Never knew the name of the knot i keep using. Lol. I forget who taught it to me but it stuck with me since i was young. The improved clinch knot. I use it for everything. Need to learn more knots which is one reason im watching the vids. Lol. Thanks for the info and great video.
Man I don't know how many times I've watched this video. The advice about our sinker leader being lighter than our hook leader makes a whole lot of sense. I have yet to heed to your teaching. Therefore I lose way too many complete rigs. 😡 I promise I'll do better. Excellent tutorial. I have learned a lot from this video. Thank you so much. 👍🏾👍🏾
I ordered this to net the algae in a large pond in our backyard. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxphFK7ETiDP5G4IGsNcg7vbASDp_YfDpI The net is very sturdy and easy to maneuver in the water. The angled edges make it easier to get into the smaller spaces among the rocks. I didn't realize that the front of the net doesn't actually have a frame to it, just the sides do, but it seems to work just fine. The handle extends to various sizes, which is a great feature when I'm in areas that are tight with shrubs at the edges of the pond. I can collapse the handle so it doesn't get stuck in the bushes.

The method of snail the circle hook is amazing. Thank you!
Yea but the leader line going off to the left, how is it going to be elevated? Would you recommend a peg float 4" back? But wouldn't that elevate it off the ground so that it would be nearly parallel with the main line coming from reel?
Would this work? I have some 3 way swivels so I was thinking of doing a knocker rig but the 3 way swivel would have a hook in each of the 2 holes the 3rd would attach to the main line and the weight would be on the main line like a knocker rig
Mono floats, whereas fluorocarbon sinks. Choose accordingly. I sometimes employ a small float on the hook segment to ensure the bait is off the bottom a bit.

Thanks for sharing! Just subbed!
Thanks for the lesson!
So on a 2 way swivel would you tie it to the one connected to the main line ?
Would it not be better if you tied the hook to the straight end so the fish won't bend the swivel and break it?

Did it ever work?
I wanted to thank you for teaching me this also could you show ways to tie a Catfish rig for someone with bad Arthritis in hands. again Thanks
When you fish this rig with this color of mono do you get more bites or less bites
with the hook line being that long does it get tangled a lot
Sort of, any rig with dropper loops has a pretty high chance of tangling.
@@FishingExplained I do this sometimes except the line i tie to the sinker i use 6lb test that way if it gets snagged it breaks off easily.
Love your channel
Hi i fish with conventional tackle and I tye in to my Maine line using 20 to 30 pound mono
Master class!
What size should my main line be? What size pole?
Great video thanks
Can I use this rig for saltwater fishing?
Yes

Well Done
Could i use braided line?
You can use anything for your main line but I think your leader is supposed to be mono or maybe fluorocarbon. But I like the mono leaders
