Follow up to last comment - worked a complicated image to alter the color of sun dappled yellow highlights to pale violet. DId the RGB split channel technique to isolate, red was the best choice, then levels to accentuate, mask layer from image and tada got the effect I was after. Thanks again!
Thanks for the detailed explanation ot this in depth tut. By changing the blend mode of the top merged layer into dodge, I find the yellow / orange colors a bit more sparkling and in a better alingment with the freshness of the water drops.
I would like to congratulate you for the excellent job you are doing with all you PSP tutorials, not just this one. PSP does need as many such tutorials as it can get (meaning from people like you who can go deep, know how to communicate what they are showing, and don't spend awful lot of time in explaining trivial aspects). It adds a little more prestige to the program itself, which is way more powerful than most people may think.
i guess Im randomly asking but does anybody know a method to get back into an Instagram account? I was stupid forgot my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me
@Milo Reginald Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Excellent videos! Can you make a video explaining how to use PSP's "photo blend" function to merge two photos of the same scene, retaining the best parts from each photo. I'm particularly miffed by the apparent requirement that both images have identical pixel dimensions and align with each other perfectly. This must require some pre-processing that I don't know about, because two photos of the same scene are never aligned perfectly, right?
You can reduce the impact of any colour change outside of the boys mask by painting the "mask" black in the parts where you don't want the changes to show up. That way you totally isolate the area to be changed.
Thank you for your in depth video. I've wasted hours trying to find out how to create luminance masks in PSPro 2020. Do you have any more similar videos isolating luminance areas in a landscape? I used to use Photoshop and have to learn a different approach to get the results I need.
I plan to do a video on a manual kind of HDR approach eventually. As for what I have so far, you can kind of see in this video: th-cam.com/video/LlzLiul5V7I/w-d-xo.html at the 5 and a half minute mark, I show how to use luminance masks to isolate the foreground from the sky (although I'll admit it wasn't a great example).
You are the BEST Tutor, Paint shop Pro. Hands Down! Thank You
I'm glad to hear that the content is helpful for you.
As I watch your videos I realize there is a depth here. Thankyou!
