winning the Super Bowl without Brady Gronk ab fournette. Plug in any other free agent qb but Brady with friends.
Bucs didn’t defense was trash since before jameis got drafted. No run game. Dif kicker every year.
To solely place blame on Winston for his time there is crazy. Y’all really act like the Bucs were balling every year but jameis held em back lol. If Bucs were so great why they drafted number one anyways.
2019 even with all the ints Bucs would’ve won 2 or 3 more games if Arians didn’t fuck with the kicker.
@@eddienash2095 How many members from the 2019 team scored a point in the Super Bowl? That should tell you all you need to know.
The Bucs won the Super Bowl because of their improved defense, O-line, special teams, and the fact that they modified the offense for Brady because he was struggling in Arians system. People ignore a lot
There is only ONE THING that can be said of Winston.
*Supertalented. But from the outside... looking inside, I always had the feeling he never really took being a Quarterback on the National Football League seriously like Peyton Manning, Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady or Joe Montana.*
I love how Brees isn't mentioned here once again despite being on that tier AND BEING a starter over this man.
Wild.
@@incarnateflame3462 Brees?? The reason he isnt mentioned is because the topic is about talented Quarterbacks, and because Brees was certainly hardworking, but wasnt talented (like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Joe Montana).
1. *There is a reason the Chargers kicked Brees out, got rid of him and then replaced him with Philipp Rivers* (the same way the Bucs kicked out Winston).
2. There is a reason Drew Brees got his Superbowl win (and his only good year) the same year, his team was involved in the illegal "Bounty gate scandal".
3. As the NFL are cowards as always, they didnt have the balls to ban the completely illegal Saints team that entire year, and thats how they won the Superbowl. Dont pretend you forgot that part of history.
I agree which is nothing wrong with he looks at football as a paycheck just wish he cared more for his craft so much potential In JW 💯
Completely agree. Being an NFL QB is a vocation, a divine, spiritual calling and a blessing from God. Unfortunately he didnt take it seriously. He simply didnt understand that there are currently 53 Million men between the ages of 11 and 31 in America, who would dream to have his talent and he decided to waste it.
Whenever I see Jamais, I see a player laughin, jumping, clowning, smiling, gooding and running around like a fool, everything except taking Football seriously. He is CLEARLY talented. Throughout the history of the NFL there have been only 5 players who have thrown more than 5000 yards and more than 30 touchdowns in a season (Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Peyton Manning, Dan Marino and Jamais Winston). So the talent is clearly there. He simply didnt take is seriously.
@@OnyemaechiAmuro hahahaha yeah. That's the dumbest shit I've read in a long time.
This girls got skills ! Well done Ms Gotsports
The national meadi hate Jamies that's why he didn't get the same chance as Baker.
Baker surely got his sht together. Winston is still the doofus he ever was
@@sandrabecht613 Baker was hot stanking trash in 22. He just got another shot, for reasons. And if you actually pull back the layers, the Bucs were better offensively than 2019, even with 30 interceptions. Yall lost more games due to the offense sucking this past season than yall did in 2019. Crazy how narratives work out...
Baker has zero offield issues and is not a turnover machine like winston. Never came close to 30 ints in a year.
Not to mention winston leaves the bucs, they win a superbowl the next year with a new qb. Baker was never on a team that good.
Their situations are not the same
@@topdogalpha Baker isn't a turnover machine? In the only season that Winston lead the league in interceptions, please tell me who was #2? He threw 21 with the same OC that Winston had from 2016-2018.
Also, when Winston left the Bucs, they brought in Gronk, AB, Lenny, Succop, drafted Wirfs and Winfield and with all of that, the Bucs still struggled until they changed the offense for Brady after the bye week.
Their situations aren't the same but your view of it is as off the mark as it could be. As I mentioned, the 2023 Bucs lost more games due to horrible offense than the 2019 team with Winston throwing 30 (anybody that watched the games would know that 16 came 4 games).
Maybe being a sexual predator had something to do with this?
Before the 50/50 relationship topic we had the 50/50 Jameis Winston throws
More like 30/30 relationship #riseup
@@HipHopNerdHarryGusto LOL@Rise Up. The Falcons are the last team that should say anything about Winston. In the history of your franchise, there are probably like only 4 QBs that have play better against yall....and again, this is the entire history of your franchise..lol
Great video, Lauren. The information that you gave about my team former QB was phenomenal imo. 😍
That’s a funny angle !
Dude was a menace in tampa and didn’t focus
Great video Lauren l'm looking forward to football season already
Same here!
@@SheGotSports are you doing a Prediction for the upcoming season for the NFL season this year
As a lifelong Bucs fan, this is what I have to say Jameis’ tenure here: Our Offensive Line and Running game wasn’t anything to lose sleep over. From 2017-2018, our Defense was so bad to where at 1 point in 2018 they were on track to giving up more yards for the season than our 1976 Defense (76 Defense was giving up about 390 yards per game, our 2018 Defense was giving up nearly 400 per game before Mike Smith was fired). To Jameis’ defense, the losing wasn’t all on him. He had some games where he played well but the Defense looked incompetent. When Arians got in, Quarterbacks usually throw more interceptions on average due to Arians’ aggressive style. Towards the end of the 2019 season, our WR Corps was hammered with injuries to where Jameis was throwing to guys who were backups and occasionally practice squad players. He definitely had some moments that were indefensible to where it was straight up infuriating to witness, that being said, the losing from 2017-2019 wasn’t entirely his fault. In the end though, we got Tom Brady from Free Agency and won Super Bowl 55. 👍
Genuinely love your videos ✊🏽
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch!!!!
You originally hooked me with the Wentz video…reeled me in with the RG3 vid…then got a new subscriber with this vid! 😂
Great stuff!! Looking forward to more of your content!
…Also, I can’t wait to see what Saquon does this year in Philly! (Had to get that lil jab in…all in good fun 😉🦅)
Lol same, in the exact same order
Every video she puts out is goated
Keep up the good work
genuinely one of the best sports channels out there😭CRAZY that i’m only now getting recommended these videos
He’s very underrated I just hope he gets to be a starter in the next few years.
Total doofus and dirty player. No one will start him. That´s over
Lmao not happening lmao
@@mckickz665lmao lmao lmao lmao

14:00 If he wasn't a so called black person he would be starting. Go look at Brett Faver career stats especially 2005. long story short, I have a powerful voice. In the community And we all know JW is one of the best. Keep making videos and talking , but no one Will ever believe the lie never ever,,,,,,,,, Again never ever.
And yes manning is the goat.
Another good, very informative video. Thank you.
Hold onto your crab legs everyone
The problem with Winston was lack of consistency. A coach would never know what kind of player would be coming out of the tunnel.
Let's hear it for Matt Gay. Only by missing 3 4th quarter field goals, did Jameis get the chance to go to overtime and throw his 30th interception, for a walk off loss.
You know football...
He is this generations Jake Plummer. Big arm, but tiny brain.
But yet, everyone raves about his football IQ...lol
Bro is a legend and I don’t care what anyone says 😂
It’s new orlinz, that’s how ya say it:)
Great video! I think the injuries were awful for him later on. Maybe Deshawn Watson will get hurt yet again and Jameis will do well. I hope Deshawn doesnt get hurt though. You know what i mean.
Ohio State won the national championship in 2015. They beat the snot out of Oregon
I’m sorry but when his first pass in the nfl was a pick six I just had a feeling he was gonna be a bust in the future
Yet, a team that won 2 games before won 6 and then 9 the next season. Looks like you should have looked at more games..
This is where James becomes his most hated player in history 😂
He was the hero of fantasy football in “that” year. Just have Jameis as your QB and whoever they played as defense of week was a winning play.
Really digging these deep dive style videos, Lauren!
Idc what anyone says, Jameis was a walking meme and always cracked me up like the crab leg incident and the infamous "Eat a W" speech while losing the same game and all lol.
God loves us all so much that he gave his perfect son to die for our sins and raised him from the grave to defeat death. Through faith in JESUS we can be saved and reconciled to GOD. please repent🙏
Dwayne Haskins also drafted in the 1st round in 2019
turnovers are what KILL teams, he deserved to be stuck on the bench. He needs to prove himself consistently or his prior stats mean absolutely nothing. You CANNOT have a backup that is prone to turning the ball over, no team wants that. If he got his turnover issue figured out than he would have more opportunities. Jamies needs to figure out his turnover issue, if he figures that out he can have a long career. If he can't, then he will be a lifetime backup for teams that are not in playoff contention. Thats just the way the NFL works.
Idc what anyone says. Jameis is still a starting QB in the NFL to me
Jameis 1st season at FSU was really good. However he always showed immaturity and the Bucs still made him the # 1 pick! 🤦🏾♂️
Another crazy part of his career was that in 2020 he had lasik eye surgery for blurry vision. Part of why he threw a ton of picks was cause he literally couldn’t see
Jameis is is the example of a Jekyll and Hyde. He literally throws as many Td's as he does INT's like how is that possible?
He's a horrible thrower but his receiver Corp could help . These overpaid hacks just let balls sail by instead of idk extending they're arms maybe pick up the pace idk make a effort. Tackling is pathetic too nowadays they are pros lol you learn as a kid how to play right these divas are pathetic
You do a great job of being very thorough but on this show, you missed something important. When He was in New Orleans it was discovered how Jameis had real problems with his eyesight and needed corrective eye surgery. That would explain such a high interception record.
Lol. I always liked Winston. He was funny n not scared to unleash the ball. He could rack up some yards w the best of em, but it came w a price. Sean Payton reigned him in tho n got a good result from it. Its one thing that i admire payton for
Jamis had great game feel, which people took for football intelligence. But his lack of cognitive ability also applied to football. He is just not very bright. His development seems stunted at 11-12 years old.
I watched in disgust when Jameis threw the pick 6 to end the Bucs season and was done with him as a player...Once that clown joined the Aints I was done with him as a person..."cleanest football of his career" While leading the 31st ranked offense doing dink and dunk...That Aints offense was garbage...and Bucs fans knew as soon as he tried to push the ball down the field bad things would happen...and they did...
I don’t remember a rise in his career. He had flashes of greatness but was as inconsistent as you could be. His 30/30 season will probably never be duplicated. 30 td and 30 int. Similar to Tebow, his college teams were so good that it masked his subpar talent as a qb. Matt Lionert is another in that category. Amazing college career, complete bust in the NFL.
He never played in a single playoff game got too full of himself ppl wanna talk shit bout Russ and shit but don’t wanna talk bout how Jamies is garbage at most he’s mid but he was never elite I like his competitiveness but he never carried his team to the post season even when he went with the saints he didn’t play
Bruh threw 5 picks and a fumble in one game, thats crazy work right there 😂😵💫☠️
Should of been given another chance to start?!?! I don't know if any qb ever had more chances
I know this is an old video, but I just wanted to say that I really enjoy your them. Thank you
I looked up the phrase "More trouble than they're worth" and it showed me Jameis Winston
As an FSU alumni i loved watching him play. As a bucs fan he was infuriating half the time lol
I don’t think there was ever a “rise” with this guy. Just the fall since he’s been in thr NFL.
I just realized how ugly jameis' spiral was/is. Ive never seen such an ugly sprial in the pros
This is excellent sports journalism. Thank you.
I hope Jamies never finds himself on my team, but I hope he stays in the league. Dudes great entertainment 😂
There was a content creator that did 30 in 30 and most of those picks were bad decisions and what the hell is going on here moments.
I think he’s a perfect backup, definitely better than Daniel Jones
You and Skip Bayless should have a show together!♥️♥️♥️
Bwing in the pro bowl and then a few seasons later being 3rd string isnt that far of a stretch. I mean some aren't even still in the league a few sessions later
Lauren 🔥
I am so glad you mentioned the eat the w speech, that’s an epic piece of famous Jameis lore
That one season was like a Madden season. 5000 yards, 33 tds and 30 interceptions lolol
3 QBs went in the 1st round of the 2019 NFL draft #RIPDwayneHaskins
he also got in trouble in college for stealing crab legs at a publix.
that was big news in florida
Lack luster group of receivers????? Mike Evans was there
Very talented but not fully committed to football and if u expect to be gr8 u have to be all-in all the time
I don’t think Jameis “decided to redshirt”. The team made that decision for him.
I wonder how much time he spent watching film and learning to read a defense.
I'm 7:12 in, and we're "eating a w" and the thing I noticed is at every turn Jamis is doing things I stopped doing by 17.
Jamis hit 16, became a big shit and never grew out of it. He just stopped there.
Can't stand Winston, Browns should have went with Flacco!
30 TDs and 30 INTs in the same season. What do you even do with that?
Love Smith left Tampa Bay it was over
Yes 💯
Subscribed immediately . Glad I found your channel
unexplicably is not a word. inexpiably is a word.
Jameis Winston downfall is when Tom Brady too his spot
Every one of these videos ends with them going to the Browns lol
oh no no it’s okay to shit on Nathan Peterman. (Bills fan)
Jameis grew up in the same town as Bo Jackson. Bessemer
Jameis couldve been like 2015 Cam Newton had he not thrown so many dam interceptions smh
My aunt would be my uncle if she had a dik
He’s also the youngest brother of rapper yung joc
And the crab 🦀 legs incident 😂😁😆
You can clearly see that that wasn’t a horse collar tackle
I heard he REALLY likes crab legs....
Winston can’t fall. Personality is too good
Who wants that W ? Who is gonna eat that W ? 😂😂😂
Great Video keep up the great work 🔥🔥🔥
