There was even a post where KD had to play a roll where he was not amplified in the offense to the same extent as DB; which would put him in the corner or at the wing so it would cause him to shoot those midrange twos or those three. I’ve been watching Kd since 2014 or 15 and the cracks started to show when he lost that 3-1 lead over GS and then joined them after that playoffs. After he joined GS, it was hard to even take those chips and his time there respectively serious.
Ain’t gone lie this is an L take. Wym he doesn’t shift the defense you need 5 people around him when he has the ball. Go see that series against Celtic, they were literally all over him, and it’s hard to get assist on teams were there are simply no ball movement. It’s not his fault. Teams like Nugget and Celtic and all those teams and the Heat have so much ball movement. And you can’t tell me KD hasn’t been providing like good defense the past 3 years and stuff averaging like 1.5 a game in that time period do matter.

LOW very clearly stated if you are going to be top 10 in this day and age, you need to be elite multi-faceted. I.e Joker being elite at scoring, assisting, rebounding. Giannis and Embid, elite at scoring and defence. Luka, SGA, scoring playmaking, etc.
KD is elite at one thing, and that is scoring, LOW does not think that's enough to earn him top 10 status.

Luka is not an elite defensive player and isn’t anywhere near as “efficient” and KD, in fact he just recently started playing better defense this series against the clippers. SGA is not an elite rebounder. There are holes we can point out in everybody’s game. KD is not terrible in any of those categories and still remains the one of the most if not the most efficient players in NBA history. You're right about everything you said but you have to realize why these media members talk the way they do. They don't watch the games and I'm sure a lot of them don't even enjoy basketball, they are narrative spinners and that's it for the most part. Sensationalism sells better than facts. Even the best players in the league HAVE to have other players on the team do their job. KD wasn’t the reason the Suns lost. So if someone thinks he’s top 5, I’m not trippin. In the right system, he will look top 5, no different than a Steph. But anyone in your top 5 won’t have any playoff success if the others don’t step up and do their job too. Look at Philly with Embiid. A top 5 player who can’t even get past the second round
