Also forgot two other things, the time gap between the games is as following: -tekken 1 to tekken 2: 2 years -tekken 2 to tekken 3: 19 years (Jin is 19 by the time of the 3rd tournament happening, so when Ogre attacked he was 15, he spent 4 years training with Heihachi) -tekken 3 to tekken 4: 2 years -tekken 4 to tekken 5: 1-2 months -tekken 5 to tekken 6: 6 months -tekken 6 to tekken 7: no known timeframe Tekken 1 and Tekken 2 are taking place around the early 90s (1992-1994), tekken 3 till tekken 7 are going from 2009-2016 Also Jin is weak only before training with Heihachi snd during it till 4 years went by, you see in this episode he is a match now for him, after tekken 3 he becomes the most powerful character in the series, beating all final bosses of each game since debut and also Kazuya and Heihachi at moments they met again to fight each other
Tekken was the best selling fighting game till smash bros ultimate came out and beat it in copies sold world wide per total, iirc it was around 60 million, tekken back then was like over 40 million copies, nowadays it sits at 50 million something copies, mortal kombat then announced that MKX and MK11 sold 11 million each and bumped it at over 70 million copies, tekken is still impressive it has sold so much with lesser games against other well known games of its genre till the previously mentioned outsold it The missing characters on the tablet are pretty much characters attacked by Ogre, since his lore was going after fighters with strong souls, he has moves of other characters in the game Hwoarang master (Baek Doo San) was left in a comma for years till he returned in tekken 5, Wang Jinrei (Xiaoyu grandpa) and Lee Chaolan (adoptive son of Heihachi) we dont know what happened to them in regards to Ogre attacking them, but Lee returns in tekken 4, Wang returns in tekken 5 (Jinpachi returns as a final boss here and writes a letter to him to stop him from a demonic thing possessing him) King 1 dies at the hands of Ogre, King 2 is a different person following his footsteps as a succesor, while Jun you saw what happened kast episode, although the director of the series says she is just missing and her fate of whether she is dead or not remains as just missing, after all Ogre teleported before the explosion and she still held his arm, she likely went away with him to who knows where Also Jin red eyes glowing imply the devil gene power is used, enhancing his physicals, he will go wild with that later episodes
Yes, been waiting for the next episode of your guy’s reaction to this. Plot may be meh but the fight scenes are so good especially with all the usage of moves from the games
The best training arc ever!!! I appreciate this series so much, I’m so y’all are reacting to it as well
Also forgot two other things, the time gap between the games is as following:

-tekken 3 to tekken 4: 2 years
-tekken 4 to tekken 5: 1-2 months
-tekken 5 to tekken 6: 6 months
-tekken 6 to tekken 7: no known timeframe
Tekken 1 and Tekken 2 are taking place around the early 90s (1992-1994), tekken 3 till tekken 7 are going from 2009-2016
