Tbh it reminds me how underutilized Sing is for Puff until Bassmage showed that it’s an amazing move but pros were afraid to use it in 99% of situations

wait why dont they use down air on stage to ledgeguard instead of using ftilt? it seems like the timing is much easier and more safe

IDK for sure, but I would guess that having to jump first and the larger amount of endlag on downair makes it more committal and forces you to react to your opponent's option faster than just using forward tilt.

ftilt hits faster and is generally safer while being just as good

way harder to time than you think but we use it against certain matchups such as kirby. we also use down b at ledge to 2 frame kirbys recovery safer
