The mistakes while traveling can be frustrating but are the things you remember year's after. Like when I booked accommodation for the wrong month in Portugal during another bike race weekend when there were 100000 extra people in town !!!! ahhh!!! But still turned out to be a fantastic weekend. Just keeping having fun and adapting to the situations. Thumbs up to Adam's Matsumoto shirt as well 👍👍
Oh my gosh! Lol! That’s kind of funny. But I’m sure at the time not 🤣 We will forever remember the moments that didn’t go to plan from this trip! 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼 He collects a shave ice shirt from all of our favorite spots on all of the islands!
Your vulnerability and honesty in the first part of the video is just beautiful. And then that part where the dog and you said if you didnt missed the bus, you would've met that dog -- aahhhh looking at the silver lining!! Sharing this to a FB group with thousands of people. 1196 views as of now. Ready? Lol!
Thank you so much! We try to be positive, but we do have some rough moments and want to be honest! And dogs are the BEST silver lining! Thank you so much for sharing our vlogs! 🤗
I am 100% sure that this channel will blow up soon. Your videos are amazing since they have a very professional feel in terms of quality while also having a relaxed personal vibe. I am glad to be here before 10k subs!!
The only bad thing about A Plus K videos is that they show such fantastic sights and eats in Italy that my list of places to go in Italy is now huge. I want to go back to Italy so badly.
Man I miss the Amalfi coast. For our honeymoon we did a hike from Ravello back down to Amalfi, and that was so incredible. Looks very similar to the path you did and I'd highly recommend it to anyone in Amalfi for maybe a lesser known one.
Thanks guys for your tips ! I just did the Plath of Gods following your instructions and it was amazing! I also ended my trip in Fornillo Beach to relax after the hike ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Just wanted to say hello and I really enjoyed your video. My SO sent me this video as we are fine tuning and last minute planning our trip to Amalfi Coast(staying in Positano) in a bit over a week. She really wants to do the Path of the Gods. I subbed so I can’t watch the rest of your adventures. Happy traveling!
Hi! Thank you so much for watching! We are so glad you enjoyed the video! The Path of the Gods was one of our favorite things we did our entire trip to Italy. If you have any questions about the trail or how go get to it (we struggled lol), let us know. Have an amazing time! 🙌🏼
Adventures of A plus K like I mentioned earlier we are fine tuning to go back to Italy. How are you carrying your camera? When we went to Europe last year I carried a Thule camera backpack that I have mixed feelings on. Yea it’s fine for a day trip but wasn’t fine when we backpacked for 15 days across Europe fine. What’s y’all solution?
We use a Wandrd backpack for all of our camera gear and it’s awesome! It fits our DSLR + vlogging camera, extra lenses, a bunch of external hard drives, lots of extra batteries and chargers and we also can put a tripod or two in the side pockets. And that still leaves room for any jackets or small personal items and a laptop. It also opens in the back and has minimal zippers, so we felt safe from any pickpockets in the big cities. We then just had a second regular backpack for travel days to lug anything else around that doesn’t fit in our suitcase. I hope that helps!
I use a Nikon D750! It’s very nice, but a tad bulky. I’m hoping to upgrade to a Mirrorless DSLR in the future! We use a Sony A6500 for vlogging and sometimes use it for photos too! It’s much lighter and easier to carry around 😃
Binge watching your Italy vlogs & I'm cracking up at you guy's obssesion with gelato! 😂 I'm motivated to try it- it looks so deliciously creamy! I 110% agree about your decision to not get the beach chairs - so many food goodies you can get with 50Euros! Love the videos & your positive attitude. Safe travels to Alaska! 👍👍
I’m pretty sure I’m your parents’ age but I really enjoy your videos! You both travel like my husband and I do...get up early to miss the crowds. We are planning to do much of what you’ve done in Italy...hopefully going next April for 3 1/2 glorious weeks, that is if this virus ever gets under control! We’ve rescheduled our trip 4 times now! Thank you for taking the time to give pointers and advice...so helpful! You and your husband are adorable and so easy to watch. Question...how hard was the hike on the Path of the Gods? Was the trail easy or more challenging? I’m more concerned with the quality of the path, if it’s steady and the rate of incline. Thanks for any insight you can offer!
Hi Michelle! Thank you so much for watching and the kind words! ❤️ 4 times?! That is wild! We are going to hope April works out this time! We’d say overall the trail was pretty steady. Nothing too steep except for the stairs at the end! And the trail was really well maintained if we remember correctly!
Wow thanks for the fast response! I’m going to add this to our itinerary for sure. It looks incredible! Btw...I’m a native Austinite, born and bred! Lived there 40 years. I miss Austin so much sometimes! We live in College Station now, as my husband works at TAMU but I’m a Longhorn thru and thru...which is a bit tricky since my youngest is a junior at A&M! 😳 LOL! Again...thanks for all the wonderful videos. Off to watch you head to Roma! 😊
Hahahah that must be a fun, heated family rivalry! 😉 Go horns! 🤘🏼 And we are excited for y’all to do this hike! It is a bit confusing and tricky to get to, but we also outlined the steps on our blog (we have a Positano guide) to hopefully make it easier 😃
It's a path between Positano and Bomerano. There are lots of viewpoints along the way, but if you want to start and end in the same spot you'd do it twice
In your opinion where is the best place to exchange dollars for euros? And did you use your cell phones for GPS? And if so what kind of plan did you go with?
We purchased international phone plans through our cell phone provider at the time and used it to navigate, but we tried to download offline maps to avoid using much data. For euros, we brought some with us, but then used actual bank ATMs as needed. We share more Italy tips in this guide (+ our other Italy guides for other areas): adventuresofaplusk.com/2-days-in-positano/#0-tips-for-a-great-trip
Loved this! I’ll say it again...you two are so fun to watch! The coast looks so beautiful! I saw the meat but thought you were saving it for later when you were hangry! 🤣 JK 🤪

We will have to try that one next time! We LOVED hiking there, it was stunning!

That's awesome! What a hike that is! We're glad you had a great trip!
I love your videos! Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Thank you so much Fernando! 🤗🥰
A beautiful looking hike. I am starting to get hooked on your videos. They are great 😊
Thanks Don, we really appreciate it and are so glad you like them!
Going to Italy and the Amalfi Coast next month for 3 weeks. Looking forward to hike the Path of the Gods! Thanks for the vid.
Really enjoying this adventure. Bless you guys. ❤
Great video guys. That main beach with the umbrellas is called "Spiaggia Grande",which means "Big Beach" in English.
Thanks Gabriel! And we totally didn’t realize the translation until after the trip haha. Oops!
@@AdventuresofAplusK Hahaha!.I know because I speak some italian and I was there in '18,but I also know it can get a little confusing.Stay safe guys.
Going to Italy next year, so I’m binge watching your vlogs, soooo helpful!
Yay! Italy is the BEST!!!
Thanks for the video. We’ll be there in a month and can’t wait to add this to the itinerary.
Of course y’all! It’s such a beautiful area and the hike is amazing! Even if it takes a bit of planning to get to it!

This is like your 5th video I watched!! Loved every bit of it! I hope one day I get to visit Italy and try all your recommendations ❤️
Thank you so much for watching! 😭💗 And we hope you can too! It is an incredible country and we only scratched the surface!
@@AdventuresofAplusK Thank you for sharing as well! I'd like to ask what is the model of the dslr Kathryn is using? Nice photos on instagram too! ❤️

The gelato was soooo good! Gotta try them all 😜😜
Would you be able to post the Air BnBs that you stayed in throughout your trip? I think that would be super helpful!
Ah so sorry! We had Airbnb info in most of the Italy vlog descriptions, but forgot to put it in this one 🤦🏻♀️ Oops! Just added it though!
Ugh, we went on an Italy trip in 2018. Reliving it through your videos
Italy is amazing! Where all did you go?
@@AdventuresofAplusK Rome =>Positano=>Florence => Venice => Rome! We also had gelato for breakfast lunch dinner and dessert 😂
That is the only way to do it when in Italy! 🙌😋

You are making me want to go to the coast! On my bucket list!
The coastline is sooo stunning with all of the cliffs! We’d love to check out Cinque Terre next time and some smaller, lesser known spots too!
I and my wife will be there in May 2020. Thanks for the video.
Woo! We hope y’all have an amazing time! 🙌🏼🎉
We’re going to Alto Adige (South Tyrolia) in September. I’m going to check to see if you have a video from there! Thanks for sharing!!
No we didn’t visit that area. Looks beautiful though!
I think Positano and I could be very happy together 😍
Lol! I guess you better go and confirm 😉 Juuuust to make sure 😜😍
Matsumoto Shave Ice?! Nice shirt Adam!!
I love my shave ice!
After watching video I'm still left wondering what is the path of the gods. Is it a path between towns or a viewpoint trail?

When did you hike the path of gods? We are planning on going in February is that a good idea?
Hi! This was in July. I am not totally sure the conditions in February, but I am sure it would still be okay!
Do you remember how long it took you to do the hike all the way back to your airbnb?
Hi, enjoyed the video 👍🏼 Hope we can do this without any guide. Is the way marked with instructions? Please guide.
Hi thanks! No you don’t need a guide. The trail is marked and we suggest following the AllTrails guide linked in the video description 😊
