This is my ex husband to the T. So glad I got away from that narcissistic control freak. I wasn't allowed to leave the house until he came home from work and we had to be together. Not even the grocery store. We were not allowed to turn the lights on. Had to use candles for lighting. He checked my miles on my car before he left for work and after. The list goes on and on!

My ex was mostly charming and funny to everyone else, and had people convinced I was crazy so that when I tried to tell them how abusive he was they didn’t believe me. Take my advice ladies: its not worth the anxiety of constantly walking on eggshells worrying about upsetting him. A healthy relationship should bring out the best in you. Not having you anxious over if he's going to get mad. There might be certain times where you feel happy when he does something "nice" so to speak, but if the relationship involves walking on eggshells at other times its just not worth it. You should not be stressing over whats going to make him mad; thats not healthy.
