    Thank you for a real no nonsense video that actually shows what is needed.

    That smaller blaxk shifter cable was a PITA to remove!!!!

      I’ve had these bushings sitting in my glove box for like five years because I could never get that goddamn cable out. This is the first video I’ve seen that explains how to do it.

      I appreciate it, I really think a lot of people want a middle ground when it comes to install videos, not too cut and dry but also not a super long video with a whole bunch of filler.

    i like that u r taking care of all those little mechanical things before u do any major mods. btw im getting really close to finishing my turbo protoge5 build. install carbon hood, paint, and dyno tune is all thats left..gonna be so sick! 🙏🏼🤙🏽

      Yup, really want the car to be balanced! That’s awesome, sounds like it’s gonna be a ripper with a proper dyno session

      @@NoahGaebel yea i sold my corolla hatchback to pay for this build. ive spared no expense to make it unique. wheels, tires, suspension, brakes, fuel pump, injectors, haltech standalone ecu, complete turbo kit, catch can, etc..im not trying to make crazy power cuz i want to actually drive it and not blow the engine, so im aiming for around 250ish hp..we’ll see when it gets dynoed

      That’s awesome! That’s what my plan was for the protege. But modifying it without doing proper maintenance and reliability mods and daily driver don’t go together. But i’m stoked for you to get it done!

      @@NoahGaebel yea tnx man! i have a channel with a couple of my music uploads, no car content. ill try and upload a little edit of the car when its done. this car is kinda my first real build, stoked! 🤙🏽🤙🏽

      If you wanna make content, start as early as you can. Wish I had done it with the protege much sooner!

    Great video thanks for taking the time to do this and the other bushing one! How does it feel now you have have it installed for a week/two? Would you recommend it? Any more vibrations or anything? Thanks

    • @NoahGaebel
      @NoahGaebel  ปีที่แล้ว

      At first I didn’t like it as much compared just to the base bushings but after a week I feel in love with it. Shifts are satisfying and feel very precise. No added noise or vibrations. Very mechanical and reminds of a more traditional shifter and not cable driven.

    • @ihatemacs9
      @ihatemacs9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      could you tell the difference in shift feel between these bushing and the shifter base bushings?

    • @NoahGaebel
      @NoahGaebel  ปีที่แล้ว

      The difference is minor and it’s kinda hard to explain but the cable bushings added a mechanical feel to it. Not sure how they would feel on their own but if you care how satisfying your shifts are and if you pay attention you will definitely notice a difference.

    I’m installing these bushings the shifter bushings and the short shifter. Is it easier to do the short shifter and these bushings at the same time I’m assuming so

    • @NoahGaebel
      @NoahGaebel  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I didn’t install the short shifter on my car, the last owner did. But with removing the air box and battery would definitely give you enough space to swap it out!

      @@NoahGaebel good to know other videos I’ve seen talk about how difficult
      It is to get hands down there but none of them took out the battery
