This brief yet impactful workshop is designed to offer participants an immersive experience in mindfulness practices, guiding them towards a state of calm, centeredness, and heightened awareness.
    Mini-Mindfulness Meditation: We'll practice a mindfulness meditation that focuses on breath awareness. This exercise is designed to bring you into the present moment, helping to quiet the mind and reduce stress. You'll learn simple techniques to anchor your attention and find peace amidst daily chaos.
    Guided Grounding Exercise: This practice involves connecting with our physical senses and the environment to anchor ourselves firmly in the present. It's an effective tool for those moments when you feel overwhelmed or disconnected.
    Paul White is an integrative psychotherapist specializing in the use of mind/body techniques to manage the anxiety, stress, and trauma of being vegan in a non-vegan world. He is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California and Maryland and holds a Certificate in Clinical and Applied Hypnosis. His areas of relevant interest include Mind/body integration, Somatic Therapy, Poetry/creative writing/Art Therapy, Clinical hypnosis/guided imagery, LGBTQ+ issues, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Multicultural competencies.
