- Had a great 1 night staycation at the ginormous @jwmarriott San Antonio This resort is 15 minutes from the San Antonio International Airport and 30 minutes to downtown San Antonio. There were TONS of things to do that this video didn’t even highlight half of it!
I mean this isn’t your typical hotel. This place is a world luxury resort on 600 acres in north central San Antonio overlooking the Texas Hill Country. There are 1,002 hotel rooms and 288,000 feet of convention space. Thats not all there’s Lantana Spa on the premises.
Bring the family during the hot months because there’s a 9-acre water park called the River Bluff Water Experience on site with a 1,100 foot lazy river. Want some thrill? There are tube and body slides. There’s a limit to 5 water park wristbands per room. The water park closes at 10pm.
Wanna relax in luxury? Rent a pool side cabana they seat up to 8 guests offer shade and a fridge with water and a safe for your belongings.
Up for a morning or evening walk or run? There are scenic walking / jogging trails.
Up for a game of pickleball or basketball? They have courts for those as well.
Hungry? There’s seven spots to eat including High Velocity Sports Bar where I enjoyed the birrira nachos, handhelds and wings with my family. Oh yeah, can’t forget Cibolo Moon where I enjoyed the breakfast buffet with coffee. The staff everywhere are so friendly and attentive.

During my stay they were constructing the @valerotxopen PGA tournament, the third oldest PGA Tour tournament which starts April 4 - 7, 2024!
Okay let me tell you about the room. It’s comfortable and relaxing. There’s a desk to get work done. Enjoyed the relaxing balcony view whilst sipping a cold beverage. It surely was an experience I’ll never forget.
