I've never had goosebumps all over my body over such an extensive amount of time, this episode is RIDICULOUS. An underrated favourite moment of mine is when Ubuyashiki said "No one has forgiven you. Not once, in over thousand years" and then all the light ball thingys, representing all the grudges, swirling around Muzan becoming one and then the music hitting hard once we get the visual of the tiger and dragon behind them and all the Hashira turning to glare. Goosebumps the whole time! I'm so satisfied with the fact that Ubuyashiki got to spit his bars, pissed off Muzan by doing so AND denied him the satisfaction of killing him by doing it himself. Actually, I"ve seen a lot of reactors who made the connection -not to take anything away from Kiss and Hayley, their reactions are very good. So far, of all the reactors I've watched, only one figured out from the start that it was NOT Muzan who blew up the mansion - one other fellow I saw figured it out before Muzan made his declaration. But almost everyone else is as shocked as Muzan that Ubayashiki blew up himself and his family.

Inosuke has the instinct of animals, he was mostly likely feeling the demons presence as soon as he entered it and was excited. It's like the first time we met him.
Rengoku's cameo at the Taisho era bit also brings back home to Ubuyashiki's comment about the human will being eternal. Rengoku's memories and voice still lives on in others and his will was literally reaching out to Tanjiro and Mitsuri to encourage them, it's very beautiful, whereas with Muzan once he dies, ALL demons will die, there is no legacy with him at all once he goes unlike us good ol' humans

I think this is the reason why gyomei couldn’t partake in the hashira training against the other hashira because his weapon can literally accidentally kill someone.

The special thing about Demon Slayer is the narative. Ubuyashiki speech to Muzan in this episode was so great. Also the eerie feeling in many episodes of Demon Slayer from season 1 to this scene where the two children singing an old song were executed really well. The music and visual are stunning as always.

19:50 so yea, althought ufotable is producing this anime... for this episode if you check the credits, there are 6 studios that were involved. among them 2 studios are well know for 2D/3D work which we call 2.5D. all the explosions, muzan's skull brain, blood demon seeds and thrones were all 3D structure that were later turned into 2D which we call it toon-shading. more or less, this episode was like a trail to see if they can work together on it for coming project. and the response from screening was too good. so the same studio artist that worked for this episode would be working for the 3 movies arc.

Meteor hammer or just meteor. A morning star is just a spiked ball on a stick, basically a mace. The Japanese equivalent would be the Kusarigama, but a real one would have a much smaller ball on the end.

Remembering Kaigaku or Asakusa Demon from the first season is a very rare thing for reactors but not this.
Too bad Nakime was going able to find around 60% of the demon slayers. So about 40% of the demon slayer core is still untouched.

Meteor hammer or just meteor. A morning star is just a spiked ball on a stick, basically a mace. The Japanese equivalent would be the Kusarigama, but a real one would have a much smaller ball on the end.
@@SuperSayinSolidSnek my information is that it can be a pole or a chain with a handle although not typically that long. im sure its a japanese specific configuration but i would still prefer morning star over meteor hammer personally. its basically the same thing. a morning star could easily be a meteor in the sky. spiky ball is the important bit for me.
@@willwilliamson9580 The distinction isnt the spiked ball but how its connected. If its directly connected to a handle or pole its a club/morning star. If its connected to a chain its a flail.
