Congratulations on the 300th video! Excellent choice on the topic, There are many people asking the same question, Inlay or No inlay. And you clearly helped us here. Thanks Rob! Cheers to 300 more!!
Brother Rob, congrats on 300 videos. I am so happy you take time out of your busy life to make these videos. I love watching everything you share, and I mean the political thoughts and the way you bring mention of the good Lord Jesus in everything you do. I appreciate a man that understands where our blessings come from and does not take for granite what God so freely gives us all. It is through you that I have found other genuine folks online like Rick, Jon, Camp and a few others that I consider to be my cyber family and I am blessed. Keep up the hard work Sir. God bless you and your family
CONGRATS.....wow, 300 videos!!! ( Sorry, I'm "late for class", LOL.) Until now, I never realized there's such a variance of the lock face position among the Sebenza's. Just another reason why I love your videos. Yeah, no matter what kind of knives a person gravitates to, it's nearly impossible to buy "just 1". If they ever come up with a cure........please......do NOT let me know about it, LOL. Our Father & our Lord & Savior Jesus is GREAT.......and may they watch over us all, as we meet here on your channel for the NEXT 300 videos and beyond. Thanks Rob, and keep 'em rollin' Brother.
Just purchased a large left handed 21 insingo w/ micarta inlays and I love it! Out of the other 5 CRK's I own (large 21 lefty plain, small 21 lefty plain, large 21 insingo plain, lefty plain umnum, lefty Wilson combat umnum) this one may be my favorite! Love the feel of the micarta! Planning on sending you my crew of Sebenza's for you to work your sharpening magic on! Congrats on 300!! Grace and peace from Atlanta!
It's kind of a mind-blower actually. That's a whole lot of time of me flapping the gums behind the camera! But what's really hard to believe is that people actually take the time to watch! LOL :)
i dont mean to be so offtopic but does someone know a way to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me!
@Liam Imran i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Enjoyed the video keep them comeing and 1all's pub it sure is nice to have brothers in Christ makeing videos and there is starting to be more Our brother Deano and several more all have a blessed day Randy.
Thanks for the vid! Have a large inkosi, umnunzaan s45 and now a sebenza 31 natural micarta inlay.. was wondering if my last purchase was a good one, is micarta my thing? Some days plain, some days micarta🤝
The inlay for the Lg Sebenza makes more sense because the length to width ratio. I would not have inlays on my small Sebenza though. Thanks to your review.
Hi Rob. Thank you for this video. I am currently contemplating my first CRK purchase and I found your presentation quite informative. I also see that you are a fellow lefty. May I ask if you think my wedding band being my knife gripping hand would make a difference regarding to inlay or not with the Sebenza 21. Thanks for sharing your time and experience.
Brian Sharp Great question! I actually wear my wedding band on my right hand on Sebenza days, just because it rubs the spine of the handle and causes polished spots in the blasted titanium. This effect might be reduced just a bit on the inlaid models, but it still happens. Regarding handle comfort while wearing a ring, it would definitely help a bit to have an inlaid model.
Thanks for the quick reply TheApostleP. Your answer confirms what I was thinking. If I Inlay, then it will most likely be micarta. For dress slacks do you find that the micarta grips too much to the material? I have a Mini Griptilian that I feel could snag the fabric on my slacks but not my jeans. Thanks again in advance.
Gee Rob... now you're making me want to get an inlaid Seb myself... no, wait.... ;-) Interesting take on the two different handle configs. I have yet to hold an inlaid Seb (that will change soon)... so I guess we'll see if I have a similar take on things. That said, the "velvety" adjective you used (which is spot on, BTW) really is one of my favorite aspects of the Sebenza. It has a calming worry-stone affect that I love (I pull it out of my pocket sometimes just to rub the Ti, LOL!), so I wonder if the inlays negation of that affect will be a downside for me (albeit a small one no doubt)? I do LOVE Micarta (how it feels, how it looks), but I also (as you know) have a soft spot for the wood inlaid Sebs as well... and I'm guessing the different feel of the wood texture and the satin finished frame flats will make for a very different tactile experience to the Micarta version (let alone the plain Ti version). We'll know in a few days! :) In the end, I have become such a HUGE fan of the basic Sebenza format that I suspect I (like you) won't be able to pick a fav either... which only means we get to enjoy them both! :)

Congrats on the 300 videos! I can't say I've watched all if them, but I've enjoyed every one that I have watched! Great job!

Time well spent I say & great to see these two hall of fame blades side by side.

Congratz on your 300th vid !
And yes..to inlay! Just feels awesome and changes the entire knife for me.
Good video. I got wood inlay to prevent scratches. My preference, God bless.
Wow, 300 already? I guess that time flies when you're having fun.
You betcha, biguy!
Funny lockup comments 7:44. Congrats on 300!
I had a large 21 for over a year and never truly fell in love. Maybe I need to try an umnumzaan or a small insingo . If I can find one!

The micarta is not excessively grippy on fabric. It won't bother you a bit.
Yeah buddy. A couple of my slippies have developed play. Going to attempt to clamp or vice tighten. I'll let you know....congrats on the 300! #sebbros

Searching voodoo in google isn't getting me anywhere haha
Wow Congrats on 300. I hope to have the problem of choosing between inlay or not to inlay some day.
Thanks, buddy! I'm sure you will :)
