Hey Ryan, I must say that I look forward to your Vlogs on a weekly basis. They serve as a motivator for me. I do have mt RE License but have not taken the leap to do this full time, out of pure fear that I will not be able to keep the lights on for my family.
I go through emails, like you, write down my goals for the next day then catch up on business news (I am a financial advisor in Guelph Ontario, Canada!)
Recently I've started reading sales books. This week I'm reading "The First 90 Days" by Michael Watkins and my next book in the wings is "The 10X Rule" by Grant Cardone. Anything you suggest Ryan?
I pack my bag for the next day, i watch some motivational videos, i get some supper and then i read stuff about whats going on in the market, real estates the last thing on my mind at night and the first thing on my mind in the morning👍
This vlog has quickly become one of my favorites on TH-cam!! I've went back and rewatched most of them too, and I never do that with vlogs lol. Thank you for sharing this insight into your inspiring life Ryan
Armit Pal Singh, don't be so optimistic about it :) You won't just wake up some day and be like Ryan, there is a long road to walk before. But a good goal as a guiding star definetely should be a staring point!
Hey Ryan, I'm a Mortician. So I work all day and all night and I fucking love it. I spend my nights going over paperwork that comes in overnight for Patients we'll be helping the next day. Then I wake up early and start planning out my game plan for how to go about the day. Basically, I get my ducks in order the night before to get the best plan of action the next morning. Thanks Ryan! Take Care
my current "night" routine (7-8pm) is preping food for the next day, packing my gym bag and work bag. doing dishes, cleaning whatever needs to be done. in bed around 8pm, wake up at 3:30am for pre workout meal, gym around 5am, Office between 8-9am. BOOM!
My days are busy. My wife is my business partner and we have five daughters (ages 6-14). So like you, I set the next day up the night before. 10pm - 1am (when everyone, including my boss (wife) is asleep. :-). Clear emails, schedule texts, send emails to my PA (meetings, conference calls, lunches, etc). I find that the I can accomplish more in those three hours than I can during the day. Thank God for Hulu and Nexflix in the background. Great vlog @RyanSerhant!
I mentally prepare for the biggest tasks of the day the night before. And kill them first thing in the morning. Fresh and full of energy to get the most out of my day!
Ryan, the fear about wasted potential is one of the best things i've heard today.! My fear is, when i achieve my goals, forget what i've been through to achieve em. Keep up brother !🔥
Two things: 1. looking forward to putting my buddy onto this channel as he is jumping into real estate with his father. 2. go through the task items that were not a priority/completed that day, build a new task list for the following day that includes that days priorities and tasks if I have spare time, and make sure emails are attended to. Weekly I would add review short-term and long term deals that are expected to close to make sure I have done everything I need to at that time. cheers,
Hey Ryan Serhant my name is William and I am 16 years old from Colorado. I first saw you on season 6 of Million Dollar Listing New York and now I am hooked. Watching you has inspired me to dedicate myself and work hard to get where I want to be when I grow up. I have seen and read you latest Instagram post and I want to thank you for everything your doing with speeches and seminars at schools and inspiring everyone that meets you. Today at 10:00AM students at my high school stood in silence for 17 minutes outside. People held up posters with there thoughts like Am I Next?, the victims names and the American flag. I know that we (young adults, teens & kids) of all ages and ethnicity’s will make a change. Thank you so much Ryan Serhant for inspiring me and lots of others around the world. Keep up the great work.
I have to clean the dishes out of the sink, make a cup of tea, layout tomorrow's clothes, & then there's a series of journal prompts - one of which is what my top accomplishments for tomorrow will be. 🖤 found you thru Eric Conover, love your channel!
I've learned to spend an hour in the morning on a Sunday, and look over my coming week and write down some of the things I need to accomplish on certain days. Then every night I dedicate 30min-1hr and look at the next days agenda and then do my best at going over my schedule and plan the day out. That way when I wake up, I not trying to remember what things I need to do. Its allowed me to mode efficient and organized. In naturally very disorganized and people dont know that. They assume I'm very organized. But I am just very aware of my shortcomings and by doing this every night, I am more productive and efficient with my time. I'm in sales as well and this helps me stay on top of clients I'm working on or projects that are about to close. And I mean I plan everything. From when I work out, to when I eat, to when I'm going to call this person and when I'm getting gas. Now my whole day may not be full when I review the night before, but because when I wake up I already know where I will be that day, if something comes up, I know where to plug it in for the day, and therefore i stay organized. Love your Blog by the way. Huge fan!
Hey!! I'm from the UK, Cambridge. I've been watching your show on television on and off for around 3/4 years and always enjoy it!! Came across your blog channel and absolutely love your grind!! Really inspires me. Every night before bed or even when I find time to play on my Xbox before bed I think to myself what I did today that helped get me a step closer to my dreams to retire my parents. And then think about what I can do the next day an so on.
I like the word RITUAL, instead of routine, because words matter to challenge the mindset. While I'm doing similar tasks, emails, text messages, etc .., I like to listen to motivational posts I've flagged to watch later so that subconsciously I accentuate the positive before I slumber.
The biggest mountain I am trying to climb is getting organized and staying that way. I feel from the bottom of my heart, that organization is right before my personal break through.
Ryan you are a machine my man! Could not stop laughing at the fashion show!! Hilarious Lol. After training first thing in the morning, then work, my nightly routine consists of this; 1. Family time 2. Work on my new apparel line, (my passion & to get me out of my mind-numbing day job), 3. Minimum 5km walk to clear my head and switch off, (I live in a beautiful part of Ireland), hail rain or shine, 4. half hour down the rabbit hole that is TH-cam, 5. Night face wash and moisturise, 6. 10 minutes in-ear relaxation and lastly, bedtime reading.
You're right about everything. Love your ideas and follow through. Im changing my workout routine tomorrow. Tomorrow ill start working out in the morning so i can be more productive in the evening. I write ideas down and things i need to research and go through. Put pen to paper and accomplish it
Best part of Wednesday is the Vlog, Worst part of Wednesday is when the vlog is over and I have to wait a week! Great job again, love the honestly. I join the late night work train, and often use the night to catch up and answer emails that may have come in during meetings, etc.
I do a lift at night, get all my clothes ready for the next day, prep my gym stuff on a chair so can be half awake and still dressed / out the door on my way to the gym for AM fasted cardio by 6:20. Also do the classics of cleaning out both work / personal email, figure out key goals for the next 24hrs and put in my reminders app. Last but not least I throw on some music or stand-up comedy and crash!
5:36 - My husband does this ALL the time. If I am talking, I HAVE to ensure he is actually listening if he is not looking at me. That mind is working 24/7!
Glass of red wine, to do list in notebook, set out work clothes, prepare lunch, and breakfast for next morning. I am a dad of two school aged children and teach third grade. The more I prepare at night, the better things go the next day! Nice to find you on TH-cam, Ryan!
I’m a sticky note guy. I like to leave reminders and things that are most important to do either the week of or the next couple days on my monitor so I see them all the time and they’re in my face to remember.
fuq Netflix, these vlogs need to be binge watched.. love your vlogs Ryan, the editor is lit too😂 as for the night time routine, I end by day by watching TH-cam, I need to fix that..
I'm in insurance sales and I work in the field where I meet clients in their home. I confirm appointments the day before then map out my route, verify I have the enrollment kits I need and adjust my alarm for an earlier rise time if necessary since drive time can be 1+ hour. I also prepare my breakfast in advance and pack my cooler so that I dont have to eat fast food and when appts run long I can grab a quick snack. I listen to Sell It Like Serhant on Audible in my car and it pumps me up and reminds me of my why. Thank you!
Love the energy and routine. You are a different breed. The scream was on point for who you appear to be. My day starts at 5:00 but ends at 5:00 as well. Constantly working on keeping positive attitude. Tough at times!
Hey Ryan!! At night I critique my ENTIRE day. I look at what I did right and what I can approve on. Then I come up with at least one way to be even more productive on the following day so I can continuously grow!
Haha, the ending was hilarious. Great episode. Love hearing what your routine the prior night is all about. Simply put, I need to do more planning the night before. Keep up the blog, it's a fun watch.
Me and my broker have conversations about you all the time. We are pushing through our insane high season with the goal of being a Ryan Serhant one day. I know we’ll make it because we’re good people and we work hard. Thanks for the inspiration.
Ryan, I just recently started my career in commissioned sales (less than 3 months) and have quickly gained attention in my company for my sales record. I did not feel confident in this and kept feeling like the rug would be swept from underneath me any day, so I started watching TH-cam videos on Sales to try to improve any way I can to maybe feel more confident, and I came across your videos. Honestly had never seen you before. I noticed that you too have a real, no bs presence in your career and a hardcore work ethic like me, and I have taken a lot of what I’ve seen and heard from you to my pitches and in my personal life and my sales quickly skyrocketed, literally in a matter of days. I can’t thank you enough for this. I feel more confident and I don’t really feel like this will be taken from me anymore. Buying your book now, so in advance, Thank you again.
As a former Realtor getting back into the business, this is so motivating for me. I do something similar at night and use those early morning hours to kick my day into high gear. Thank you for being so inspiring!
The night before, I plan out as much of the next day as I can. Real estate can be unpredictable but planning helps me be productive and prepared for any curveballs the day might throw me!
There is nothing I love more than this vlog, it is an understatement to say that i dream of having your work ethic and the amount of success you have in the world of real estate. Just got an internship in Boston next summer working Sales and Marketing in Real Estate and I plan on using all your tips and tricks in order to attract clients and sell sell sell. Keep up the great work and cant wait for Sell it Like Serhant!
Just want to THANK YOU! for creating such an AWESOME VLOG. YOU rock RYAN SERHANT 👊 SHOUT OUT TO HERMIE FROM LAS VEGAS😁 #BESTCREATION I'm very addicted to this Vlog.
My nightly routine is that I listen to TH-cam videos about things I'm interested in and want to learn about (i.e. how to make and record music, inspirational stuff, etc.) while I work from my home office.
Before bed, I review my intentions for the day. How did I do? What could I have done better? What's my calendar look like for tomorrow? Currently I'm experimenting with my bed time so I don't need an alarm to wake up.
Jimmy Le That’s great for you. One thing I would say is not to experiment with your bed time too much, especially if you have found yourself to be effective on your current schedule. Do you switch jobs a lot where your times to have to wake up are totally different? The reason I ask is that most people don’t need an alarm to wake up after a very short time of getting into a routine. Your body has its own internal clock and you will simply find yourself waking up at that time.
Before I leave the office I write out a list of the most important things that have to get done the next day and leave it on my desk to hit first thing in the morning. I also clean out all my emails before going to bed which helps me get a jumpstart on the next day. I usually check LinkedIn and post something motivational for everyone to read. And then I like to listen to a motivational speech or music.
I'm a therapeutic counsellor and a natural reflector, so this tends to kick in whilst I'm driving home. Once at home, I check my diary, emails and prepare any necessary notes for the next day. Client issues can be very taxing on the mind, therefore, I try and relax/de-stress by watching tv shows that are light such comedies or interesting vlogs - such as Ryan Serhant's videos xo
Ryan is my Spirit Animal everything I say can be backed up by something in writing. At night I read an article on Pinterest, or a magazine, audiobook, or even read my horoscope and I launch a new fragrance every night 😇🏓
I read emails before heading to bed and then mentally prepare for tomorrow’s task. Great vlogs btw. Enjoy watching and learning new things. Keep up the great work.
To destress before bed, I typically will check emails and my calendar for the next day around 10PM, take a shower/clean up, get in bed and watch TH-cam videos for about an hour if not more. It's a way for me to destress and completely free my mind from whatever has come my way. In the morning I typically read on the way to work (I take public transit), that way I can fully commit to my work when I arrive and not miss anything when distracted on the bus/moving from the bus into my office.
I've found the biggest problems in my day come when I have to make decisions in the morning (what am I going to do next? what am i going to write about? what video am I going to record/edit? which article am i going to edit/publish? etc). If I can start my day without making too many (or any) decisions, my ability to accomplish (and feel good about it) goes up a crazy amount. So my evening - if I'm doing it right - involves making all the next morning's decisions. In short that's outlining the next day's task list as detailed as is necessary to remove decision making from getting in the way of flow (that includes deciding what I'm going to wear and what coffee I'm going to make). Then once a week (usually Sunday), I work on a macro version of that so each evening i'm just pulling from a macro batch of tasks/goals/etc. The more you are thinking about things and trying to do them at the same time, the more you'll trip over your own brain.
I don't know if he is still reading the comments on this video from three years ago but this channel has been instrumental as I have been trying for my real estate license in staying focused and picking up good habits
The scream (and the editting around it) are literally The. Best. Love your vlog. It's getting better with each one. I'm a big fan of the snap to introduce segments. It's really smart. Keep up the progress.
As a single parent, I fly into bed. Goodness to me is enough sleep to have a productive next day. I create closure in the office and make sure the kitchen is set for the AM, and yes, that my makeup brushes are clean for the AM routine!
I follow Gary Vaynerchuk religiously but I’ve followed Ryan even longer because he has the total package of lifestyle. I appreciate that from such a successful person.
Hi Ryan, I make sure the list of ‘to do’s’ are complete. I say prayers of gratitude for the day. I create a new list of ‘to do’s and make sure my calendar is up to date with the appointments I need to accomplish the next day. That way I fall asleep without going over the list of things I need to accomplish the next day. I keep a pad and pen bedside instead of my phone so I’m not tempted to start scrolling through my phone.
It is 11.30 PM here when I was watching your video. Still working on a report that is due tomorrow for client. Your video gets me going! Thanks for being an inspiration!
Mario Martinez Unsustainable in my view. He’s surviving on no more than 5-6 hours sleep. Long term, major deprivation will kick in if not already. Genetics are genetics sure but look how grey he is. I’m all for working hard, but what’s the point if there’s then no chance to play hard. Or just not play at all. In such a life you’ll miss the forest for the trees. Life becomes about endless growth and goals, of which the possibility is endless, and so there’s never a moment or a stage of ‘Okay, this is enough.’ It makes you very successful, no doubt, as he is, but I appreciate the finer, priceless things in life too much to be going at my job 24/7. By education I’m a philosopher and culture is fundamental to me. I need time to enjoy that alone and with others. There must be some end in which all of this work can serve as a means.
@@ManForToday For some, the work is play. The chase is the game. It's not about work work work so that later I can play; it's about the thrill of setting goals and hitting them.
These video edits just keep getting better! 🤞snap! Clear the inboxes and write down tomorrows goals. Groceries. Appts. Etc. Clear the mind and sleep like a baby... Til the baby crys and you get up.
I think about what things I am looking to improve in my businesses and/or life and what actions have to be taken to get me to where I want to be. I schedule all the important things in my calendar and review what's coming up the next few days. I answer any emails I have, get into bed and catch up with my wife, usually we give each other a lightback rub or any sore muscle areas from working out, exchanging how our day was, what we learned, what ideas we had throughout the day (especially anything we might be excited about). We share any progress we made on our goals and talk about how we could achieve them or what each of us plans on doing to make them happen. Then sleep time. : )
Every night after I have finished reading and responding to emails I load the dishwasher and put it to wash. In the morning before I even have my coffee I unload the clean dishes. The gives me a sense of accomplishment both before bed and before I start my day! Its all about having a productive state of mind. Love the videos Ryan! I am a financial advisor and I find that a lot of your content is relatable to my business as well. Thanks, Brady
Hey Ryan, love the shark on your desk!. I wish I have the job as your cameramen for free because that is the only effective way I can learn from you. Your day is very interesting. Every minutes counts. I used to have a good job in my country but since I have move to new country. I have to start from beginning. Life is not easy but I try my best to keep the fire in me and stay away from boring life. Watching your video really gives me the motivation and live my dream for better future. Thanks Ryan
Hi Ryan, I love your Vlogs just watched your vlog in Vancouver. Was excited to see Dan Lock and his home. You are inspiring and a very nice person. I used to watch Million Dollar listing which I love and the only reason i have seen any TV. I do not watch TV and have not done for Decades.
What the heck is this vlog real 17 million dollar deal😮😮
There is nothing I love more than this vlog, it is an understatement to say that i dream of having your work ethic and the amount of success you have in the world of real estate. Just got an internship in Boston next summer working Sales and Marketing in Real Estate and I plan on using all your tips and tricks in order to attract clients and sell sell sell. Keep up the great work and cant wait for Sell it Like Serhant!
It's amazing how I was having a bit of a bad day and after I watched your vlog I felt happy. Thank you for that!
Just want to THANK YOU! for creating such an AWESOME VLOG. YOU rock RYAN SERHANT 👊 SHOUT OUT TO HERMIE FROM LAS VEGAS😁 #BESTCREATION I'm very addicted to this Vlog.
You are super inspirational to my son. He's learned so many tidbits from your vlogs, thanks for sharing!
I've only watched two episodes and I'm already enjoying this!
I make sure I completed all of my todos for the day, update my CRM and review my meetings for the next day.
I rarely used an alarm to wake up and I’m so grateful for that until quarantine changed our lives
Your vlogs are so much fun to watch!!! That scream I'm still laughing!!
lol
I'm a therapeutic counsellor and a natural reflector, so this tends to kick in whilst I'm driving home. Once at home, I check my diary, emails and prepare any necessary notes for the next day. Client issues can be very taxing on the mind, therefore, I try and relax/de-stress by watching tv shows that are light such comedies or interesting vlogs - such as Ryan Serhant's videos xo
Thanks for inspiring Ryan! I love to watch your skill and technique and learn your ways for when I start my jouney.
The scream on repeat is laugh out loud funny! Thank you.
Show us how you get out of bed. Your breakfast and morning routine :)
I would assume he gets out feet first like most of us.
Anon1993 lol. That was hilarious
I would love to know your morning routine!
Ryan's definitely head first
He did
I am a huge advocate for journaling. I have a nightly routine of journaling and clearing my mind so I have restful sleep. Then I can slay the next day
Ryan, after putting dinner and the house cleaned up I’m up constantly looking at the MLS! Trying to find leads in Northern Connecticut
Great Video!
Ryan is my Spirit Animal everything I say can be backed up by something in writing. At night I read an article on Pinterest, or a magazine, audiobook, or even read my horoscope
and I launch a new fragrance every night 😇🏓
Best VLOG I've seen in a long time!!
Take 5, listen to some tunes, write down my must do goals for the following day and get some sleep! Wake up fresh!
This episode was HILARIOUS. Great job by the editor. Ryan, what hair product do you use?
I watch your vlog to go to bed inspired
Love that opening tune
I don't know if he is still reading the comments on this video from three years ago but this channel has been instrumental as I have been trying for my real estate license in staying focused and picking up good habits
Love watching the process 💯
Love that you do these. Thanks. I will always remember that guy that jumped in the pool.
Loving your Vlogs......Keep up the great work!
The scream (and the editting around it) are literally The. Best.
Love your vlog. It's getting better with each one. I'm a big fan of the snap to introduce segments. It's really smart. Keep up the progress.
Hey Ryan, Keep it up my friend! love watching your vlogs
"My biggest fear in life is wasted potential, that's it... and that's what drives me" - BRILLIANT!
The editing is genius in this episode. Keep it up.
As a single parent, I fly into bed. Goodness to me is enough sleep to have a productive next day. I create closure in the office and make sure the kitchen is set for the AM, and yes, that my makeup brushes are clean for the AM routine!
Love the title of the vlog. You're so right about that.
I follow Gary Vaynerchuk religiously but I’ve followed Ryan even longer because he has the total package of lifestyle. I appreciate that from such a successful person.
Awesome video man. Can't wait to see you in your new show on Bravo.
I keep a pad and pen bedside instead of my phone so I’m not tempted to start scrolling through my phone.
u remind me of harvey specter ❤
He's the Harvey Specter of Real Estate! ;)
@@broderickgk yes indeed mate 💙
It is 11.30 PM here when I was watching your video. Still working on a report that is due tomorrow for client. Your video gets me going! Thanks for being an inspiration!
When you work late like being at the office at 10pm do you wake up at 4am the next day? And if so how do you deal with the lack of sleep?
Great question Mario! I was thinking the same thing...
I gotta say... Your vlog is growing on me like crazy. Truly inspirational. Thanks!
Anyone happens to know the background music at 1:12?
its 2019 my friend, shazam
These video edits just keep getting better! 🤞snap! Clear the inboxes and write down tomorrows goals. Groceries. Appts. Etc. Clear the mind and sleep like a baby... Til the baby crys and you get up.
Hey Ryan, do you wake up 430 am every morning or just Monday to Friday?
I think about what things I am looking to improve in my businesses and/or life and what actions have to be taken to get me to where I want to be. I schedule all the important things in my calendar and review what's coming up the next few days. I answer any emails I have, get into bed and catch up with my wife, usually we give each other a lightback rub or any sore muscle areas from working out, exchanging how our day was, what we learned, what ideas we had throughout the day (especially anything we might be excited about). We share any progress we made on our goals and talk about how we could achieve them or what each of us plans on doing to make them happen. Then sleep time. : )
Ryan are you a iPhone or Android guy ?
Iphone
Every night after I have finished reading and responding to emails I load the dishwasher and put it to wash. In the morning before I even have my coffee I unload the clean dishes. The gives me a sense of accomplishment both before bed and before I start my day! Its all about having a productive state of mind.
Love the videos Ryan! I am a financial advisor and I find that a lot of your content is relatable to my business as well.
Thanks,
Brady
Gary Vee? Is that you?
I'm Ryan nice to meet you
Lol this is hilarious. We love them both!
Thanks Ryan
