I was there, in Bologna on July 10, 2022, a few meters to Adam's left at the barrier. Hearing Puccini's Nessun Dorma performed by the best vocalist of this generation at such close range is an ecstatic experience. Our jaws dropped to the floor, we cried and roared, we clapped our hands in complete awe at the power and beauty of his tenor vocals. The video I shot up close has excellent sound. It still blows my mind that Adam made such a gutsy move to tackle one of the most iconic, challenging tenor arias of all time, and in Bologna, they take their opera really seriously, yet he totally blew the roof off! The accompaniments were fantastic and the way Dr. Sir Brian and Roger looked at Adam with such pride and adoration was just the cherry on top! Gotta love them all!

Yes , I’ve heard it said he could have made a go of it as an operatic tenor if he had decided to study opera for more than the year that he did, but I can only think of the contrast between this and Lube. Talk about range. I enjoyed his new single-a show tune from Cabaret which he’s working in now on Broadway. Back to his “theatrical “ roots, as recognized by Simon Cowell
Bravo! I never would have believed it if I hadn't watched this video! What can't this young man sing? I didn't know he had that in him! I find that quite impressive for Adam to be able to sing a classical aria by Puccini! I am impressed! Kudos to MADI G! Peace! ☮

His voice has great harmonic richness with, a clean, a ringing, resonant sound. His passaggio is smooth and vibrato is fantastìc. To me, he is a vocal phenomenon whosè genre flexibility has no precedent ìn modern pop and rock culture. John Kandor, the composer of Cabaret, was at the November 20th performance with Lambert, and was presented with his Olivier Award for Beßt Musical Revival in celebration of the 58th anniversary of the original production of Cabaret. During his speech, he looked for Adam and said:"Adam, what planet are you from?". That's high praise from the source which Adam totally deserved.
