Wow, do you guys read the mind of your subscribers? Just yesterday, I was thinking about which one is better among momentum and alpha smart beta funds and here we have a video from you guys. Thanks team!
Excellent information, Thanks for a well analysed presentation. Finally I learnt that Nifty Alpha 50 which gave 82% CAGR in a year is offered by Kotak Mutual Fund, which is safe followed by Nifty midcap 150 Momentum 50 fund offered by Tata Mutual fund which gave 75% CAGR in a year. Thanks again.
The 7 years rolling return shown in this video is different from actual data shown in NSE site. The data is twisted to show momentum and alpha is better than multi factor. Please check and correct it. For example the alpha low voltality 30 index 7 year rolling return is 19.1% vs 14.2 shown in this video. Similarly midsmallcap400 momentum quality100 7yr rolling return is 21.2% vs 17.98 shown in this video. So the second half of the video is factually incorrect. However I appreciate the first half. Crispy and clear explanation of alpha vs momentum
You people at ET money have changed everything complex in a mutual fund to a much easier and simplified way through in depth analysis so that everyone can understand. Great efforts. Glad to be a part of this channel. Keep it going!
As each beta fund has a different universe for selection, it would have been better if they were compared against similar benchmarks rather than comparing all these beta funds to a benchmark. As usual classy, data based and informative. Thanks to ET money team.
Excellent compariosn....Thank you !! While based on my own study i am invested in Alpha & Momentum ETFs, this data helps to Boost the confidence & continue with SIP / Buy at Dips.....Thanks again for this Wonderful summary....Thanks to Anchor ( name ? ) & team for very well presentation.
Mutual funds or Index funds which is a better buy right now? just got my lump sum inheritance and would love to put my money to work, so i can earn in dividends, i'm also looking at paying mortgage where rates are not so high.
I’m currently working towards financial freedom with a focus on dividends & growth investing. Since 2014, I’ve built a portfolio made up of 30% Mutual funds , 25% Index funds, 15% STP and over 30% in digital assets, thanks to my CFA. This strategy has helped me earn $49,000 a year in dividends. Back in 2014, I only earned $21 in dividends.
I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Melissa Elise Robinson” and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look her up.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up immediately. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her.
Very nice and insightful video. A common investor can easily benefit from this. Mutual fund investments are so easy with these analysis. Love you ET Money ❤
You did it just looking at the trailing returns. During a bear market you will see massive drawdowns and your total CAGR/XIRR will come down significantly. Hope you would be able to stomach it!
@@dr.riteshchhabra3611 According to me low volatility is the best factor so far. It may not guarantee high returns, but the fall during bear market will be low, and hence suitable to stay invested for long term. How long you stay invested will matter more than returns to create actual meaningful wealth. Because returns will fluctuate from time to time and it is something not under your control, however it is completely dependent on you on how long you are going to stick to investing in any fund. Longer you stay invested in a fund the more chances of creating wealth, rather than always chasing the funds with the best returns and jumping from one funds to another. Also no fund will be best performing forever so it is not feasible for an investor to choose a fund with highest returns with absolute certainity.
I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.
Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown
Agreed, It's essential to diversify your portfolio. While quality stocks are a solid foundation, you should also consider other assets to spread risk. Thankfully, I can attest to the success of this approach aided by professional guidance seeing my portfolio of $330k grow by 15% this year alone... maybe you should do the same.
Definitely! All of this happened in less than a year after *Izella Annette Anderson* told me what to do. I started with less than $100,000, and now I'm about 17,000 short of having a quarter million dollars.
