What irritates me is, these administrators know how it was when they graduated from high school and how happy they were. Let these kids rejoice this milestone in their lives. Im tired of these principals taking the joyous moments from the students.
You can do that at the end. It's other kids graduating not just the "look at me" kid
You're right and as an school administrator now I see how much it cost and the time constraints when we have 12 hours to peform 3 high school graduations (avg 475) and a 10k a min for every min over. If every kid stops line do a 30 second tik tok montage shit gets real expensive. Like I personally told them, "we all grown now, you can dance yo asses to your seat as long as you don't hold up the line."
There doesn’t seem to be a line. They danced after coming off the stage. I saw this video the other day on TikTok other kids danced too. The other kids that danced got sent over somewhere else but the other cops didn’t grab them like that. Also he got into with the teachers too. Also looks like he was about to walk up on her and got grabbed by other cop. This isn’t the only video of these kids dancing at their graduation I saw a lot of vids from Louisiana of students dancing. Some of the vids the admin and cops danced with them coming off the stage. They did complete school and a lot of them went through a lot while also some didn’t make it so I would rather they dance instead of fights breaking out like some other graduations including someone being shot.
I also saw someone comment on TikTok on a graduation vid that at their graduation the principal said no one could even clap for the students.
Especially after they had to take orders from these administrators all year long, hell let them get loose for one minute they earned it! You can't control them now because your time is up, the year is over, all the work is done! They want to hold on to authority even at the end!

USA is the most repressive and opressive country in the world, a few countries have policemen in the schools, universities, etc; a policeman is a justification of a brutal behavior and a weapon against life, the question is always the same releasing the policemen like raging dogs without a control or orientation with the students life and psique is a act of terrorism. The students don't know the rol of the policemen and the policemen know only to deal with criminal behavior (most of them don't know the laws ir the difference between detention and arresto, even if they are 20 years or more in the police) the level of ignorance is high, you can't hire soldiers as policemen they only know how to kill, not how to deal with people.

It’s not chilling but rather just sad that students refused to follow the repeated instructions of the school. They were specifically told not to dance while walking and to wait until the end to celebrate…but their failure to follow those instructions is why the police were even needed. Just goes to show that the school anticipated this disregard of instructions prior to this graduation meaning they knew some would fail to follow instructions and therefore required enforcement.

As a college professor and journalist, I cannot imagine any scenario under which it is appropriate for high school administrators to use law enforcement officials to prevent teenagers from expressing joy at graduation. Graduates should be able to dance, sing, step, or scream to demonstrate their happiness at reaching a milestone in their lives.
@@CarmenGlover you are clearly missing the point of this situation. Did you see any other students behaving like this? As a "college professor", do you have any rules that your students are supposed to follow? I recently went to my niece's graduation, they had rules, how many people can you invite due to seating, no outbursts from the students, nothing political on their gowns and hats, no cell phones etc. So you are totally fine with any of your students not following your rules and they can just do whatever they want?

There is a thing called freedom of expression. The School receives Federal funding and therefore has no right to violate the student's rights.
State funding... it's high school not college and you can do a dance but others are graduating too. Time is ticking not your time
Angela is correct, States don’t fund public schools. Public schools are funded by the Federal Government and so are the colleges. If your talking about those privet schools or those elaborate White High Schools that look like college campus’s then your right those white schools are funded be the Corporate State.

There is a high school in Texas where they had to cancel the graduation because only a few students where eligible to graduate. Therefore, in times like these I believe that we should celebrate and support these children who made it through high school without flunking out; getting murdered; overdosing; being sex trafficked; being in a psychiatric facility permanently; going to prison; or being shot and killed at the DAMN SCHOOL! So what if they are loud! They want this world to know that they made it against all odds! So what if it breaks the stale ass boring decorum of typical graduations. It's surely better than going to their funeral! As a mother, grandmother and teacher...the the kids dance 🎉🎉🎉😂

I remember back at my high schools graduation back in 1988, We all did alot of dancing after we received our diplomas while going back to seat at the bleachers, We also tossed beach balls to each other, It's normal to celebrate after graduating with a fun dance after receiving the diploma, There's no need for these cops or rent a cops to over react
