I'm with Kev' on the mackerel wrap thing.....treachery with a smile on its face and a justified profanity used 😀! Magnificent trip that mate. My uncle bought me a book when I was a teenager called 'Wild Walks' and I remember drooling over a Flowerdale Forest walk in it. Always fancied Baosbheinn, just because I've seen it called 'the wizard's mountain'......really sounds quite alluring. 😎 👍

Fantastic Robin. I was up top on Beinn Alligin last October (2020) when my wife phoned me to say she was in hospital. I had climbed over the Horns in the dark hoping for a good sunrise and photos but the weather was... meh. Rushed down via the Tom, drove 8 hours home to Erskine and 4 weeks and a few ops later she got out. Mountain memories :-)

We did Beinn Dearg in JUNE 2007 and were waiting to see if it would turn into a Munro when they remeasured it later that year. Foinaven had the best chance, but nothing got promoted as far as I can recollect. VERY steep up it , would hate to do it with a camping pack, but you started this malarkey at about half the age I did, so are fitter than I ever was. .
