Nestled on 600 acres of the gorgeous Texas Hill Country, the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort is a luxurious oasis just a short drive from Austin. This sprawling resort has it all - from a five-acre water park to a world-class spa and championship golf courses. The Spanish colonial architecture and indigenous landscape create a unique sense of place, bringing the essence of Texas indoors.
During my stay, I was able to relax in my elegantly appointed room featuring premium bedding, a marble bath, and chic Hill Country-inspired décor. The resort offers a spa, a myriad of pools, several restaurants, plenty of activities for families and kids, like kayaking along the San Antonio River, stargazing with s'mores at the fire pit, and more. With its serene hillside setting, luxury amenities, and gracious service, the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort exceeded my expectations. It's the perfect place for Austinites like me to escape the city for a weekend of total pampering and relaxation.
