I loved creating this kimono sleeve pattern tutorial for you! I'll be adding a new video on Tuesday showing how I made a kimono style pattern for me, and then Thursday you'll see how that garment came out. Excited? I am! Let me know what pattern making tutorial you'd like to see from me next in the comments below so I can crack on with creating more!

Hi! Thanks a lot for such a great video ! Do you explain where to add a gusset ? I already drafted my kimono top, but I need to add a gusset to have more freedom of movement. Thanks in advance ! Kindest regards

I made this style too, but when i rise my hand, it doesnt feel comfort, is it right?

Yes. The amount of ease you have to raise your arms will depend on how much fabric there is to allow that movement to happen.

Do you do pattern hacking? Am trying to change skirt width from A line on a dress pattern to a straight/ pencil width and join to the bodice.
