Rony Seikaly scores a season high 31 points, grabs 11 boards, collect 4 assists, and register 3 blocks in one of the best games of his life from the free throw line. Seikaly was superb for Golden State the entire night, providing scoring from the low post (Minnesota never forced him left, which is something you should pick up when watching this) and drilling the first 13 free throw attempts of the game. Seikaly shot 9 for 11, and 13 for 15 from the line in an OT win.
Rony Seikaly was born in Beruit, Lebanon, where he lived until he was 10 years old. His family moved to the US, and he attended a boarding school in Massachusetts. At age 14, his family moved again, this time to Athens, Greece, where he spent the rest of his adolescence. He attended an American-style school in Athens, where he picked up basketball, volleyball, soccer (football there), track and field events, and DJing. The guy was a natural born athlete that grew to almost 7 foot. After attending the American school in Greece, and beginning to play for Panathinaikos, Seikaly returned to the US to attend Syracuse, where his number 4 today is retired by the University.
