This is a beautiful review in many ways. You and I both like the same wood type the "Spalted Timber" which is wonderfully unique even among other Spalted pieces. As always a well done review and a pleasure to watch.

Bolivian Rosewood is my favorite offering by Wyrmwood. I think this is the wood I will choose for this most resent dice Kickstarter. I believe you said the Spalted Timber was your favorite and I don’t blame you. The variation in the wood is simply spectacular. Awesome review!

My favorite wood is birds eye maple, my Dad and I used to look for it when we went antiquing.
Yours was spalted tamarind/timber which I love for gaming, it’s very spooky and unique.

Spalted wood is gorgeous and unique. It's a marvelous choice and certainly my favorite, too! I love Wrymwood's products and team. They have some adorable pins at conventions, too.
Of the woods that Wyrmwood offers I would have to say that Black Poison wood is my favourite.I love how its got some red and black hues to it. Such a fantastic looking wood!
I actually don't have black poison wood in my collection! Ill need to pick it up!

Underated channel so sick
I bought 4 Bolivian Rosewood component trays and while they were admittedly expensive, I was very happy with my purchase. One of them even came in a darker shade and Wyrmwood replaced that piece for me with one that was of the same color as the other 3 so their craftsman guarantee is legit. One day I'd like to get a dice tower or tray.
Another interesting review. I am enjoying the new programming. I like Mahogany wood. Mr. Gentleman Wake's favorite wood is Spalted Timber (fungus damaged wood).
The Spalted Timber is definitely unique, but my personal favorite is the Purple Heart 💜

Some of my favorite woods Wyrmwood has used are Bocote, Flame Box Elder, Kingswood, and Tulipwood.

@@TheGentlemanWake Oh no I have no doubt you were being honest about all of it just remarking more about the style of the review than anything. Comprehensive in what they offer but not terribly critical nor showcasing how the different pieces they sell go together for better or worse in a mechanical way. And I have no doubt they do good work and you certainly know your way around a camera and editing software. I'm excited to see what else you've reviewed outside of RPG stuff.
The Black Poisonwood is awesome! Not only in name but in color too!
I like BoRo and Spalted Timber, which is your favorite. I wish they would bring back adding on inlays to the vaults, would love to have an inlay on the dice tower! It would have been good to have shown the master vault fitting into the rolling compartment of the tabletop dice tray like the regular dice vault fits into the upper compartment.
My favorite variety of wood is the Black Wallnut !!!!!

Personal Preference - I really like the Bolivian Rosewood, beautiful colors and looks to have a very smooth finish!
Wake's Preference - Spalted Timber, really awesome designs and textures that seems to be the most unique in that respect compared to the rest of the available, standard, wood types

Spalted has some wild variations and i really like it too! Lacewood is prob my fav though, because of it’s warm tone and patterns.
The rosewood is really pretty. I wish I could get that rolling tray/master vault combo.. looks like I am going to be saving up some money:p
I like wood in general over alternative materials, but I like the rosewood the best for its character. I got several Wyrmwood boxes in a Kickstarter several years ago and they're very nice.

I agree that spalted timber is stunning and always makes a statement! I don’t know if Wyrmwood ever offered it but I love Bubinga, iridescent like dragons hoard.

You have good taste! I was also going to say Spalted Tamarind/Timber. I was actually looking at their ST dice towers the other day, but it looks like they are all sold out for now. Fingers cross they can bring them back in stock soon.
Black Walnut is such a classic for me. It has the best color for my aesthetic.

While Spalted Tamarind and other spalted varieties are beautiful (you have excellent taste!), my heart lies with Bolivian Rosewood. It's so smooth, and the color is so rich its just a joy to use.
My favorite bass guitar is made in spalted ash. I also love mahogany. Spalted woods really are the best.
I think the Spalted looks awesome, but I am really intrigued by the Bolivian Rosewood- I need to smell it!

Music is distracting... Don't know if it's the volume or what. I find myself listening to the music instead of your words from time to time.
As someone who has one of everything Wyrmwood offers but the draft pencil and certain insert options. I agree with what you say. But I'm a big fan of the Hex system. The ones I use the most are the personal tray, Mastervault, tower, and hex vaults. My party uses the tabletop tray, but it's just not as nice as the personal tray if you're selfish like me. Personally my favorite wood is Poisonwood. Followed by Ziricote, which of course is the lame thing. But my favorite move is hex vault RTD with puns. Such as "Hex gon' Give it to Ya" "I'm Bringing Hexy Back" "Blood Sugar Hex Magik" and "OOOOOH I wanna hex you up"
A few years ago I bought a hand-turned mechanical pencil made of purpleheart, similar to the one Wyrmwood sells. The color is one of the most interesting I've ever seen in a hardwood. Their collection looks amazing. Very fine work on display.

My man wormwood is not good try dogmight games for Superior D&D wooden products not only are they not cookie cutter they make custom stuff and they don't use plywood also unlike wyrmwood they have much better customer service. Wormwood is like Apple you're getting cookie cutter brand recognition nothing more for true craftsmanship only dog might games I mean even critical role switch to dog might because they know what's up
