How does property tax work in Thailand?
For that environment…. I’ll give 45k. At most. Do you really think cause we’re westerners we’d get suckered..? No pool. @#$& neighborhood…
@@taccntb4345 seems like a quiet area with a reasonable size house
@@ShundaeDreams Looks like we found the sellers…. Lemme guess. You want me to pay your high prices because everything else in western world is high…? No that’s not how it works….
@@taccntb4345 ....I had a genuine question I'm not from Thailand but I do want to move there.
And I quote "Foreigners are under the Land Code Act prohibited from owning land in Thailand therefore making it impossible for foreigners to obtain outright ownership over land and house in Thailand. Foreigners are allowed to own a unit in a condominium building under the Condominium Act."
Same in the Phillipenes
The thing is, you don't own the land under these houses. You may buy a "share" in a community and gain access to a piece of land by that way. The community owns the land, but you own the share that grants the access to the plot.
you can own the house but no land
Jes also in filipines

why can't mid priced homes in the US have this sleek, modern look?? This would totally sell a home over here.
Because Most Americans are Boring, Uncreative and Simple Minded. They would consider Modern homes to be Weird. It's sad that we live in such a Regressive, Uncivilized society. Asian and European countries are far Superior to us.
Cuz merika is fucked
For 84k you can get a tent under an overpass In California 😭😭
The price of this house is 300 times the monthly salary of a normal employee (if you look around, the same 300 times also applies to countries nearby). If a normal US employee gets 5k USD a month, then this should be priced at 1.5m USD in US.
also have to take into account, these are not made to U.S. standards. They don't have insulation like U.S. homes do. They are all concrete constructions. Ask about the warranties in Thailand, it's normal to only get 3 to 5 years from most new homes. Some last a while, others start falling apart immediately.
These videos are so relaxing. I can't explain why, but they give me a sense of calm. I have no interest in buying a house in Thailand, but I'll keep watching the videos for my own inner peace.
We’re glad to help you relax na ka 🙏🏻😊

It's about time that home with real door .
Absolutely gorgeous
Me too, very relaxing, we are actually looking for a house.

greetings from the netherlands 🙂
Hello From Estonia! Very beautiful home!
I think that this is the actual display home with great views .
That is until they build on every side of the house until all you see is cement walls and no view of any mountains or greenery .
So enjoy the view while it lasts as this is as good as it gets . 😂
Spot on comment.
View?
@@robertlloyd3184 You got it bro!
I was going to comment this 😂😂
lol this guy talking about views when the townhouses here looks like chicken coup and every unit cost at least 800k above lol 10 times more than this one shown here.
Check those flat roof seams for water leakage into the vertical walls.
I just found this channel and wow its pleasant and relaxing. Good English, I understand every word. Enjoy the day😁
I love how she presents the obvious :D
I really like the living room because you can live here and there is a window with a nice view! (proceeds to show the view on the next door construction)
The kitchen is also nice because you have the sink and because you can put a countertop cooker (not included I don't see proper receptacles but wotevah!), oh and you also get kitchen cabinets!
This bedroom is really nice because you can put a bed here! Oh, let's not forget, you also get a window!!!
Cute :D
This house was very nice 😍
Loved the layout 😄
More nice the girl for fffff
it's interesting to see how different kitchens are in these countries compared to ones in the U.S., especially since modern units like these still explicitly separate the kitchen with a door from the rest of the house
the best way to be. I can't stand how the kitchen shares the same air space as the living room
Some Thai cooking can create a strong fragrance. If you live in Thailand long enough, you'll experience a few of these cuisines. Well, a simple one everyone knows about is durian, you don't want your house to smell like that, right?
Also, no closets at all? No storage except in the kitchen. I guess they use the armoires, like many in Europe.
Wow I love this house!!!
Nice house. Lots of natural lights. Beautiful kitchen.
Beautiful home. I would live there asap
The house is huge! I love the showers and the sizes of the bedrooms, the kitchen is pretty big too, plus it has those glass doors that close off the room while cooking.
None of the rooms have A/C and I did not see central air. And all the windows open up outward, so you can’t open the window without letting in all the insects. (No screens) The monsoon months will bring high humidity….the price is awesome though. Like another viewer mentioned, the storage space is horrible. No kitchen cabinets anywhere and if you tried to up some up, you have to take half the tile down in order to accomplish that.
Most Asian countries utilize per room units. So it doesn’t waste cooling spaces where you’re not in. Those are installed at anytime.
I absolutely love the layout!
Glad you like it! 😊
@@faranghomescan't buy king owns the land
would love to see this kind of a house on a plot double the size so that u could add a pool area.
For about 150k usd you can have that
@@neilwadden1749 was in Thailand last year and looked at a few spots. A complex with 3br /2 had a private pool with outside grill area for $350 this was in Cha-am
Everything about this video is beautiful
Gorgeous! 😍 The home too. 😂
boy you aint notice the buldge in his dress and the adams apple....
Lots of ladyboyz there 😂
I can already see that "beautiful view" being blocked by other houses over time. I don't like how the yard area is so small and on one side the fence is literally right up on the wall. In order to pass thru you'd have to walk sideways, making it impossible for any work or painters to get to without having to remove the fence and infringing on neighbors property. Otherwise it's a nice modern home at a great price.
Yeah I agree. This looks like the first house of many in the area. View will be wrecked within a year or two at best in my estimate. Would be great to look at council plans (or their equivalent) to see what the future holds. A fools dream to think that area won't be more condensed soon.
You hit the points. They are trying to sell this house first, but this view will be blocked 100% and the right side fence is almost attached to the house which is really bad.
Not to mention the rancid smoke from when they illegally burn that rice field behind it
lot is wayyyy too small.
Beautiful 🤩
Very nice presentation and beautiful house.
Beautiful! Makes me want to look into retiring in Thailand. The laws may prohibit foreigners from owning a house, but I am sure they can rent one. That can work out well for many retirees. I wouldn't mind renting it, and it is cheaper than many other places. It is just moving kind of far.
Gorgeous and the house ain't bad
so you did saw the fat hairy camera man too in the reflection of the girl eyes

wow what a beautiful home
Absolutely Beautiful home. Im now considering buying a gorgeous home like this one in Pattaya. Great Video.
OMG!!! This is amazing house!!! Greetings from Croatia👋
Nice house, however just be aware that the land just outside your wall anything can pop up there. Condominium, shopping mall etc. that would block the view and raise the noise levels.
O wow this is amazing design, fantastic!
Beautiful modern 🏡 home . Ty gin 😊
Thanks Matt 😊🙏🏻
For the price it's a steal
Sorry, another thing about these videos.
We understand English isn't your first language (mine neither), but when you say at 3:51 min. someone can enjoy the "beautiful view" and we see 1m space to the gate that looks onto the road and unfinished construction sites on the other side of the road, that's not considered "beautiful". I'd recommend to use the phrase "beautiful view" less often, cause it just doesn't fit. Same thing about the view towards the back at 4:25 min. "the field is green"... it isn't, it's dry and brown, not green.
I believe it would help your videos if you would show the highlights of the properties, but not try to make things appear better than they are. Honesty is the best thing as real estate agent!
In the end potential buyers might find it annoying, when they arrive at a location and see a totally different thing than advertised.
Hope that helps.
Passive aggressive weirdo.
Love your new hair colouring :) Great video too
I watched this video few times it's so beautiful and I'm not talking about the house. ❤
Lovely woman, lovely house. Here's the issue with this one. One must be very concerned about adjacent properties around the house. In this case, we see some kind of farming going on as well as empty parcels on each side. Unfortunately, one may have unacceptable surprises as things are developed on the adjacent proprieties, also excessive noise, dust and even pesticide spraying with the farm. Houses built after this one likely will block views, be too close, or have windows looking into the home.
Yes ,si build all full.3 months for make new home.
This is a beautiful home. My only problem with houses in Thai is there is always a lack of storage. No jacket closet by the door. No cabinets in the kitchen. No closets in the bedroom. No medicine cabinet in the restrooms. Very inconvenient.
Thailand is hot, no jackets are needed. You can add a medicine cabinet and cabinets.
@@Mark-rw3kw I get it but I just hate to throw away half if not more of my shit just to spend that much on a place with no storage space.
@@flynt1977 Storage space? Are you a hoarder? Live a minimal life is a happy life.
@@NicolasD414 That's a personal preference. And nope I'm not a hoarder. But I do have some belongings that I can live without and others that I prefer to keep.
What I was also thinking. Especially the kitchen. Where are the pots/pans/plates/Tupperware and everything else suppose to go. Guess cabinets could be added after occupation tho
She's amazing. Wow.
Also, the floors are beautiful but I would need rugs to cut down on that echo
That is a beautiful house and the price is very good. I would need to have some cabinets installed in the kitchen, as there were none, if I'd buy this.
Great home at a great price.
Question.
Are those views guaranteed or is there a chance of buildings being built in the future, to interrupt the views?
No, the views are not guaranteed. There will be more homes built in future definitely, this is Thailand after all.
@@turobinson7414
The question has been asked, so let's see what the agents answer is before jumping to conclusions.
@@tman5634 I am Thai and had lived in Chiangmai before. Obviously it is a new housing estate in this part of CM.
@@turobinson7414 hi tu are these freehold?
@@damienhall9814 Yes they are. Although I have no knowledge about non-Thai citizens buying properties in Thailand. In my own personal experience, once I thought of buying a piece of land in Lamphoon Province and found out that my husband, who is an Aussie, has to sign a document stating that he will not claim ownership of the land I bought. If I had kept my Thai maiden name on my Thai ID there would be no problem for me buying land/house in my name so that was the lesson learnt in my part.
I thought foreigners can only buy a condo, so how is this possible? Is it a lease? If so how long is the lease?
U can buy the house and rent the land for 99years! I would not buy a house in Thailand.
You can also buy over a Company. For me the best Option
Does she come with the house

30 years initially
Beautiful view, but when will they build more houses and block that view? Also no AC?
If there's one like this next year I'm 100% buying it!
gotta be in Thailand first.
Jou canot own it
I don’t understand why all these houses don’t have cooktops, ovens and overhead fans in the kitchen. What’s the deal with that? What am I missing here?
You only get the basics here. You need to add the "extras" yourself.
Would have been nice if the bedrooms used laminate or engineered wood flooring instead of tile. Nicer contrast to the main living area and probably would help reduce the echo in the room (although I’m sure furniture would have similar effect). Can you not use engineered wood/laminate in Thailand perhaps due to high humidity and warping?
If there is a flood risk due to seasonal rains then tile is a good idea. Many choose tile in Florida for the same reason. But it is weird to have tile on second floor in bedrooms.
@@inquisitor4635 good point

Interesting to see tiny house designs from other countries!
that's not a tiny house though
Unlike the US, foreigners cannot own land in Thailand so is this channel geared towards foreigners or Thais? I assumed it's geared towards foreigners because the "farang" in the name of the channel. As a foreigner, I wouldn't want to put $84k into a house I cannot own. I've heard farangs can own condos but not the first floor and only 49%. The other 51% must be owned by a Thai citizen. I've heard stories about condo ownership nightmares from farangs.
correct foreigners cannot own land in Thainland.
Can you share some stories about Thai condo ownership you heard?
So does someone that doesn’t live there buy a house then? 😢

There needs to be storage. Storage room or closet with space for a washing machine inside would be good.
You should consider adding closets to the bedrooms.

Great modern design. Do any builders offer this size home, but on a larger lot?
foreigners can't own lots in thailand
Hello, I adore this house, and have several questions:
2:46 It appears that the sidelight (window next to door) opens like a door. I see hinges. This is a great feature since it makes moving large furniture and boxes in/out of the house easier. You didn't mention it, but I noticed it right away!
4:15 what is the purpose of the electric outlet above the large window? There is also a similarly high-placed electric outlet in the kitchen, between (and above) the windows. Another above the windows in the second bedroom and master bedroom. I suspect this might be for future installation of mini-split air conditioning units, but another possibility would be electric blinds.
I do not see a single HVAC vent in any room. Does the house have central heat at least?
The kitchen has not cabinets above the counters. Installing these would require pre-installation of 2x4 lumber behind the walls to support mounting the cabinets. Not having these pre-installed would then necessitate some demolition work. Do modern Thai houses not have kitchen cabinets attached to the walls above the countertop?
6:49 when I was in medical school, my girlfriend, a Burmese girl who was in the grad school associated with my med school, also pronounced BATHROOM as "batroom". I loved that. I have not heard anyone say it this way in decades. It must be due to a common Northern Thailand / Southern Burma accent; she was from Rangoon and spent her childhood years there. Thank you for bringing back very good memories!
