I think the NRL team underestimated his potential as a ball playing forward. He can chip kick, off load, create try's, score try's, and kick goals...would"ve been treated different if he had Fiji,Samoan, Tongan or Maori blood. Go son....show what png has...so proud of you.
Not sure if him not being in nrl is because of his race, it's a tough comp the best players and up and coming talent in the world are produced in the nrl many good players not just in png but also outside miss out, get cut or just can't crack it, and end up in SL just the way it is
