Hello Joel , your introduction is so touching. We can feel your sense of selfishness to cheer people up in this dark hours. Your work is a rare gem..value loaded. Love from Bhutan
Namgay I think you very much for a great comment, hope all is well with you today, I would absolutely love to visit Bhutan, I am sure you have heard of many people dreaming to visit your homeland, it must be a very special place
@@JoelsTastyRideIt is so exciting to hear from you 🤗 in fact it is an honour. And I am glad to see you guys doing fine...Thailand is doing great job. I am so happy to move back to my country after staying in Australia for 5 years. Yes, Bhutan is doing exemplary job especially during this pandemic...it is special. Right now, I am in hotel quarantine for 21 days and government bears the whole expenses. And your vlog is icing on the cake. Cheers🙏
Another great video and what a beautiful way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon with great company! Absolutely loved it when Chef said of her salad bowl “my entire garden in miniature form” ... her pride and passion for her craft shone right through!!! Thanks for bringing us along to enjoy with you. 🥰🥰🥰
Whoa Carli right on! And I have been blessed with a wonderful amount of meals with a wonderful amount of (moms and aunties) in Thailand!! Yes P'Boo is so FUN, weve gone to this restaurant 4 times I think already ;) haha....... for good reason!!
It's so good! Joonapekka man, good to see you, and YES, I think I really could be happy eating lunch here every single day. And I wont forget we went there together first! So for sure she would treat you very warmly as well!
Jonathan man, I don’t know what to say, it is my honor to feel like I am being a good example. I give glory to God for the experiences that I’ve had, I’ve learned from, very cool to have you here right with us
Your little word at the beggening, the music, the thought....put some water in my eyes. This intro was magical Joel ❤️ You understood everything. We, this community share that peaceful energy. You receive back everything you gave us . My English is so bad, hope you understand what I mean. Love you Jo-Li. Thank you for that video, it finish my day on that good moment. Good night 😴
Yes indeed, I am always impressed by his language skills, but WAY MORE rewarded by each and every comment - Jean Louis, I am the fortunate one to have such true and great support from YOU. and many like you!!!
Love and kindness can be felt regardless if it is not written in perfect English which none of us speak at all times. Your English is perfect in your comment. Continue to be kind and loving.
So good Jason man, haha, glad to have that chance to catch some fun on camera... good lunch, cool and happy friends, thank you for hanging out with us as well! God bless man, thanks for all the messages!
You are so welcome Sean, and honestly man, I cant believe how fortunate I am to be in this position, to be involved with this growing channel right now at all!!
You had me at bacon, pizza and coconut ice cream!!! Everything looked so vibrant, fresh and tasty!!! I’m glad to see farm to table establishments are gaining momentum everywhere. Li was a great sport for eating that sour fruit. What an awesome livestream yesterday. I’m glad I got to be a part of it. Love to you and Li. Have an amazing week 😄
Hiya Booswanger, hope your day is going well. I agree with you on the ice cream and bacon; meh on the pizza but if you substitute anchovies and hot peppers 🌶 🌶🌶 for the pineapple, I could join you for a slice, or 2 😋😋😋
what a combo!!!! Anchovies and hot pepper, haha you know what tho, if there was ever a dish that North America could give (and be instantly loved!) to Thailand, this is possibly the one!!!!! hahahah
Another ridiculously good comment (tasty 'good' is what I meant at first, but also heartfelt GOOD of course, thats true!!) This type of place is REALLY kicking off in Thailand, and its so great to see. The prices are going to be prohibitive though, but honestly thats the inevitable realization coming for us all - most of us no longer understand that high quality and wholesome, home grown clean food SHOULD cost much more than what we're used to paying... because we've been paying for what might be a 'fast food version' of most food, even of salad!!!, for decades. You are a necessary and ever-appreciated part of OUR livestream meet-ups. Another quality bit of fun in the books after yesterday! already looking forward to the next one...
God' blessings and mercy up you Joel and Li. I love that you are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Another great Saturday live was had. Have a great week ahead.
Wow. Max, I am not ashamed, but Im also just smiling and feeling lucky to have you saying things like this. The thought that came to my mind right now is to pray this prayer "God, of course life is easy, and even FUN when everything is easy and fun, so please be with me at all times and give me the strength to smile just as big, and trust you just as much, when times are not so fun and easy."
I would opt for the Pork Chop Steak, with out chillies, you and your friends shared a really good looking meal, I hope it was enjoyable to all, have a nice day !
Joel, I truly enjoy all your videos. You are a genuinely kind person and your videos really create inspiration to many who watch, myself included. My mother lives in Naan and I am hoping when the travel restrictions are less restrictive that I can one day meet up with you for a food tour. Keep up the wonderful videos, I really look forward to each new one. Cheers!!
Tom, awesome man, super cool you sharing about your mother living in Nan (one of the world's most lovely little places!!!), and let me know if you do take a trip to Nan, and Chiang Mai, it would be awesome to meet! Have a great day today, and a good week too!
A good way to encourage more farm to table food in the world and support the farmers who work hard to bring us healthy, fresh and nutritious food. Thanks Joel!
Man your words definitely put some hope in me today makes me realize important in life is enjoying the good moments good friends thank you man .keep like that thank for the videos you make .god blessed you
Wow. Carlos! Its a special message today man, thank you for taking the time to write! The reflections and responses are amazing, so thank you so much, I appreciate this a lot man! God bless. Hope this Monday is starting out just right!
Joel.. this is an awesome video. You inspired me every time I watch your video. God blessed you and Li. My dad is a Buddhist monk here in the US..I came to the US when I was very young, I didn’t know a lot about my Laos culture until I watch you and Mark., you two really inspired me about foods and my own culture. Thank you again for all you do. Love Ya!!!
Oh wow, Saeng, great message, 2 messages today! What an experience, I cant even believe this really, thats so amazing. And how lucky are (we) to share with YOU these roots of your beautiful culture in Laos. I also cannot wait for the next chance to visit Laos, what a wonderful and special place.

Tasty food and great videos. Must be a Bru Productions :) have a great week you both. I enjoyed the livestream was personal and down to earth. Stay safe everyone!
Brett, hope ALL is going well, happy Monday to you today and hope all is well :) Thanks for the cool message today, it really was a great one yesterday. Felt comfortable! Like I was among friends.
Thanks so much Scott man, ALOHA, and Mahalo, and actually if you would be so kind as to teach me 1 new word per work (teach all of us!), I would love that.
I’ve never asked how much you speak, how much you use it in your daily life, but I guess any word that is useful to me is only going to be the most basic of words :) Next week, how about “how are you?” Or “what’s up?” If that’s more common
Hi Joel, Li, and new friends!! What a beautiful video, this is truly farm to table! I love the freshness and the healthy prep of the Ingredients. The Cesar salad looks delish! And Li, you looked like you really enjoyed it! The fruit at the end is so so neat! Thank you for sharing your time, love if food, and genuine happiness with us all 😁 ps Li! You need to make an emjoji of yourself too!! :) I. Going to go make a Cesar salad now.. hehe
Youre amazing Loulieu, hope all is starting out beautifully this week, Happy Monday :) I think I could eat this exact meal every lunch (I would have to go for a big ride in the morning but...) it is just wholesome and wonderful, full of both fun and flavor, AND the best of course is P'Boo just running back and forth bringing all the little things she's proud to share from the garden. Just incredible. Glad to have you here, happy to see you watching and smiling today :) :)
i know Im randomly asking but does anyone know of a tool to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost the login password. I love any tricks you can offer me!
Yum! Everything looks so delicious. I wish I was there to sample every bite! I loved eating fresh tomatoes and especially cherry tomatoes, they are my favourite. I could just eat a big bowl of cherry tomatoes for a meal. Hopefully, someday I could go to this cafe. Thanks Joel and Li for sharing. It's a great video!
Hiiii Tan!!! Big cheers to the cherry tomatoes would love to share some with you someday, thanks for the greetings to Lee, and thank you so much for joining us today for this video. A really cool place, I would go here every day if I could
Abigail!!! Wow, another throwback, oh man now I miss this restaurant! They really had some great stuff going on... these were our first days of livestream by the way, just a few months before this video :) :)
@@JoelsTastyRide that's cool it seems I have watched the entire catalogue😄 enjoyed every bit of it and still enjoying exploring with you and Yan Lan.❤️
Happy birthday! Alton wow, thats awesome! Hey hey, really, happy Birthday, and Alton I can share with you something very cool today - I have only watched 1 other person on livestream, my friend Jair Canada, and yesterday was #2 - Max! Ive talked with Max in messages before, but never watched his live stuff... and the first name I saw was You!!! So cool haha, I remembered immediately, so that was fun :). hope youre doing well, and again, Happy Happy Birthday! Hope this year brings wisdom to you, and feelings of maturity and confidence! Blessings and love Alton - Happy Birthday!
I appreciate the time you take to write as well JC, and thanks for the blessings and love to my family as well. Hope today is going GREAT, God bless, happy Tuesday to you!
Thanks again for an awesome experience, first because it’s so fresh in my mind I must say that when Li was going to try the sour fruit on its own that twinge in the back of my jaw started lol so I definitely see where Li was coming from lol 😖 All those dishes looked so amazing and refreshing, salads are one of my all time favs people always find it odd that I can have salad as a single meal but I find all the different textures and tastes of greens and veggies so awesome. Like spinach when it’s fresh is fleshy and has a meaty kinda salty flavor I just love salads. Oh and tomatoes are a treat I buy cherry tomatoes all the time to snack on 🙃🙃 thank you for allowing us all to see the care the owner takes in providing fresh and healthy meals to people. You and Li are true Gems be blessed
Nooo wayyyy hahaha what a response :-)! Thank you for sharing this, and very appropriate and good comment about the texture opportunities in a salad. Very few other foods can match purely in terms of this, and I think both you and I agree that texture he’s one of the most important parts of a food :-) definitely a fun food ha ha, and it’s such a blessing that it is usually raw food, therefore the most healthy! That does hold a lot of fun texture in a human diet. Blessings and hugs from both of us Jennifer, I hope you’re having a beautiful day, spinach cheers to you ha ha :-) yes yes eat that spinach :-) I read a previous study that found kale to be number one, and spinach to be number two, the two most singularly healthy foods on the entire planet!! :) So that’s great news if you already love one or both!! :-)
what a great fusion feast you guys had, plenty of fresh ingredients. and those tiny chillis can sure grow hair on your chest, kudos to you guys. miracle fruit is amazing, personally haven't try it myself but seen people have that and later eat entire lemon (skin included). what a great way to spend the weekend.
Hi hi, I am laughing about the hairs on the chest comment… I guess so :-) it was a great day, the freshness above all else for this meal is so appreciated. I got to take your advice find another miracle fruit and then try a lemon like that :-) but I’m sure it will work because the small green fruit is epically shower as well. Have a beautiful day, thanks for a good comment, hope all is well with you this week so far
i like your opener... definitely life should get better with this crazy virus going around... most important is when there is Food there will always be peace... Happy Sunday Joel and Li!!!!
Eugeniooooooo YO! Hey I hope all is going well today, haha actually its Tuesday for me already! But no, I was a few hours late to respond to this... I like your words right there, yes theres some sense of peace and understanding through food. No matter the language, we all seem to understand this
Hi Joel and Li! Thank you so much for sharing your Sunday evening with us. I really love this restaurant and Auntie, and what great guests you had today. Every time I get a notification from you or someone in the BruCrew, I automatically feel happier and excited. This is such a wonderful community that I consider myself lucky to be a small part of. Have a great week everyone 💗
Our pleasure! Haha Carli I am laughing at the words that I just wrote, "our pleasure," I can add our EXTREME and WONDERFUL pleasure, the amount of cheers and inspiration and the sheer amount of energy you all give to me is incredible. Beyond belief. And so wonderful how it never ends!!!!!!!
Happy Monday to you, and I am already thinking (not joking at all) what to do for the next livestream, hahaha they are a highlight of all of our weeks and Im so lucky to be right there too!
Awesome! Thank you! Azure wow, I wonder how many people have listened to that full interview... I felt honored to be contacted by both of those cool guys that day, thank you for the response to that :) and then, awesome you giving some love to P'Boo, you were there for that livestream too :). thats awesome!!! Building memories together like this is what really makes me feel lucky. I am so happy to have you here, in this community, thanks for an awesome message today Azure!!!!
Saibaidee Joel and Li! P'Boo is so cool! Farang hugging Laos is hilarious. Bacon cheers to whoever made that name. Haha. Fruit thums are the best especially with fresh fruit. My dad would make thums with green apples or grapes from the backyard. Sorry I couldn't make it to the live stream. Hopefully next weekend when im not working.
So cool! Sonexay, thanks for the 2 comments today man, wow. Hey no problem about the livestream, I know they are late at night, BUT, also cheers for you thinking of us, hope everything was all good at work. Your dad is a genius by the way, dont know if Ive had a green apple tham but wow, totally right on with the flavor target, flavor profile for sure!!!
“Count your blessings, not your problems” - LOVE This! Thanks to Roy for sharing such a wonderful reminder to enjoy life. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼 Once again, another fantastic video filled with food and friends 🌼🌸🌼🌸🌼🌸
My favorite Li face and noise she makes when eating something sour or spicy 33:40😝. The dishes so yummy looking and fresh. And that Amazing fruit is definitely amazing if it can make that sour fruit taste like sweet strawberry 🍓😋. How fun was that?! Really nice couple and awesome video as always! Love and blessings Joel and Li 💗🙏.
🤗 Yoooooooo Tiare :) :) :) :) :) :) Well, hahah I cant help but say "you and me both." Li is just.... the girl of one billion cutenesses. I have always thought that from the first few minutes I ever talked to her. Do you know this or know OF this miracle fruit? Ive heard the name once or twice, but never had the chance to eat, and NEVER had the chance to experience this crazy transition of flavors! It really was a flavor 'miracle!!' wow I hope youre having a BEAUTIFUL Monday Tiare :). Much love to you and your son and (I know you have other children
@@JoelsTastyRide to answer your question...no I've never ever heard of this miracle fruit. It really is amazing though! I will let the kids know that Uncle Joel sends his blessings ❤️. Right back at ya little brother 🙏💓.
Joel, I've been to Thailand 5 times since 1988, and am planning to get a retirement visa to finally be able to spend months and years, and not mere weeks there. I've been dreaming of living in Thailand since about 1990. Rest assured that your videos, as well as Mark's, inspire me to keep up my process in moving toward experiencing a life over there.
This is awesome :-) glad to hear it hey glad you are keeping your dream alive. All the best and good luck to being able to visit for months even years and not only weeks as you have said yourself. Thank you for the support and thanks for a cool message today. Hope you’re doing well!! Cheers Rhizomorph!
Wow on the Cheese twice a year. Alfredo Pasta is a favorite of everyone in my family. We have Pizza Crust Mix on the shelf and a fridge full of cheese. We have a couple of frozen pizzas, and we eat Little Ceasars Pizza with cheese all the time. Grilled Cheese sandwiches with garlic in the butter on the outsidei we love to eat, or even quesidallas with sour cream and salsa. We eat cheese on our salads, often add it on top of the spaghetti. We eat cheese so often that I cannot even imagine not having it. We used to have mac n cheese all the time cooked with cut up hot dogs in it which I still love so much. We even often add sour cream, bacon, onions, and cheese to our potatoes. How different your life is than ours. That is so interesting to me. We love seeing all the healthy food that you the place you eat offer. the mango looked amazing. Mango is one of my favorites and we rarely eat it. We have Banana Pudding with bananas in it and vanilla wafers for my hubby for dessert. No wander you are all so healthy. Your meal looked amazing. Thank you all for sharing this with us. The fruit at the end was interesting.
Sharon WOW, such details!!!! And, such cheese, haha such love for cheese! Actually not just in SE Asia though, actually growing up in East Africa we did not eat much cheese either. Its just not the best food for warm climates (needs refrigeration). HOWEVER Central Asia might consume as much cheese as anywhere! Mongolia as well, they would not survive without cheese... so interesting the history!
Reg! Thank you thank you, yes I am lucky to be here, teaching in the countryside and working part time on this channel, now finally able to make these videos full time! Thanks for your support, thanks for everything man!
That place looks delicious. I am sorry we didn't meet up. I was in KK on standby in a hotel Sat just in case but the only way I had to reach out was by commenting on your other video. Sorry man but great video and looks delicious. I have never been there and excited to try it.
Robeeeeeeeeeert hey man, shoot man I’m so sorry, I use the email attached to this TH-cam channel (in the “About” tab), but it was my mistake to assume you would know the email already (I say it on the livestream every weekend). I am sorry, that was my fault! I will make it up to you. I will pass through Chumphae on Thursday, driving to ChiangMai. Would you like to have coffee at the PTT out on the main road? The email is joelbrunervlogs@gmail.com
Awesome video Joel and Li ❤️🙏. Lovely and inspiring intro. I would happily just eat bowls full of those baby tomatoes with that bright bowl of salad. Hold the dressing for me lol. I'm a balsamic vinegar girl, not fond of creamy dressing. I think dinner tonight will be supper salad with plenty of greens and some fruit, boiled egg and perhaps a few bits of crispy bacon yummy. That style of pizza with ham and pineapple is popular in South Africa. We also add peppers. Sometimes we have bacon and banana pizza. Stay safe and be blessed ❤️
Odette!!! Wow. Another AMAZING time yesterday talking and laughing and learning... that was too cool. I love reading about all your experience with food, even simple ingredients can make the most amazing recipes! You have so much to share, I am very happy you found this channel
@@JoelsTastyRide thank you ❤️. It's a blessing to have found your channel and your wonderful fiance Li. Brings me joy to share food knowledge. It's always been my passion. I do it for love not money and far too shy to vlog 🤣. Even sending a voice note to Li yesterday to teach you the phonetics of the Afrikaans language made me get a frog in my throat 🤣🤣🤣 You absolutely must try bacon and banana pizza. It's delicious but you must add some chillies! The heat with the sweetness of banana and salty fatty bacon is the best combo!
@@JoelsTastyRide I'm passionate about many things. Herbal medicine, food and the health benefits our diet alone can provide. Preservation of foods, reducing food waste by using every part of the animal or produce. Salvaging foods that get thrown out when they are definitely not rotten. Animal welfare , writing etc. I've written a book but not likely to share it anytime soon. It's an ongoing project meant to be found one day when I'm no longer around. Sounds silly but I basically blogged my life and left a few things behind for my children and grandchildren when I'm no longer here. Perhaps they will appreciate the time and effort I put into learning about what matters most in life. Be blessed and much love 💕
Again I just appreciate it so much, OK when I see her I will ask her to share this with me :-) I really do want to learn at least one sentence of every language that I ever come across. Thank you for doing me that honor, I love it :):)
So good! and we appreciate the double comment Erik, really cool - happy to see you enjoying AND learning, thats so awesome! What dish did you pick :) ????
Kudos to Li for being a good sport...those fruits are really sour & when she said she could already feel her jaws hurting before taking a bite, I knew exactly what she meant 😂. And that Pizza looked simply perfect...you could see the pride & love that went into preparing the food! ❤️
Yes, thank you V, haha, thanks for the smile but also thanks for joining right there with us :) cheers on the Pizza by the way, and most of all - thanks for giving the credit where it is due - the chef team took care of us SO well, thank you very much for acknowledging this

Great food Joel. I wish to be there soon. Got my first dose of Pfizer vaccine this week. Thank you for sharing your life of Esan people. Regards from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Jlomaus!!!!! Greetings and a hug and a BIKE cheers today, SUPER cool to see your message :) :) Where are you happy to go out riding these days? Im sure its not as warm as you would like, but Im so happy to hear about you excited to get out (great energy in your message today, thank you so much)
@@JoelsTastyRide true not as warm in AZ as I like too but still great weather. It’s in the dessert after all. And just getting out going for a run or a quick bike ride help your mood so much. Thanks for the reply. Stay healthy my friend!
Thank you thank you :-) we have been blessed with a bit of rain, it was over 40 C for many days in a row before that… I am heading south next, very excited for this adventure. Hey, are we friends on Strava?
Thank you Joel and Li for another great video. Your videos are inspiring me to grow new herbs in my summer garden. Do you have a favorite herb that you eat with meals?
Bridget, wow what a cool message!! PLEASE send a photo or share the produce of this summer plan with me, thats awesome :) :) I would say fresh mint is always a winner, but then for purely local leaves/herbs I like the "Climbing Wattle" and the "Elephant Ear." Both have funny names in English, I never knew them before coming here, but now I LOVE finding both of them at local restaurants.
Last year I started a container garden. I grew peppers, sweet basil, thyme, parsley, tomatoes, lemons, and mint. I believe my mint is starting to grow back now. I’m going to try eating it fresh this summer. I usually put it in tea. The weather in Ohio isn’t consistently warm enough to begin planting new herbs yet. This year I plan to add Thai basil to the list. I don’t believe the herbs you love are available in Ohio, due to the growth zone. I’ll look when the garden store begins stocking herbs this spring.
I love watching your live streams, unfortunately as they start most of the time around 3AM local Belgian time, I'm unfortunately unable to participate often... Got your "normal videos" to watch so not too bad! ;-D Keep rocking Captain Bruner!
Oh maaaaaaan Z :) Definitely wondered if you were going to show up on the most recent live stream, I love your name and you always have a good energy, I appreciate you writing this and I promise that when I finally move to a house, which is going to be in about six weeks, we can do two Livestreams per week, and they are going to be 12 hours apart, So that those of you in Europe are not always consistently having to wake up at 2 AM to hang out :-)
Working on it! Fungai, thats super cool to hear it, the reminder, the willingness to support - amazing! Just bought a 2nd round a few days ago, the 1st round took about 4 months to process totally so... we are being patient :)
I know this is an old video and I’m late in the game but THANK you for your words of wisdom, your kindness and you sharing your life and travel and good vines with us. GOD Bless

What a coincidence. I saw you eating those sour star fruit cousins that I've never seen. Then I went to eat lunch and some guy stopped by to bring some to the restaurant. They let me try it. It was really good! Crunchy, sour, but also sweet! 😋
No way! HAHA. Joonapekka thats like, 4 coincidences in a row! (Im going for #5 then with this one... is there some chance that Meow was suddenly transferred to Chiang Mai? starting next month?!?!?)
because you and I could then immediately start a new channel of "two smiling goofballs on the lookout for coffee, durian, and chilis!" while their wives look on in perpetual disbelief.
It should have happened hahah, your advice is great, I wish I would have thought of it... thanks for joining us and thanks for the 2 comments today :) :) Much love Suzanne! Have a great day

Yay, new friends on here! And such cute avo shirts! 🥑😍 This restaurant looks so amazing, and love the sweet auntie who runs it 💗 Omg that ice cream with sticky rice inside??? Ahhh!!! 🤤🤤 Ohhh the bilimbi (I know it as 'kamias')! My grandma had a kamias tree that was always bursting with huge, fat fruit; I ate a lot of those, lol. I've only had miracle fruit in tablet form, but it really was amazing how it worked!! 🤩 Awww Li didn't have a strawberry moment, and we know how she loves them!! Also had massive internal puckering watching you guys just chomp into the kamias; can't forget how juicy and sour those are 😂😂 Thank you for showcasing all of this gorgeous food, I can aaaalmost taste it...!! 💖🌞💖
Betsy, what a comment... well received, haha, and Im already laughing looking down below to see if Booswanger has joined in on this... and she has!!!!!
About 48 years ago we moved into a house in SoCal, when oranges were still big is Southern California. We had a very old tall orange tree next to the drive way that could barely make leaves. My mom plants cherry tomato plants at the base of the tree and they love climbing the branches. I had as many cherry tomatoes as I could eat every summer from then on. There is nothing like summer fresh off the stem cherry tomatoes in the heat of summer. There is nothing like fresh tomatoes in the hand...a cherry tomatoe orange tree.
Oh man, Vance!! What a story and what a great memory, wow. That is just the most FULL blessing of nature right there, and you can carry this with you for years as well (do you still grow anything like this??). Ok, and finally, for the cherry tomato orange tree, is this the name of a species that you grew? Wow. That sounds amazing, whether its 2 trees or just 1!
@@JoelsTastyRide Just a combo of symbiotic relationship from an orange tree that lets a lot of light through to a climbing vine tomato that enjoys the living trellis.

Whoa Carli right on! And I have been blessed with a wonderful amount of meals with a wonderful amount of (moms and aunties) in Thailand!! Yes P'Boo is so FUN, weve gone to this restaurant 4 times I think already ;) haha....... for good reason!!
That steak... With that dip... I need to go back there and try this! 🤤
It's so good! Joonapekka man, good to see you, and YES, I think I really could be happy eating lunch here every single day. And I wont forget we went there together first! So for sure she would treat you very warmly as well!
The world would be a much better place if there were more people like Joel !
Jonathan man, I don’t know what to say, it is my honor to feel like I am being a good example. I give glory to God for the experiences that I’ve had, I’ve learned from, very cool to have you here right with us
Thanks for the reply Joel. I’ve been a fan of you and Mark for years....
Stay blessed bro and keep doing you !
I agreed ❤️
Commenting even before watching 😋🥰
Have a beautiful Monday! I see you have commented not just once but... haha 10 times:) ????
Your little word at the beggening, the music, the thought....put some water in my eyes. This intro was magical Joel ❤️ You understood everything. We, this community share that peaceful energy. You receive back everything you gave us . My English is so bad, hope you understand what I mean. Love you Jo-Li. Thank you for that video, it finish my day on that good moment. Good night 😴
Love you back ❤️🥳
Jean Louis, your English is great, and I agree with you!
Always a great time with good food and friends. Li’s face with the sour fruit was priceless funny. God bless.
So good Jason man, haha, glad to have that chance to catch some fun on camera... good lunch, cool and happy friends, thank you for hanging out with us as well!
God bless man, thanks for all the messages!
Thank you. Your opening was amazing. 🙏
Anchovies and hot pepper, haha you know what tho, if there was ever a dish that North America could give (and be instantly loved!) to Thailand, this is possibly the one!!!!! hahahah
Another ridiculously good comment (tasty 'good' is what I meant at first, but also heartfelt GOOD of course, thats true!!)
This type of place is REALLY kicking off in Thailand, and its so great to see.
Great meal and that miracle fruit is remarkable. I didn't know about that. Great scoop! Thanx!
Joel,
I love the positive energy you bring to this platform. It's just what the world needs a little more of these days.

Love and blessings to you on this bright and beautiful Sunday Max, and may the week ahead be a great one for you 🥰🥰🥰🌈🌈🌈

@@JoelsTastyRide which word would you like to learn
I’ve never asked how much you speak, how much you use it in your daily life, but I guess any word that is useful to me is only going to be the most basic of words :)
Next week, how about “how are you?” Or “what’s up?” If that’s more common

I think I could eat this exact meal every lunch (I would have to go for a big ride in the morning but...) it is just wholesome and wonderful, full of both fun and flavor, AND the best of course is P'Boo just running back and forth bringing all the little things she's proud to share from the garden. Just incredible.

Joel, I've been to Thailand 5 times since 1988, and am planning to get a retirement visa to finally be able to spend months and years, and not mere weeks there.
THANKYOU ALWAYS

I will pass through Chumphae on Thursday, driving to ChiangMai. Would
you like to have coffee at the PTT out on the main road?

Thank you Joel and Li for another great video. Your videos are inspiring me to grow new herbs in my summer garden. Do you have a favorite herb that you eat with meals?
Bridget, wow what a cool message!! PLEASE send a photo or share the produce of this summer plan with me, thats awesome :) :)
I would say fresh mint is always a winner, but then for purely local leaves/herbs I like the "Climbing Wattle" and the "Elephant Ear." Both have funny names in English, I never knew them before coming here, but now I LOVE finding both of them at local restaurants.
Hey, Joel. I love your t-shirt. Did you know that with a bicycle the human is the most energy-efficient being on the planet? Even more than a condor.

Now I'm living in Spain with new dreams and challenges, it's very hard to start again from the beginning, but it's a very deep feeling to be free once again. Your videos give calm to my soul and hope to my heart. God bless you.

(Im going for #5 then with this one... is there some chance that Meow was suddenly transferred to Chiang Mai? starting next month?!?!?)
because you and I could then immediately start a new channel of
"two smiling goofballs on the lookout for coffee, durian, and chilis!" while their wives look on in perpetual disbelief.
Wow! 美味しそう! Very delicious!
Yoooooo CaliDoll :) :)

It would be fun to try miracle berries. Very nice couple, and chef. Do you think the miracle berry would work on hot peppers?
It should have happened hahah, your advice is great, I wish I would have thought of it...
thanks for joining us and thanks for the 2 comments today :) :) Much love Suzanne! Have a great day
That amazing fruit truly is amazing. so cool. Did Li ever get one of the amazing fruits so she could enjoy it better?
There is a so good course of cycling along the coast and so many spices that would be amazing you I bet. Try it later when the situation allows
True!! Very true, and hey what better reasons to ride, haha :)
Nice intro. The food looks amazing, yamy and fresch to, and you are positiv, tankfull, happy off smal thinks as allways, and that is the right way in life😋 🙏🌹🍀❤️Love your positiv, yamy videos allways, love Thailand to 🙏🍀🌹🤗❤️👍Big hugs to you and Li 🙏🍀🌼🌹❤️🤗👍
Blessings!!!
Thank you, thank you!! Wish to go to Laos when all this COVID is over with..

Joel, you are incredibly sweet and gentle! Much success to you and your lovely wife...and a life filled with love, joy and yummies!
Thank you so much! Cecilia wow what a cool message, and WHAT a COOL blessing!!!!
