We are attempting a motorcycle loop in Laos known as The Thakhek Loop. Ever since we heard about this loop, it has been a must for our bucket list while travelling Southeast Asia.
The Thakhek Loop is a 3-day motorcycle loop around what is known as the most beautiful part of Laos due to its huge limestone mountains and beautiful green rice fields. This Thakhek loop is not only about riding around in a loop and looking at the amazing scenery but also stopping along the way and exploring some hidden gems such as caves, spring pools, etc.
Day 1 of the loop was quite an exciting start for us as we got our scooter to start the loop and explored the Tham Nang Aen Cave. It was also a sad start as Dan broke his sunglasses and we also lost our drone which means we lost all the footage that was on the drone too. So no drone footage for our entire Loas Series :( But it's okay, we will soldier on and make the best of the trip that we have always wanted to do)

It's really sad that you lost the drone. The footage would've been even more hurtful. Hope you guys buy a new one soon. Or try finding a used one online. I know this isn't much, but I hope it helps!

Oh thats so tragic to have lost the drone due to bird attack. My good heavens .. never even thought that could happen. But thank you so much for taking us through. The footage from this trip is amazing. It seems like some place from Lost world.
