I love Ryan. He is pulling out his entire bag of tricks, and really working the enthusiasm to get people amped about this property. It almost worked. Ryan ALMOST made me have an appreciation for this property, which is a true testament to his skills. In the end, for 17,000,000... I don't want a fixer upper. This property would be great as a set for films / shows in a certain era. Even though I don't like the property, I enjoyed Ryan and the vlog. If anything, it has inspired me to take what I have and work it the best I can. No matter what, give it all you've got, best foot forward.

Made it. As a trim carpenter/cabinet maker here in scottsdale, az... There are very few artists in the world that could recreate that property. Well over $1 million worth of wood, time and design if we were to redo this type of a gem now days. They really don't make things like they used to. Also, as a contractor who has a real estate license... you are a poet and a scholar Ryan. One hell of a presentation and your passion for it shows through. Well done!

Hopefully I will be a part but still to see the city you love be neglected and just lose that NY spirit. At least rents should be low enough for a whole new class and new business class. Deblasio will never be able to walk the city after his term. Till then I look forward to the shows, the dinner parties, the celebrations, coffee and chocolate at sunsets, workouts at sunrise, the 2 min convos with strangers, and of course all those new friends, Nathens days, so much more! Lovely home. I would update only what was needed. The kitchen would get a complete overhaul, the bathrooms would get new low-flush toilets, the electrical and security system would be upgraded, and I would change out some of th chandeliers and all of the artwork.
This house has been for sale for 10 years. It cost 30 million 10 years ago. It is beautiful on the outside, I have seen it, it is in front alice tea cup, but inside even my grandmother is modern for that house.
Really beautiful 19thc townhouse. The woodwork and wood all over the home is wonderful. The new steel and glass high rises here are generally pretty generic. After a week you just want motorized window treatments to block out the light during the day. NYC light is harsh and gray. They look glamorous but aren’t.
You have to be FANCY to enjoy this place. I’d enjoy it because there aren’t many places on earth like it. AND AND AND, it’s a bargain for the space (8,000+ sq ft), great outdoor space, and the NEIGHBORHOOD. Also, you are a hop, skip, and a j u m p from the MAGICAL Central Park. This place is under priced
