    Have you stayed at the Arizona Biltmore? I walked around it but didn't stay there. That has nice architecture.

    Hi Chris. Very nice property for being 22 years old. Great amenities for the whole family to enjoy. I would stay there for $300 plus the resort fees, but not for $1000. Thanks for sharing and take care.

    Before even watching the video, but having stayed there before as a Staycation, definitely not worth $1K, but totally worth a Marriott Hotel certificate 😎

    Is the waterpark included in the resort fee? Or is it extra?

    We got to feed the hummingbirds in the garden during our stay! It was amazing.

      Can you give more detail on how you fed them. Do you mean they ate from your hand and what time of day was it.

    • @cassierudge5089

      The resort had hummingbird ring feeders and we were able to feed them all day. The hummingbirds come right up to you and feed from the ring.

    Lots of these resorts had $99 nights for locals during the summer when my kids were younger and they enjoyed the water parks. Now I just get on a plane and go wherever it’s cooler!

    I live about 5 minutes from there. I’ve never been there. Lol.
    Unless you really want that resort experience there are just tons and tons of other options for way less.

    The Phoenician looks like a much better property within a similar price range. Also you get a full breakfast as an elite benefit.

    Nice hotel, but I couldn't see myself spending $1,000 per night. A quick search of their rates in late July, and things are still $500 on up to "enjoy the weather" where the nighttime temperature might not even drop below 100. Remember, nothing is free during your stay. You've paid for it in the cost of everything else.

    • @livingthevacationlife
      @livingthevacationlife 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We've gone in June before, cash rates were in the $300s, sure not the best overall weather, but for Phoenix standards, it's quite nice once the sun sets and you can chill in the pool without burning your back 😎

  • @johndornoff
    @johndornoff 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    You can pay $200 a night and fry to a crisp when you walk outside (I know its a dry heat...), or you can pay outrageous amounts when the weather is better.

    • @YellowProductions
      @YellowProductions  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Since a big part of it is a Waterpark/Pool. That's perfect weather!

    Arizona is not always warm. In December January and February and even into March we can have days in the 50s and 60s with rain.

    Thanks for being honest with the "Cons", Chris. I think you may have some sort of agreement with Marriott and some YT channels are reluctant to say to much against a property they are in agreement with so I'm glad you were willing to be honest.

    The whole nickel and dime thing, charging u every little thing is very American! For so many years the asians and indians were called cheap, but such nickel and dime practice wont be seen in neither of these countries. So who is the cheapskate here now?

    • @jenw9463
      @jenw9463 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's gotten worse in the past 15 years. It's not even being a cheapskate, It's being greedy and creating more revenue streams from things that were once folded into your nightly rate.

    Goa in India has an amazing hotel industry with some really 'bests' out there. In near future can you take a trip to India and explore Taj, ITC and other chains? Btw, Alila Diwa and Grand Hyatt in Goa are fabulous, with St.Regis on a close second.

    I live 3 miles from this property, so I’m quite happy to choose the nightly rate of “free“ at my place. 😊 That said, I have walked around inside, and we used to go to the onsite Roy‘s years ago for happy hour, but they are no longer there.

    Hmmm how did that Waymo get up there? Waymo's don't go anywhere past like Shea? or so in scottsdale. According to their map, and every time I've tried to get one up there.
    Very curious! Maybe they're testing? Employees or beta testers hmmmmm.

    US higher end Marriotts seem to try and squeeze you for more $.
    I'm not a Resort person anyway. I just want a comfy bed and a shower too return to. 😂
