Decent solution. Might not have that "spatious clean look" but it sure tidies everything up nicely.

Sweet! Enjoy and thanks for watching! One note… the hole for the battery bolt is larger than the bolt itself. That turns out to be a good thing so you can move the busbar outward (from the center) to eliminate any contact between the positive busbar and the battery strap.

Nice work Alan. Keep us posted on how it goes.

Hello old man! Biting off the ring heads and clamping is not the best idea. . If it came to that radically, I would buy a moisture-proof contactor and just put the necessary wires into it. And you forgot to treat it with silicone or varnish . They will oxidize.

Hey there! I am just evaluating it to see if the whole thing will loosen up. The screws have star washers on them, so even the clipped terminals should stay tight. Thanks for the comment!

Allen, Where are the 4 circuits on the positive terminal fused at?

Hi Mark - they all have inline fuses.

@@Uraljunkie I thought so but wanted to make sure.

Right now I’m trying to figure out what is going on with my dealer installed side car aux lights. The circuit seems fine so I think it’s the handlebar switch. I’m also going to install a spotlight.

Good luck with the switch. Let me know how the spotlight goes… I have always thought about one too…

@@Uraljunkie I bought some military grade spotlights from eBay. They have strong magnetic bases and are a fraction of the cost for the Ural factory ones. You can always upgrade the bulbs

Nice idea, mate. I've just wired in a dual battery system on our 2011 Tourist. I was thinking there are too many wires terminating on the battery, and this might be what I'm looking for.

Seems to be working fine. A lot easier taking out and putting back in the battery too.

@@Uraljunkie Certainly does look easier, as well as tidier. I've located a supplier, but will have to wait a bit, as we're off on a road trip. (1,170 km each way = 730 miles each way).
