I fully respect the fact that Alan goes through with the narrative that he was a villain/abuser to sentient/sapient stickmen for "a long time" in total even after redeeming himself. It can be very easy to portray yourself as a benevolent figure in your own story, but Alan retroactively added more crimes on his list for the sake of the story and the explanations. Not only that, but the effort to create natural consequences and motivations for the actions of Alan, Victim, TCO, and TDL in a non-verbal story is impressive as ever.

It also adds a *LOT* of moral gray areas to the story; no one (except for Dark, and even *he's* still got the tiniest chance of redemption if he's still alive) is doing what they're doing for no reason, it's because they were hurt by a very, *very* long chain reaction of the consequences of everyone's actions, and it's the people who are trying to break out of that cycle instead of remaining in it that separates the protagonists from the antagonists.
For a moment during the first scenes, I got so immersed that I went "Why would any sane animator or creator DO that, are they frickin sadistic, Jesus Christ" . . . And then I immediately remembered the lore I give to dozens of my own OCs and went "Ehh yep _we're_ pretty sadistic our hands are not clean" I relate with Alan's smug smile during this reaction. It's only painful when bad things happen to someone _else's_ OCs.

A Fridged death is one that is kinda pointless and doesn’t have much effect on the narrative while a well written one has an impact which is long lasting and pays respect to the character that was killed off. I know I’m being technical but can’t really help it. Fridging is usually used to refer to character deaths which are poorly done (think of the comic book girlfriends who appear, die, and then are never mentioned again) and is mainly used to call out bad writing to my knowledge. Mitsi’s death doesn’t seem to have those hallmarks so as a writer I don’t consider her death Fridging, but I guess that is just my opinion.
Tbh, is it that bad to fridge characters, at least in this case? It's not like Alan presented her as a currently alive character that would make you wonder what will happen with them, only to kill them off for cheap emotional stakes. Mitsy has been dead from the very beginning, and it's her death what jumpstarts the plot. Besides, Mitsy was also important to make us further empathize with Victim, since she was an important part of him redoing his life. Otherwise what would be the alternative? Just make her a non-character, a shade that's on the background, and just tell us that Victim had a loved one that died without further elaborating?

Watching AVM/AVA is always a 2 step process. 1. Watch it regularly 2. Watch AVG watch it and if you want, you can add another step in between them. Which is: cry.
The fact that most of the villains were victims of young Alan. The Chosen one: a stickman which was tortured like victim but he broke out, later on he joined the good side after realising TDL was the villain. The Dark Lord: a stickman made to terminate TCO but broke out with TCO to make chaos around the websites, later on getting killed by TSC. Victim: tortured for years, escaped and made a new world, once the newgrounds website got attacked he saw the bad side of TCO which made him hate Alan more once he realised TCO and Alan worked together Purple: since we saw his family witness the Accident of Newgrounds, maybe his dad wanted for Purple to become stronger, which led to his trauma and past abuse make him another broken villain like TCO, and later on joining the good side. Also another theory about TSC powers. Power of creation: since we saw green particles creating the new stickman, just like how we saw him reviving back his friends which got deleted by TDL, maybe if he figured out how to use his powers he could ressurect back Mitsi after Victim would force him to do so after he saw the green particles around TSC from the memory card of TCO.
Im not sure if Victim will connect dots of color and TSC but if he watches rest of memory he will sure try his hand. I personnaly think TSC also need data cuz he went out of his way to go to computer but im not sure.

@danielc2894 In 2011, Newgrounds was severely broken and unusable because of Adobe Flash Player being discontinued, and I guess TDL's rampage was supposed to be the metaphor for that. Now Newgrounds uses an Adobe Flash emulator called "Ruffle".
This episode was perfectly written. I genuinely am rooting for victim at this point, everything he went through since 2006. Also I don’t know how, but even without dialogue, you’ve made Mitsi an adorable character for the community to adore and love, despite the outcome. The fact that his very first animation shows us how much Alan has changed going into present day. I was born around that year and looking at this today, I could just see how animators would randomly beat up characters they create over apps like illustrator or other online painting tools, similar to how ragdoll physics works now. Dont stop making animations Alan. Your work is a storyboard come to life.

in the area where the last few episodes of AvA took place, if a stick figure that has connections to newgrounds gets killed there, they will then reform in newgrounds. if you're from newgrounds and you get killed there, you're dead. at least, I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

@LlamuOr, it maybe that TDL was actually the one to hit Mitsi, and TCO was just nearby. Note that at absolutely NO point, does TDL _EVER_ appear to either Victim or Agent's vision. It seems oddly convenient that TDL doesn't appear in any way to Victim or Agent... Almost like TDL was actually responsible.
And it's fun pointing out the small details on the second watch, too. The sheep initally afraid of victim, the rocket thrusters made of animation frames, and spotting purples parents at the company sign up booth.
Can I just say that the range of my emotions while watching this video was intense. I was sobbing in the first 2 minutes, then overjoyed for the middle, and once again crying at the end. This was insanely good! Looking forward to the next video!!!!!
King orange's backstory- the world took my aon from me so im going to punish everyone Victim's backstory- i found out that the murderer of all of my family and friends AND the creture who tortured me for months endlessly teamed up, and now for my and everyone else's sake im trying to stop them both. The world made king orange the villian. The world is the villian that victim tries to stop.
Hear me out; what if TSC can bring back Mitsi? He was able to revive his friends after the Dark Lord killed them; maybe he can use his powers to do the same? It might be a way to end the conflict, plus Victim deserves a win after all that's happened to him.

I JUSt noticed. When victim is looking at agents memories, the scene where we see TCO, the fire he's using to hover lines up perfectly with Victims eyes. Talk about attenion to detail.
I like how it represents that basically from our oc's perspective we can be the villains in their stories since we basically torture them And we give them tragic stories and terrible pasts just for fun and when we get bored we just abandon them or delete them to make another one.
When you see the prospective of victim you can see that tco was definitely a little darker with his actions than when it was his prospective on the newgrounds raid
I actually felt bad for him when I first saw the animation tbh, I always knew he came back for revenge but dude the episode release just made my theory stronger-
Alan is the embodiment of our sadistic nature of creating OC lore, it's displayed so brilliantly it's actually so relatable lmao And I'm saying this as someone who made 5 different OCs all with ridiculous backstories that were mostly tragedies behind anger/revenge/inner rage I also wanna highlight Victim and Mitsi's sequence of helping the locals, the style and the soundtrack is very reminiscent of when I first watched Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, it just works perfectly to tell the whole narrative in how Victim got all of what he has now.

You can see green particles appear when an animation is "born". Those same particles appear when TSC uses his powers and resurrection his friends. Maybe he can resurrect Mitsi.

I don't think so. How could the emotional scene happen in the middle of a battle. I think Purple will tell about it at some point and the stick figures will realize who Chosen really was.
So roughly the timeline is: 2006 June 3rd = Victim gets created 2007 March 15th = He escapes and found rocket co. with mitsi in same year 2007 May 15th = TCO gets created(couldnt find real date and took video date) 2011 October 2th = TDL gets created and both he and TCO escapes from Alan PC 2011 founding day of rocket co. = Mitsi dies by TCO 2014 October 2nd = TSC gets created and Alan agrees to live with stickfigures in peace 2018 Auguts 18th = AvA 8 happens(TCO gives up doing evil and TSC defeats TDL). Victim finds TCO also Alan cursor worked together(at his perspective) and starts working on his plan for revenge 2023 April 29th = TCO and TSC gets abducted So TCO spent 4 years in Alan pc, he and TDL spent 7 years wreaking havoc around, Alan didnt create(known) stickfigure for 3 years. Also Victim waited 5 year to start his revenge for real. Just woah.

I really like how they all have different framerates, with the sharp stick people having lower framerates because they were animated with less frames in between
There is a good chance that TCO was trying to save Mitsi from TDL but was too late because it was foreshadowed that he was beginning to undermine his schemes around the time they went to newsgrounds, TDL can't possibly have known if he did save the netizens due to all the smoke but it would make him suspicious if he openly defied him with more potential destruction as retaliation. Also it would make more sense if it was a misperception rather than him attacking Mitsi because it adds more conflict in the story on who is actually more 'right' in their goals, and it further illustrates the foil between TCO and victim, the former began using his powers and abilities for destruction upon freedom and then realised he can do better by first redeeming himself (finding his way and working with his past victims after fighting against TDL) and to refrain from using his powers on those he considers incapable of defending themselves against; whereas Victim struggled coping with his past and slowly came over it by building a new life by revolutionising new technology and helping the community, however his past can't get enough of him so he has to be a victim of suffering again indirectly (in this instance) caused by Alan, he then relapses and descends into a spiral of vengeance, drawing wild conclusions that would make him seem mad, and develops tools and weaponry to (impliedly) brutalise other stickmen in order to test his arsenal for the capture of TCO, his (perceived) nemesis.
So, the hole Agent escapes the chaos from looks exactly like the portals Chosen One uses, so my theory is that Chosen One went behind Dark Lord's back to give people an escape route.
The portal isn't Chosens power though. That's just what it looks like to have holes torn between PCs and websites. It wasn't something he casually knew how to do until after he fought the Virabot (prior to that, it took literally everything he had to break into Alan's PC.
@@DLxxx It was probably a firewall, hence the 'wall' blocking him from accessing the pc and him needing actual firepower to brute force his way through. It was either a 'backdoor' or a great deal of force is needed to open a passage.
Watching the video back, while it's not clear where his ship landed, the hole might have formed when Victim's ship broke through Newgrounds and into the stick world, perhaps? 6:33

It’s a representation of how we don’t think about the consequences of our actions, and when we’re young, we often just seek our own pleasures. But our actions have consequences. Even if we improve our character through the years, we can’t change the fact that we leave damages behind. The people we hurt don’t know the growth we go through, only having a negative view of who we once were. It’s realistic writing

Power of creation: since we saw green particles creating the new stickman, just like how we saw him reviving back his friends which got deleted by TDL, maybe if he figured out how to use his powers he could ressurect back Mitsi after Victim would force him to do so after he saw the green particles around TSC from the memory card of TCO.

This episode was perfectly written. I genuinely am rooting for victim at this point, everything he went through since 2006. Also I don’t know how, but even without dialogue, you’ve made Mitsi an adorable character for the community to adore and love, despite the outcome.
The fact that his very first animation shows us how much Alan has changed going into present day. I was born around that year and looking at this today, I could just see how animators would randomly beat up characters they create over apps like illustrator or other online painting tools, similar to how ragdoll physics works now.

2007 March 15th = He escapes and found rocket co. with mitsi in same year
2007 May 15th = TCO gets created(couldnt find real date and took video date)
2011 October 2th = TDL gets created and both he and TCO escapes from Alan PC
2011 founding day of rocket co. = Mitsi dies by TCO
2014 October 2nd = TSC gets created and Alan agrees to live with stickfigures in peace
2018 Auguts 18th = AvA 8 happens(TCO gives up doing evil and TSC defeats TDL). Victim finds TCO also Alan cursor worked together(at his perspective) and starts working on his plan for revenge
2023 April 29th = TCO and TSC gets abducted
So TCO spent 4 years in Alan pc, he and TDL spent 7 years wreaking havoc around, Alan didnt create(known) stickfigure for 3 years. Also Victim waited 5 year to start his revenge for real. Just woah.

There is a good chance that TCO was trying to save Mitsi from TDL but was too late because it was foreshadowed that he was beginning to undermine his schemes around the time they went to newsgrounds, TDL can't possibly have known if he did save the netizens due to all the smoke but it would make him suspicious if he openly defied him with more potential destruction as retaliation.
Also it would make more sense if it was a misperception rather than him attacking Mitsi because it adds more conflict in the story on who is actually more 'right' in their goals, and it further illustrates the foil between TCO and victim, the former began using his powers and abilities for destruction upon freedom and then realised he can do better by first redeeming himself (finding his way and working with his past victims after fighting against TDL) and to refrain from using his powers on those he considers incapable of defending themselves against; whereas Victim struggled coping with his past and slowly came over it by building a new life by revolutionising new technology and helping the community, however his past can't get enough of him so he has to be a victim of suffering again indirectly (in this instance) caused by Alan, he then relapses and descends into a spiral of vengeance, drawing wild conclusions that would make him seem mad, and develops tools and weaponry to (impliedly) brutalise other stickmen in order to test his arsenal for the capture of TCO, his (perceived) nemesis.
Ya know, this makes a lot of sense
So, the hole Agent escapes the chaos from looks exactly like the portals Chosen One uses, so my theory is that Chosen One went behind Dark Lord's back to give people an escape route.
The portal isn't Chosens power though. That's just what it looks like to have holes torn between PCs and websites. It wasn't something he casually knew how to do until after he fought the Virabot (prior to that, it took literally everything he had to break into Alan's PC.
