What video settings are you using ? Or what is that mod ? I mean how to play the game in wide screen like you? All I can do is to set it on 1920x1080, but the screen view is to close or looks "zoom in ". Please advise.
He's most likely playing a modded build of EE, the question is how he accessed it because that plus being able to select multiple buildings at once is a huge qol that I'd like, ik there is something called NeoEE but idk if that's what he's using

I would have to say Industrial. It is easier to strategize/make unique battle plans without the fear of a few planes coming in and decimating your entire army haha.
How are you getting this to run? My cousin and i cant seem to get it going on windows 10. We tried a few different methods, none worked. Keeps crashing on menu screen

He doesnt have to. He has enough to push and end the game. If you're referring to why he doesn't expand town centre into Capitol, cos it takes too many time and resources for little gain. You only do that if you're trying to turtle or if you have very very little resource node to take
It seems, the gamedevs really thought it thru, tying in the audios. The endearing pig grunts are precious on their own to set the historic atmosphere ... but then come the "Star Trek Universal Translator" shifts, like: "Talas-kelos-ote-talos-ote-stola-talas---... AS YOU WISH!" "Talas-kelos-ote-talos-ote-stola-talas---... WE ARE UNDER ATTACK!" Yeah... That does not break any minuscule semblance to real timeline. Who'd even want that? "Out-of-character", u know? I'm starting 2 appreciate AoEmpires, sorry...

I won ww2 and ww1 Vs hard mode on plaine land using just fighter bomber and it worked In modern age using just ati Tank helicopter made me winner against hard in plaine. I tried with standard recourse against 2 allied hard in plain. This time I lost! I am gonna try more senarios of this game.
I have plenty of videos starting with low resources, including some 1 vs 7 hard AI. Feel free to check those out, they are just a little more boring to watch for the first half of the vid.

have you ever beat the hard ai 1v1 on a small plains map with normal resource start? I've tried countless times and was never able to.

Haha it's a great game man. To start with high resources, just change the 'Resources' selection to 'Deathmatch' on the Game Setup screen.
