Native New Yorker Noah Emmerich plays FBI Agent Stan Beeman who's hot on the trail of an everyday suburban couple who happen to be KGB spies. Emmerich joins us on The Couch to chat about the hit series and celebrate his birthday with some of his favorite NYC pizza.

Noah is such a superb actor but I feel he's been a little underrated. He has given the character "Stan Beeman" such depth on the show and makes you feel for the guy. He gives off a lot with such subtle acting. He's been great along with the 2 leads on the show The Americans.
I think most of the actors in the Americans have been underrated.
His performances are so nuanced in everything he does. He has the perfect balance of intelligence and almost child like vulnerability. I will watch anything he does.
My favorite character on the show.
The older he gets, the more attractive he becomes. I remember him on White Collar, and I was like 'Eh.' And I'm not just talking about his physical, but his talent as well. He is more mature now, acting wise. More in-depth with his character he plays.
Noah Emmerich is my friend :) He is so nice and just had a baby Eva!

Just finished The Americans. How is Noah Emmerich not more famous? Stan was easily my favorite character by the end of the series.

Agent Stan Beeman took something from me away & I can't be thankful enough for that. He rocks & I simply loved his portrayal. Amongst the best characters ever played on screen! Take a bow Noah!!
