- I got an 'LCR' Splitter for the Golf MK6 it gives the front end a bit more of a sports look and makes the car appear lower at the front. it originally came as plain black abs plastic but I sprayed it gloss black before installing it.

Yeah. Luckily if your walking to the car or standing a bit away which is the most common then it looks good so it's not too bad. So from the main angles you'll see it at it looks good

If you cut the inside of the corner of the splitter, you will be able to make it fit the curves of the bumper

Yeah i had to do this with the same splitter and on a audi a4. Worked quite well

@@Fizzy.g yeah but u could save the money u spent on splitter for the r bumper , when u will make upgrade for r20 bumper u will have to buy another splitter
The bumper costs abt 200 for a good condition one then 100 for respray and then another 100 for a splitter so 400 for the R20 conversion or just £50 for this splitter + £15 paint. Also I gotta make content for u guys so I gotta spend that extra bit to make more vids for everyone to watch

The GTi splitter will only fit on the Mk6 GTi bumper as it's a different shape to the standard one

I'm in talks to a company abt the hybrid turbo they're saying that for the money I'm better of going stage 2/2+ and it'll still make good numbers. I've also been extremely busy with uni & work so it's hard to get the car ready and do uni & work😭😭 but trust me the car will 100% be getting tuned and the turbo depends on If my bank account agrees with me 😂😂😂
@@Fizzy.g Well if a company is saying for the money of a hybrid turbo you’re best going stage 2/ stage 2+ software to produce less power but runs safer I’ll say go for stage 2/stage 2+ software as it can save you a lot of money as hybrid turbo’s aren’t cheap. Listen lad don’t you worry about getting the car ready, uni and work is more important as they’re life changing. You just do what you think is best for performance, me personally I’ll slap a hybrid turbo on anything then sell and made profit😂
Yeah that's the one bro. If I knew I can easily make the money back from slapping on a hybrid turbo I'd definitely do it but with the price that'll make the car go up to nobody's gonna wanna buy it at that price. However if I had a GTi or something that has more potential then I'd definitely be slapping on a hybrid turbo. And with the price for this engine if you do the turbo you basically have to change alot of internals and put in some forged parts. If it was as simple as bolting on a turbo and a better intercooler I definitely would've done it
@@Fizzy.g That’s correct including the age of the car with mileage and condition you’ll not make profit if you slapped a hybrid turbo on it as you’ll loose money. Yeah if it was a gti it’ll be worth it a bit more due to being stronger for the block. Yeah that’s also correct if you install a hybrid turbo on this you’ll have to forged it so it’s stronger and have zero issues due to performance given. Haha don’t we all wish it was that easy but it’s not as easy as others think

Yeah the plan is to eventually add one. Right now I'm trying to find a GTi/R style one and I'm also saving up to get one as soon as possible
