It cracks me up when I see people daily their over accessorized rigs... especially with the rooftop tent. The guy in the video, demonstrating the items with gloves on is on point.
Do you take your tent and accessories off every time you get back from a trip? It’s not very convenient or very easy to take everything off and store it somewhere for a month or 2 or whatever and then re-install it all for a new camping trip…..😂🙄
@appalachhaun_adventures I have a GX, aside from the form and function suspension/tires, mild engine mod that's about it, no accessories to take off. Never had the need for LED light bars, traction boards, I plan my trips accordingly, so there's no need for gas/water tanks. No snorkels, awnings, or roof tents, I pack a regular tent and tarps and enjoy the outdoors. I get it. People think the rigs look cool with all that stuff on and to each their own. Mine probably looks boring when I take it camping. I will say, my GX has probably seen more action off-road than some of those "built" rigs.
@ you said it. To each their own so who cares bro. If you went to unknown places for a week then maybe you’d need more water and gas. I have a 7 gallon water jug and would need more after a 3 day long weekend 🤷🏻♂️. By the time you cook and wash dishes, etc. 3 times a day and wash your hands a million times. Awnings are good if it’s 95 degrees outside obviously. Again you said it. To each their own right so why fuss about it all 😂😂 I have never needed traction boards either but yo never know when someone else is stuck and needs help or if you’ll need it one day….its like why have a seat belt if you never needed it 🤷🏻♂️ I had a winch and only used it one time 🤷🏻♂️….
I can't knock MIDLAND, because they always been a great manufacture for CB Radios back in the day. However, you can't go wrong with Motorola or Kenwood Radios, especially the mobiles. I know that Motorola and Kenwood don't really a large selection of GMRS part 95 E radios, but who really cares. You pick up new old stock Motorola or Kenwood, you're going to sound loud and proud.

Agreed!
I live for it!
