This is the first video on string bending that properly address the 'nail' issue i.e. what to do about your nail catching the string above as you bend up and giving that awful click sound. It sounds trivial but it makes a huge difference to how it sounds. Great no nonsense tutorial. Many thanks.
I'd look into getting one or two of the various bending levers that go on the bridge; would make it way easier and give you even more options. Or, learn slide, or get a lap steel without levers, or go crazy and get a pedal steel!
Ronnie Hudson how about you learn how to play guitar left handed. It’s not easy is it? Think of how the left handed players need to switch to the right. I play “right handed” and I’m right handed but I know I couldn’t switch to left hand
This is excellent! I wish more tutorial videos would use this angle.
Highly recommended.
Agreed !!!
Good point! You can see everything.
Guthrie Trapp is a fantastic guitar player.
Just the lesson and guidance I needed! Thank you Guthrie!
Guthrie is so good, I haven’t seen this one yet, thanks.
Great lesson thanks Guthrie

Yeah, I find that keeping nails clipped short is very important for playing and bending cleanly.
Guthrie is the big man on campus in Nashville. That takes a lot folks. Dude is beyond a bad ass he’s a ground breaking player !!!
What kind of strings do you youse,,009.? Elixir? or?
Great lesson and the application for the licks. Also, I dig the hat mate!
Lets use "A" Mr. Trapp. Its so country
ARTISTWORKS, can you make a video tutorial on showing a lot of different pedal steel bends licks on guitar?
So good.
Love your camera angle! 💀🔥
Great lesson.
4:37 'put the little finger on the A string' he means put the little finger on the A note on the B string i.e. 10th fret of the B string.
ARTISTWORKS, do you know any more pedal steel finger tapping licks?
Thanks.good vid.thumbs up.
How could I do this without using my little finger. I've had Ulnar nerve damage and can't use it anymore. Any help would be grateful

Django Reinhart comes to mind.
I'd like to hear more from this chap. But careful not to mix the word 'string' and 'fret' as here!
Fantastisk
I'm a leftie and the upside down angle just doesn't work for me.
I can’t w the camera angle
As a lefty, this camera angle makes it very hard to make use or sense of what you're doing. Perhaps use a simple "from the front" angle?
Ronnie Hudson wtf
Ronnie you are correct. Only people who like to defecate on cats play lefty.
@Ronnie Hudson you know it. Great minds know the truth.
Steve lol

I love you your tele, but hate your hat.
