Powernation needs to do a TH-cam poll that asks if the hosts should talk like normal people or talk like how they used to read the news in 1990. Good episode tho.
The business I worked for had a 65. It was in the shop more than on the road. So, the all wise boss bought another one. Now we had 1 in the shop and 1 on the road. Most of the time it was flip flopping trucks. They finally bought a 68 Ford. Sold both the Chevies. Ran it up to over 300K, the Ford, no major issues. Bought another Ford in 72 and it continued.
Flywheel bolts backing out on the 292 happens when the incorrect bolts are used or/and the bolts weren't torqued tight enough. That subject is covered in the Chevrolet inline six power book. Great video. Thanks for y'all's hard work.
Nice build. Years ago I had a 1966 GMC long bed fleetside and put a 1970 400 Pontiac engine with the turbo400 transmission and it was SURENUFF 🎉🎉🎉would be nice to have kept it 😂😂😂🎉🎉
Do like they did. Start with removing the bed and cab. Then restore the frame with modern suspension. Then continue on. These trucks can be very valuable depending on how good the restoration is and quality parts these days.
Could u do a 1994 95 Chevy blazer 5 speed swap using 5 speed from a Chevy obs truck me and my dad are trying to figure out if it will work or not we just don't want to waste money if it's not going to work
Right there at 15:56 mark you mentioned temperature of the air, yet you have the filtered intake right there INSIDE the engine room, is this the best idea for 'cool intake air' ?
How about leaving the shifter where it's supposed to be..if it ain't broke don't fix it. The truck probably didn't like being turned into an ghetto mobile. I would never do that to my 63 c 10 all original.

Turbo straight sixes are great. I have one in my jeep TJ. It pushes larger tires easily.
I've got a 1960 apache long bed stepside, AWSOME. got the ugly stock hood with the bow tie and the wide V, I call it Cecil.

Should have painted the intercooler and the pipes black.
More Katie.
I concur
13:23 She needs a raise 💰
Being a fan of the straight-six, you had me smiling with this build. Very fine work!
I like these videos 😎😎
Who dat? ... ... DAMN! 😉 0:22
Actually the new mopar hurican engine is a i6 twin turbos
Even 390 bbf 65 Ford f100 you can climb inside the engine bay on those trucks.
The C10 emblem on a 65 is only on the cowl panels, not on the fender. The ones on the fender are from a 64 model.
If Ford or Chevy offered this engine with turbo today,I'd buy it...
Re-post. Old video

I'm so sick of these infomercials
Why? Why? Why? Would you move the shifter off the column to the floor. Say bye to the charm of the truck.
