Hey Johnny, really sorry! But believe it or not, this series took 2 weeks to collect and validate all the information, record and edit. I'm not a full time youtuber so I work on this when I can, there is several people requesting to do the micro, so I will prepare again a final video on minivolt testing, I will even try to create a minivolt voltage supply device so we can have a more precise measurement. I got a returned one that had the same offset lockup problem with the 3200. I followed the readme file instructions and it would not correctly flash until I bypassed the 2nd to the last command. It would flash, but it would not get passed the second logo screen. When I installed the driver and did the last command it made a funny color pattern on the LCD and after the script finished the install it worked. I think the first command line step undoes the final step since as you pointed out it has some repeated lines. I wish they would clarify that so people wouldn't have problems. I think this scope has benefits, but the Tektronix 2246A still has its place, along with the portable early Velleman scopes I have. The K7105 wasn't cheap when new, but it was a lifesaver.
Hi, you said it all when mentioned, it was beneficts, it is far from perfect, sometimes even good :) but I am still a fan, the problem is the support, that is non existant for every feedback I had until now and I think the community does more for the brand, that hantek themselfes. Hi! Well you still have the RIGOL DS1102Z-E ( geni.us/GDqA2Pj ) I think that this one can be "upgraded" to 200Mhz (not sure of that), but even at 100Mhz is a very complete oscilloscope and very reliable. Even so, depending where you live, is also almost the double. Thanks for watching! 👍

Hi, I will try to get the time to do the final test on this device, I made so many videos with it that this one will be the last one testing it. I will try to fit that in this month, not sure yet. I will do that and some other tests that people requested me. Se o meu objetivo fosse mesmo análise de sinais apenas, sim. Se fosse para uma situação de hobby onde compro um osciloscópio para aprender e ter algumas ferramentas, ficaria pelo hantek, traz muita coisa e facilitaria muito o ter o gerador de sinais e descodificador de protocolos já incluido.

But latelly all the videos in the channel are with oscilloscopes, even this week I received the new Migsic SPO1004 that will have a video next week, and I want to make some videos of other products also, otherwise this will be the oscilloscope channel 😁 I have posponed that video to the next month, but I will do a video with the latest firmware and the final tests to end the reviews to this oscilloscope. Thanks for the videos. I have updated SW on my dso2d10 to 2022.02.10 downloaded from Hantek site. FW is still 3202. Seems that it has better readings on low voltages and offset issues is resolved as you mentioned but I feel that the trigger issue is worst in low signal. May I ask you which FW and SW versions you recommend?
Hi Ross, look, considering the problems I detected in the scope, I'll definitely will use FW 3204 and the latest software version. In the first video of the series I show how to upgrade the FW to 3204 without having to do a "low level" upgrade. Thanks for watching! 👍
Hello... I'm from Brasil and having problems to boot my HANTEK DSO5102P... The boot process does not advance... The QR CODE, that appear at the beginning of the boot process, stays on de display, and the boot process does not conclude... I also realized, that all the buttons that light up and the other LEDs, stays on at the beginning of the boot process and does not goes off... Could you please help me ?
So, I’ve been burned by two cheap usb based scopes (6022BL and also dreamsourcelab thing which is way too lacking in features. It’s a more expensive 6022 by the looks), and I just want something that works that I can learn electronics with. I don’t have the money for a rigol otherwise it’s a no-brainer, but this one really has me interested, especially with the wave gen. I’d love to collect two birds with one stone. Is this a goer or should I really try to save for a rigol, which is nearly 3X the price here?
Hi! You have the Rigol DS1102Z ( geni.us/GDqA2Pj ) that is a bit more accessible, but I noticed that increased a lot the price, specially if you're in europe. Ok, let me give you my 5 cents on you comment. If I will use this oscilloscope in a professional way, Persoanlly, I wouldn't buy it. But for electronics learning, this is a very nice product. You have (on 2D1x models / geni.us/XEGHXMg ) also embed the protocol decoder and the function generator. Even the TTF works very well. So, you have a hole lab in a device. It's true that it has some flaws, but for hobbyist I think that will be more than enough. If you want something more reliable, you can go for Owon, but it's not so complete in termos of what you'll receive. I wouldn't consider the FNIRSI 1104D, doesn't worth the difference in price considering the Hantek and Owon options. Hope it helped, thanks for watching! 👍
@@TechCornerTV apologies, but do you mean you wouldn’t buy the rigol or the Hantek? I noticed that there are some bugs and whatnot, but I expect that in a budget device like this. For what it’s worth, there is currently an active eevblog thread reverse engineering one of these things, so as long as there are not major glaring problems or omissions, then I absolutely will pull the trigger on this. I don’t want to put the cart before the horse, but i can’t help wondering if this scope might be the new rigol in terms of hacking and whatnot. Also, it appears to be possible to hack upgrade the scope, although I wouldn’t be needing to do this personally. Surely 100MHz is heaps for a beginner like me. The only optional thing (and only hardware difference, it seems) that I care about is the AWG, and I am definitely optioning that in. Thanks!

I will do a *final* video after the summer (here is june, july and august) to close these videos, but only at that time. I made a lot of videos in a small timeframe of this oscilloscope.
