I rigged the red khaos I have to accept mega darts with a simple magazine adapter. It call it the Megastrike. Does fine with stock performance and best with the rechargeable battery pack. Gotta make use of 300 mega darts somehow 😅

I'm working on a mod for the Khaos mag with holes drilled out towards the end of the mag for a quick refill without having to remove it entirely.

No, it’s just objectively better. Khaos mags were exclusive, and therefore not viable. Woulda been cool if you could just shove in multiple mags, but then you would be too powerful (for the time).

I used to have a khaos. I modded it to take regular elite mags. The flywheels have enough crush that they fling elites pretty hard. I had plans to meld the front of the khaos with the body of a demolisher (with a rapidstrike pusher added) and the stock of a centurion. Unfortunately that blaster never came to life. However I still have all the shell parts

i hate that the khaos was phased out of use so fast by hopper fed blasters, external khaos mags and a good system to hold them could change a few things

-absolute powerhouse
-good mod potential
-good feeding than a hopper
Neutral
-need to buy large batteries (but you can buy a rechargable pack made by nerf instead of buying those large batteries or mod it with 3S lipo)
-comes only with 1 mag (but you can just buy some or 3D print mags for the rival Khaos)
Cons

I modified some of my son's toys for the fun of it but I don't understand how adults get quite so deep into children's toys. Playing with things and the joy of that kind of thing is understandable but growing up is important and that involves the evolution of your toys into things that are useful.
