I have said all along that the zoo model does not suit elephants. Yet only the other day, I received a response telling me they were safe in the zoos. I could go into a big rant here but ignorance is what ignorance is. Call zoos out! Free Lucy!

I live in another country, I have rescued several abandoned animals who were victims of abuse and I now have 4 dogs. Unfortunately, I have seen bad things like this before. I don't want to go into details, but there are monsters out there that will get their hands on an animal just so they can do bad things to it. I hope this is not the case here, but it does happen.
