If hillary the moderate could not win, bernie did not stand a chance. republicans cleaned house and he is too far left. the few republicans that did vote blue would not have gone so far left. and he had no plans to implement his promises, to be fair, neither did trump, but the country would've expected that of Bernie.

The drastic changes that millennials were vicariously trying to live through him would've fallen flat on their face. I would say the same of trump, if the GOP and Senate weren't red, but they are, plus Merrick Garland is off the table for scotus, so trump's got carte blanche or pretty damn close.. hardly any checks and balances at this point.

Here is the 6 states that were so divisive that they changed the entire election because they couldn't figure out what they wanted (democrat percent to republican percent):
Florida: 48% to 49%, 29 electoral votes
Michigan: 47% to 48%, 16 electoral votes
Minnesota: 47% to 46%, 10 electoral votes
New Hampshire: 47% to 47%, 4 electoral votes
Pennsylvania: 48% to 49%, 20 electoral votes
Wisconsin: 47% to 48%, 10 electoral votes
That is 89 electoral votes that literally could have gone either way because they had no idea what they wanted. That is the most messed up part of this system. Regardless of who you voted, THIS is not a good thing when 1% is the deciding factor of the election.

Biden has a bunch of reasons he will be better off than Clinton in 2016.
- Trump is incumbent, and so his flaws (authoritarian tendencies, foreign policy stumbles, etc.) show. This reduces the chance people will stay home.
- Biden has an image of someone with a lot of heart. Clinton's image wasn't as rosy.
- Harris as a VP could drive turnout, alongside a bunch of other things.
- George Floyd has made systemic racism an issue.
- Democrats swept the house in 2018.
- COVID makes Trump look bad (for good reason), and compounds the economic damage of the trade wars.

Hillary won the popular vote, the electoral college went to trump and so does the presidency. If you dont know how American elections work, each state is assigned a number of delegates and the voters decide which candidate wins THAT STATE and they are awarded the electoral votes. this happened in 2000 also, when Al Gore received a higher total of votes but did not win the electoral college

I hate Trump, but I hated Hillary more because the Clinton administration allowed the creation of Kosovo which destabilized the Balkans (even more than they are) which will eventually result in the creation of Large Albania. Bernie only recently became a millionaire following the success of his book, and he has been in politics for decades. In spite of this fact, his net worth is still among the lowest in The Senate. If you can't trust Sanders, you can't trust anybody. In fact, if the DNC hadn't screwed him over, Bernie would be living in his fourth home (aka The White House).
Lewis 970 one of his homes is his DC one (it’s really just a townhouse) for when he’s working in Congress. The other one is the one he’s had for decades(simple home on the side of a busy street in VT) and a lakeside cabin in which was passed down to his wife. Also, why do you say he’s a socialist? He advocates for strong social programs. That doesn’t mean he believes in pure 100% socialism in every aspect of living. You think Australia and Denmark are socialist/communist countries? I'm not American. I don't live in America. I find trump to be an idiot and it's outrageous that he even got to run in the first place. With that being said, i LOVE how everyone was crying when he got elected. It was fantastic. And now we might get it again. Good times
