Personally I like Olive Garden way more than Red Lobster. Has nothing to do with the breadsticks. I prefer the food at Olive Garden over the food at red lobster.

Without analogies, here is the argument:
Breadsticks:
Best part: the ingredients added ON TOP of the breadstick. The ingredients can be licked off and then you just have a bar of bread.
Best with: The best way to enjoy them is with something to dunk them in like cheese or marinara sauce.
Cheddar Biscuits:
Best Part: the ingredients are baked INTO ALL OF IT! You cannot separate the ingredients. You will always enjoy eating the entire thing.
Best with: NOTHING! You do not need anything else with the Cheddar Biscuits to enjoy them. If you tried, it wouldn't be nearly as good.
So surely this means that Cheddar Biscuits are better because 1) they taste better, 2) the thing you said about enjoying the entire thing and 3) they don't rely on outside help for enjoyment
I'd like to ask about breadsticks with added ingredients on top that can be licked off. I've never had breadsticks like that. Every ingredient per different kinds of breadsticks have been baked on it, thus still enjoyable even without any dipping sauce.

This is probably the funniest RT podcast clip I’ve ever seen.
This would make a good running joke in rwby or a great segment in rwby chibi with jaune, sun and neptune arguing about two food items in that universe with ruby not knowing which side to pick.

I'd like to weigh in on the Breadstick/Biscuit argument. The Biscuits are, in terms of flavor, better than the breadsticks, true. No argument there. But the breadsticks at OG are meant to be eaten in conjunction with the pasta, soup, or whatever you personally order as most of their food has some kind of sauce and if you particularly like the sauce, then you use the breadsticks to clean the plate. The biscuits are too crumbly for that purpose and most of the time they break off. I've gotten crab alfredo from RL and whenever I try to clean up the last remnants of the alfredo sauce with their biscuits, they break apart and it defeats the purpose of my even using the biscuits to begin with. I agree with Michael for the most part. I don't like seafood that much and would much rather have pasta. For eating straight, the biscuits win, but for eating with a sauce or something like that, it's the breadsticks for me.

Honestly the biscuits win texture with the melting and what not, but bread sticks absolutely win the taste then there’s the sauce Salem’s that they win to and finally to the argument that you don’t go there to get the bread sticks, the bread sticks are at least half the reason you go there and the cheddar biscuits are the only thing I believe that is keeping red lobster running and those aren’t even better than bread sticks!!!!!!!!!!

I always tag along with my parents to Red Lobsters just for the cheddar biscuits, actually one night we were there late and it was about closing. Because they would go to waste, they gave us about 20 cheddar biscuits on the house, it was the best!
