    Instead of investing active mutual fund invest in index fund if you want to beat nifty 50 index fund select midcap 50 index fund if you want to beat midcap index select small cap 50 index fund ..it is very simple to earn money in stock markt investing one needs simple logical approach

    According to your presentation in last 10 years among 24 only 9 funds able to beat index Less than 50% funds. How would I know which fund will beat index in next 10 years. It's pot luck 😅 better people can use index with asset allocation and rebalancing to reduce risk in portfolio. And we don't have to worry about other funds outperforming thefund which we choose.

      Most people who invest in mutual funds or index funds are doing without proper guidance. They watch social media and investing. That is Pot luck. But if you can find a good advisor who advices based on Research, your funds will be in the top 10List.

    I accept your words by the same time now there is too much liquidity in international market FII & DII performance is at a rush so I would say until the liquidity becomes stable in international market not just nifty every stock in every country is gonna perform great and in india nifty will be the best.
    So for 1 or 2 years index funds would be the best choice.
    Don't just see this and take a decision research think and inverst.

    Index Funds:
    Most Index funds must be having Adani group stocks holding it without selling even though they have negative news about the Adani group. In active funds fund managers have the flexibility of selling the shares earlier .
    When your investment is going down because of a specific stock or more stocks you must simply watch the loss without any action. Such funds are called Index funds.
    Now, do you want to invest in index funds ? 😃

    • @nivasexcites
      @nivasexcites  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      First of most of the active funds don't have exposure to Adani group. They avoided because their share price is overvalued.

In U.S., there are thousands of Mutual fund companies, so most of the schemes cant beat index funds there. But in india, it will take a long time. There are two choices,
      1. choose index fund and forget it.
      2. Choose a right advisor and get good funds.
      In the first option you will save cost. Second option, you will get better returns but you will have to spend money on advisor. Either commission or direct fee. Choice is yours. When you pay money to an advisor, you have every right to question him.

    Dont you think index funds are safe bet for long term investment like 20 or 30 years. Having less expense ratio will make a huge difference. Number of funds beating the market is getting reduced year by year. Even in india its less than 50% funds beats market. If i have 2 funds, chances are one gonna beat market and other gonna fail. Atlast, even though one of our fund beats market, its of no use. As it has to compensate the other funds loss in our portfolio.

    • @nivasexcites
      @nivasexcites  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your point is valid. But don't put all your money in index funds. Mostly people investing index funds are investing in nifty50 and Nifty next 50. In the last 15years, nifty 50 has not beaten a single midcap fund. I'm talking about index. But index funds have tracking error from 1% to 1.5% per year. Which is equivalent to expense ratio.

  • @craigslist1323
    @craigslist1323 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Don't listen to this mutual fund sales man.
    Most of the mutual funds do not best the indices that they track.
    Don't belive the "choose the right fund" nonsense. If an investor knows that, they will rather buy individual stock. Also in the long term (think 20 years) there might be 10% active fund beating its index.
    Also expense ratio is a killer in mutual fund.
    Just not 80% index, 20% bond.. keep rebalancing every year and increase 1% higher in bond and 1% lesser in stock.
    You will best all these nonsense mutual funds. These guys are there just to make money from your money
    Listen to the great Warren Buffet (go look at his index vs active challenge).
    Only one exception to this rule is small caps.. small caps is where active fund managers can really pick good stocks and multi baggers

    • @nivasexcites
      @nivasexcites  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I never said index fund is bad. Saying only index funds will give good returns is wrong. You can think globally like warren buffet, but you have to ACT locally. In US, there are 8000mutual fund companies in US. So there Mutual fund companies cant beat index funds. But in india, there are less AMC's. And there are quite a no of mutual funds in every category beats index funds.

      This comparison includes expense ratio..i have compared with index without expense and active funds with expense. Index funds has expense plus Tracking error of 1.5% which will be morethan normal expense ratio. If you want to invest invest in Nifty 50 index not other indexes.

      if you are a beginner, invest through an advisor in mutual funds. once you learn then you can invest on your own in index or direct funds. even you can invest 100rs per month. but it will not be enough for your goals.

But index fund 3rs earn panitu 1rs exons ratio poga 2rs returns kedaikum so perfrmnc mukiyama returns mukiyama bro. Active fund will help Fund mngr & Brkrs. Passive fund will help investors.

      Expense ratio is not 3% in Active funds. There is tracking error in Passive funds upto 1.5%. And managing on your own has a huge cost of missed oppotunities. So invest through an advisor.

      Investopedia: Limitations of the S&P 500 Index
      One of the limitations to the S&P and other indexes that are market-cap weighted arises when stocks in the index become overvalued meaning they rise higher than their fundamentals warrant. If a stock has a heavy weighting in the index while being overvalued, the stock typically inflates the overall value or price of the index.
      A rising market cap of a company isn't necessarily indicative of a company's fundamentals, but rather it reflects the stock's increase in value relative to shares outstanding. As a result, equal-weighted indexes have become increasingly popular whereby each company's stock price movements have an equal impact on the index.
