Yeah, vegetables and whey are bad
Million view because million non intelligent people love videos like that . Let them learn the hard way
Unfortunately the hard way is colon cancer
Eddie Abbew is amazing. ❤
Im happy that feel better now but a plant based diet is unethical and unlogical . Meat , fruit, veg and fat is the key
There’s nothing unethical about not eating meat . I guess eating meat isn’t unethical either but it can be depending on how it’s farmed . also fat isn’t key there is a direct correlation with % of diet that is fat and weight gain . It’s common knowledge that high protein medium carb low fat is best for fat loss or muscle gain . Carbs and fat stimulate your metabolism slightly too and fat does not have that effect . In general fats have no health benefits other than providing certain fat soluble vitamins
@@Hh-tu5bh I like your answer . I do belive meat , fruit and veg is more superior than carbs . Most main carb foods all undergo a process . (Pasta, rice, bread ). Meat, eggs, fruit, veg , nuts ,beans all are natural from mother nature

Shocking revelation, I know.

It's crazy that people listen to him just because he's buff, competed in Mr Olympia once (didn't even place in top 10) and swears a lot. Most doctors and nutritionists would completely disagree with his bullshit. The vast majority of people that got fit and buff did not follow his insane advice, showing it's unnecessary.
i mean just looking at eddie than looking at you eddie looks more healthy than you no offense
Imagine how silly it would be to judge how healthy a bodybuilder is (who has a track record of abusing a lot of pharmaceuticals) just by looking at them

YOU SHOULD NEVER TALK DOWN ON A MAN WHO ACTUALLY HELPS PEOPLE AND SPREADS AWARNESS
Except he isn't the man talks about his skepticism of chemicals in food but never educates himself on them and just says all of them are bad.
He is the definition of someone afraid of dihydrogen monoxide or sodium chloride.
He's a clown he isn't spreading awareness he's dangerous and knows not a lot.
What does he help and what awareness he's full of crap.
@@johnchapmonkey8933 please elaborate ?
@johnchapmonkey8933 I remember a while back Eddie made a video promoting doing a 6 day fast. (Eat nothing for 6 days) a mate of mine at the time was massively into him and once he saw the video he was influenced to do it immediately.
With no research or prep he went on it and on the 4th day he looked ill. He got so bad he could have fainted at any moment. Luckily I begged him to eat. He had a simple ham salad sandwich and within 30 minutes he perked right back up.
Eddie's overall message of eating better is good but how he delivers it is very dangerous. My mate was nearly hospitalised because of him
Ben, that's very kind of you be polite to Eddie at the beginning of your video (and throughout).
I won't say he's an idiot, because I do not know anything about his actual intelligence. But I will say that his egregiously wrong medical information is a perfect example of what is wrong with the online fitness industry. It appalls me that he has a lot of subscribers and views and fans. And if he knowingly peddling this nonsensical bullshit just to get clicks and views and money, then he should be thoroughly castigated and excoriated in the court of public opinion.
Why does TH-cam allow monetization of videos with dangerously wrong medical misinformation ??
People like Eddie Abbew are there to raise awareness against the brand culture, he does such a good job of that, he should stick to that instead of doing the medical awareness stuff, i do think the brands exploit addiction which is really bad, but yeah he can be wrong about many things and your video proves that.
anecdotes are much more worthwhile than studies. Perform your own n=1 study, the amount of anecdotes are larger than many studies anyways. Try out a new diet, you can ALWAYS switch back. I just searched up eddie abbew for the first time and this video came up, idk what he eats but i do not eat plants and i feel 100x better than when i did. If i listened to your advice, i would have never known that
Great video and you're absolutely bang on.
He's a liar and a hypocrite.
You get the same ilk of people crying who cry when we say sugar free isn't as bad as full sugar drinks...
They don't actually look at the big picture of what you are implying 👍🏻
These people need to be held accountable for the harm they’re causing!
I bet none of you have tried his diet tho, best ive ever felt
What about the people who have tried carnivore but felt worse? Isn’t that exactly why it’s important not to tell everyone to follow exactly the same diet plan?
@BenCarpenter tbf come to think about it you do feel like crap for the first week or so cos your body has to adjust but after you feel great, but yeah I see where you are coming from, and he does eat carbs in his vids lol just before or after training, the main thing is hes telling us to look at all the shit food we are eating, he does have good intentions. Maybe just needs to tailor his content a bit. I think hes just getting hate cos hes exposing all the food companies, like loads of the supermarket foods have dozens of ingredients and additional shit we shouldn't eat. But to say hes dangerous and misinformation is a bit harsh hes obviously just an old man with the right intentions lol he should just give people a heads up about the phase of feeling like shit for a week or so
@@chrisbardellartistthe man throws the bath out with the bath water, he demonises EVERY additive because he has no clue as to what they actually do and whether they are actually harmful. Giving out false medical and nutritional information without any qualifications for monetary gain is "good intentions"?
@coolyoutubename16 what telling people to stop eating processed food 😂 sorry piers Morgan
Why do dieticians always look so unhealthy. This dude definitely needs some eggs and steak
Wow carnivore might help me not have to use my insulin pump anymore haha.

ofc u can... carbs are nothing magical, they're sugars and calories, used as energy and stored as fat if you consume too much.

Wow, what a shock. I wonder when the newspapers will report these surprising facts
I really hope this comment was sarcastic
Eddie pumped himself full of steroids for nearly two decades and whenever he walks, he walks like someone who is 90. He's messed up his body and likely his fecking brain with rot.
The amount of logical fallacies crammed into one sentence is impressive (directed at the OP.)
I’m praying original comment was a joke 🙏🏾
You are insular with your attitude, eddie is explaining the base level of nutrition, get off your high horse and look in the mirror
It’s funny that you are saying he is explaining a “base level of nutrition” but is still wrong.
You can’t CONFLATE IBS AND IBD.
You can’t claim a diet CURES CROHNS DISEASE FOR EVERYONE.
Loool ironically it's Eddie whose on his high horse he calls ppl fckn idiots if they don't follow his advice I think Eddie is autistic and is obsessed and will not listen to anyone but himself and when ppl reference doctors he calls them crap but plenty times tells us he was a nurse and so is qualified to talk. Lol a nurse Eddie is an idiot
I agree with you. Big up from France.

Eddie Abbew has no idea what he's talking about.
I have a friend who has started watching Eddie and it has helped him inprovehis diet which is great but he sppurs alot of nonsense and demonizes so many foods it just makes the nuteition world more confusing for people. I could tell hw wantedbto argue that my recent phase of a calorie deficit with kettlebell training and a fair bit of walking added in that has made me slowly lose around a stone recently was wrong but he couldnt because i was walking talking proof in front of him and not a reference to another video
Racist just because he's black he's help me
Calling something “racist” when it isn’t racist is not only deeply offensive, but also undermining of when racism actually occurs. If I had to guess, over 95% of my video responses are to white people, so if racism was a motivator for me I am doing a terrible job.
Instead of racism, I am actually someone who is personally impacted by the kind of advice he gives out in this video, given I actually have the disease and I have played around with different diets to see how my symptoms change.
His race has zero impact on whether his video is accurate or not, and in this case, it is not accurate.
Calling things racist when there isn't even a hint of racism is just as bad as being racist. What a 🤡
Wonderful video! Thanks for making it clear! Many greetings from a scientist 🙂
Explain the mechanisms by which “plant-foods” are indicated for gut health.
Eddie Abbew suggests eating seeds is shit. Ive known no other nutritionist suggesting the consumption of seeds is bad for the average persons health.
Why do you think menopausal women drop all symptoms, hip aches, insomnia, night sweats, migraines etc etc with pure carnivore and as soon as they introduce carbs back … dang … all symptoms are back ? Why do you think someone who has finally found a relieve after 20 years of suffering would change diet back to carbs ?
Eddie is right and this soy boy is wrong
Please tell me, what gives you the authority to crown the person who conflates IBD and IBS as correct, despite knowing I have relayed information from one of the worlds leading specialists in Crohn’s disease. This should be good

Ben, you need to call out Eddie more often
But the comments section always gives me a headache 😂

Dont be so ignorant.
You must be smart enough to realise that “warning people of the dangers of ultra processed foods” and telling people not to take medication if they have Crohn’s disease but instead go on the carnivore diet are different, right?
