You prolly dont care at all but does anyone know of a way to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost the password. I would love any help you can offer me!
@Rodrigo Luka Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and im trying it out atm. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Is anyone playing anything like this. I haven't come across it. Wayne has pushed the music forward. Acoustic music devoid of a reliance on standard time. Brian is essential to this music.
maybe the greatest jazz quartett on the planet right now, with a very unique and inimitable voice. just listen to the solo climax on "prometheus unbound" and get taught a lesson in interplay and pushing your own limits to the max. the power and fearlessness of them all, but especially wayne, is absolutely indescribeable and very, very far out.

For something different, check out Wayne on the Bronx pop genius Laura Nyro's song 'Upstairs by a Chinese Lamp' (1970) from the 2014 Nyro tribute LP by Billy Childs. Miles was fan of Nyro's, and they did a few NYC shows together 1969.
Charlie Aravena ...I definitely believe Wayne KNEW SOME STUFF when he selected Johm and Brian! This is a first for me with Danilo -- I hope he isnt like the guy who did the duet album with Cassandra Wilson...I couldnt hear his 'center.' Ive forgotten his name...
iam finally hearing him for the first time since his sixties classics. this live in concert recording is so natural compared to his studio recordings. beautiful.
49:20 Is Prometheus Unbound. I think Lotus turns into Smilin' Through around 37:00, then She Moves Through the Fair around 39:25. Adventures Aboard the Golden Mean starts at 1:04:49.
giovanni robleto DAMN, Giovanni!! Ok...I know how deadly Wayne is...has been for a very long while. Since you made that statement: Imma check this out. Ive never seen a Wayne group live. Hey -- what do you think about Wayne and Miles live in 1969 with DeJohnette, Holland & Corea?? I STILL say the same thing about THAT GROUP. Thanks.
@@callmemonkh9020 He was already a big head with Miles Davis, both as a composer and as a musician and all these young people, he writes "Miles" in his autobiography that he had to practice at the time.
I’m keeping my eyes peeled for that one who will command them to do something they’ve not done before, like Miles did with his generation. We’ll know him/her as the one they’re paying attention to. It may be too much to ask to expect this in my one lifetime. I’m braced.
There is storytelling in the instrument, but you have to go to it wanting to tell people something. If you’re only playing beats, then what is it for?_Brian Blade
Herbie H. & Wayne S. & Chick C. -- just 3 MAGNIFICENT MUCICIANS who GREW from their time with Miles D. AS MUCH AS he GREW when they were together. That is so amazing to me.

Veronica Bayne no more bebop. this is new and like all great artists its the journey. i was so used to his sixties style iam now finally starting to hear what he is doing. he has always been a painter in sound. even more so now i guess. very beautiful.
I bought his "Footprints Live!" CD at a local library for pennies at a booksale, not knowing much about him or jazz. Couldn't get into it at all. Forced myself to listen again and again. It started to grow on me.. after about ten listens I loved it!!
You are ridiculous and have no ears for good music. That is an unbelievable statement. Wayne is a jazz witch doctor and god and plays more in a note or two than many do in their whole career. Are you on meds or something!? Wow, you really need to examine your soul. Go deep grasshopper.
Jazz musicians are truly amazing since even when they hit this age they are still pushing the boundaries of jazz. And what a quartet!
Fantasy never ends, life does

One of the best ensemble I've ever heard. The way they play - around Wayne / / Coltrane comes and goes...
Ich saß in der 1. Reihe !! Ein wunderbares Konzert. Danke Wayne und seinen Musikern
Und ich beneide Sie ... Das war ja nicht gerade irgendein Quartett.
Thanks a lot Guys !! Your music is remedy !!

Esto si es arte! si es música y si es realidad. Larga vida para este grupo de poetas.
FANTASTIC SOUND !!!

Love this drummer.

When Wayne is present the music always works it's way into something true that lifts off reaching

Шортер один из величайших саксофонистов мира. Его музыка - шедевр. Дай Бог ему долгих лет жизни.

Impressive concert!!!
Superb!!!
Una gloria
un QUARTET fabuleux pour un grand moment de JAZZ MAGIQUE🥍
The first time I hear Sax sounds like a Violin. Interesting.
Yes!!
Danilo Perez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok so why is this amazing music mixed to pretty much not include sax and drums?
There is storytelling in the instrument, but you have to go to it wanting to tell people something. If you’re only playing beats, then what is it for?_Brian Blade
🙏🏾🙏🏾
if you go to settings and place speed 1.25 , the music is fantastic.
I tried that but I went insane.....
It may be funny or useful for studyng, but to do such a thing to the music of Wayne Shorter and his colleagues is an Aberrration, shame on you! ;)
Ooooh, Carl!!! I NEVER KNEW THAT. THANK YOU!!!!
It does sound good...
Herbie H. & Wayne S. & Chick C. -- just 3 MAGNIFICENT MUCICIANS who GREW from their time with Miles D. AS MUCH AS he GREW when they were together. That is so amazing to me.
22:40 Nice !
Mr. Shorter is playing a Conn tenor sax here.Am i right? or it's the usual Selmer with a different neck?
ok...there are A LOT of UNIQUE NAMES in this commentary section!
What cymbals is Brian Blade using?
"Jazz, Jazz, Jazz! Ich möchte musizieren!"
WOW!!!
49:20 Prometheus unbound

Wow
Wow ! Mister Shorter was in a really good shape ! Saw him twice with this quartet. It was great but not that great !
The drums with Mr. Blade are miked, but they must be turned way down. Can’t hear neither the snare very much nor the high hat!!
Worlds Longest Intro Jazz
!!!!!!!!
"Jazzfan is for the children!"
Performance
Doesnt matter how much i listen just cant get in to Wayne’s playing Liebman on other hand or bob mintzer other level
The Grandmaster
Villanueva de Córdoba.
wahhhh
ショーターって、たしか昭和8年生まれだよね。ってことはこの時点で83,4歳?無理しないでくださいね。
NIce music...nice musicianship but I don't hear jazz. This is more like classical music. No oomph.
It depends on your definition of jazz. Oomph is just part of jazz. Is Sarah Vaughn singing Misty jazz?
Great musicians, but to free and avngarde
Patitucci looks like Gene Kruppa..
Gene Krupa. But, yes; I always say the same.
Nobody knows when start sound and over sound ITS confused
Over rated player he is not even in Tune
This set is wacked...no flow
ok maybe I should listen again.
jeshkam he is playing in a more free form now. much different than his juju, speak no evil days in the sixties.
Veronica Bayne it does take listening in a different way.
Veronica Bayne no more bebop. this is new and like all great artists its the journey. i was so used to his sixties style iam now finally starting to hear what he is doing. he has always been a painter in sound. even more so now i guess. very beautiful.

Couldn't get into it at all. Forced myself to listen again and
again. It started to grow on me.. after about ten listens I loved it!!
For me Wayne Shorter has always been a jazz hoax.
You are ridiculous and have no ears for good music. That is an unbelievable statement. Wayne is a jazz witch doctor and god and plays more in a note or two than many do in their whole career. Are you on meds or something!? Wow, you really need to examine your soul. Go deep grasshopper.
Thats because you have no history or soul
Its your right to have an opinion....it says more about you than the music you minimize.
Thank You Carl Moore
Couldn't have said it better!!!
Amazing concert!
!!!!!!!!
