- Today we continue on our epic road trip through central Laos! We started in Vientiane a few days ago, where we picked up our trusted car, now fondly named Bertie! We then drove down to Thakhek in central Laos to start on the Thakhek loop! Last episode, we saw some beautiful sights, drove along stunning roads, and were converted into cave people by the most incredible cave we’ve ever seen! Today we continue along the Thakhek Loop here in Laos, and let us tell you - it does not disappoint! An amazing day gets better with the BEST view of Laos and the most gorgeous sunset surrounded by limestone cliffs! Wow!

My wife is left handed, and I am right handed... and the conversation in the car after buy the red bulls was extremely real and relatable. Hahaha. Really enjoying the trip around Laos. We are going to SE Asia for some months and hadn't planned to go to Laos, but your videos are making us reconsider.

i am loving this Laos trip. I admit to having known pretty much nothing about the country other than the location before now. so lovely. I love that hotel too. Very yummy breakfast with great view. Absolutely love puppies. Road trip. Absolutely love Adriana’s laugh in the car. Dragon Cave and outstanding views out of the cave. More outstanding views. Absolutely loved the cabin with deck . I thought I herd a waterfall while Adriana was on the deck and yes I saw the bed test. Fantastic from start to finish

about the coffee. I use a french press to make my own ARABICA coffee with condensed milk. The chocolatey flavored coffee you had was ROBUSTA coffee. It can be found at larger super markets. Some more modern coffee shops seem to have ARABICA coffee, but you'll be paying more.

We rented it from Avis - it was around 50/60 USD per day!

We didn't have time because of having to return the car!
Hope you can get there next time. Motorbike ride is fine also, but a bit dangerous if your not use to ride on narrow road. What about Xieng Khouang, any plan to visit?

It's not common to be ambidextrus. I am, my son is and I think my grandmother was. But non of my other relatives are, included those that are lefties. I tend to use the right more, my son however uses the left to write with and the right one to eat with. The true test is - can you whisk with your non-dominant hand? Between you and me - it is REALLY nifty to be able to use both... 😀/Catta
Oh I thought it was quite common for left handed people to be 🤗👀 hahaha you’re right though, I always chose to whisk with my left but do some things with my right, but the fine manual dexterity actions are usually left 😂🤗

If you have another opportunity to re-visit Thailand, travel to Phuket. The public beaches are one of the best on this planet. Its not that crowded now and you can determined for yourself whether that's the truth. I am not that adventurous like you and your partner now as I have travelled to too many dangerous places when I was younger. Laos and Kampuchea are relatively safe now. Definitely safer than the countries south of the US, and south of Monaco. Now where will your travels take you next?
We really loved Phuket when we went! 😍🤗 after Laos and Cambodia we are thinking of going to the Philippines!
