Weird thing is, this is one of the few cards that was even worse in the anime. There was no counter mechanic with Zushin in the anime, you had to keep a level 1 normal monster on the field for 10 turns. Imagine the hoops you have to jump through to accomplish that.

I absolutely love that the real life Zushin card is a perfect recreation of the one in 5Ds, right down to almost no one using it because it's so difficult to summon.
The fact that its a N tier card even tho it is pretty much unbeatable in 99% cases just because it was a card everyone had in the anime is also lowkey god tier humor from konami

Yes, as long you use Reload or Magical Mallet and redraw any of the the Zushin you can redo the once per turn clause. Just have to protect the counter monsters beforehand.
