I can watch all of you fabulous soap makers everyday and many times over! I am a nurse but have been making soap as a hobby for a year now and you have taught me SO much! Love your soaps! Thanks for sharing!
Oh wow 👌 I've used this rainbow sherbet fragrance oil in some pumpkin soaps last September and they turned out great, I still have a few left and they still smell good. 🌈 ❣
Awe. I would say it probably really depends on recipes. I’ve changed mine up and now I have to use room temperature soaping. It just works best for this particular recipe.
Not questioning your methods because obviously it's working and you identified it as a soaping method. But can you explain the science? Im assuming your lye water generates heat in the batter. Enough to melt your solids???😳 (That's hot!) But how does the soap keep from going to trace before ev is melted? I would think the mixture slowly firming up due to saponification would keep the everything from melting not to mention if there is any type of acceleration.
It doesn’t saponify because it’s not blended yet. Just stirring would take hours and hours to bring to trace. But as soon as your mixer hits it. It will start to thicken up :)
Beautiful soap!! 🥰 By the way, if you don’t mind my asking, but how much lye water do you use for a base this size? I’m just starting out in making soap and so far I have only gotten my lye mixture correct for one batch of soap.
Thank you ☺️ Learn a soap calculator ☺️ without a soap calculator you could waste so much money with wrong amounts of oils and lye. Watch a few tutorials on TH-cam it’s so easy once you figure it out soapcalc.net/calc/soapcalcWP.asp
Ahhhh!! The brightness of the colors!!!!
Quietly muttering under my breath, “Scrapey, scrapey, my little…”
Looks like an impressionist painting before you unmolded and after the cut. This soap reminds me of summer picnics.
I love rainbows.
