    I have just bought a brand new black Fiat 500X Firefly. It's beautiful and I have the front grill painted with the Tri colour. Have been driving Fiat for the past twenty years and they are great.

    Go kart is exactly what I think of the way it drives. After driving a Ford Escape for 10 yrs I find I'm turning way to much in the Fiat, ride is firm but not harsh. You don't feel bumps it dips and dives very different. Everything feels firm and solid. I get great gas mileage combined mid 30's I have 2.4

      @Knight Alderman When I said handles like a go cart did not mean it in a bad way. It is quick and very responsive. We own a sports car and enjoyed driving it but since we bought the Fiat found not driving it very much anymore. In short very fun to drive. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

    I just bought a 2021 and listed for 30,000 and bought it for $25,000 it's my six fiata my first was in 2011 and I traded the 2018 Fiat 500x that I just drove to Texas and back from Chicago no problem feel solid and planted at any speed. The turbo and the 19-inch rims give plenty of fun and in the rain or snow no problems about every 3 years I get a new one and I love it and my wife loves it too thanks 🧔

    First time watching your review. Awesome job with info & driving impressions. We own a 2019 500X Trekking Plus & love it. I wanted something different & not another box on wheels, but something that has character. To those downplaying this cuv, underneath the sheet metal is a Jeep Renegade. Needless to say, it won't be hard to find parts. Fiat isn't going anywhere soon Just to invested in Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram. Keep up the great work sir, you have yourself a new subscriber.

      I purchased a new 2018 Fiat 500 turbo a few years back. I've had nothing but issues. Currently burns oil like crazy and dealership won't help even though it's still under warranty. They just force me to change the oil every 2 months. Really sucks cause the car doesn't even have 20k miles.

    The Sport trim with optional 19" wheels and black roof definitely spruces this vehicle up. To those that state you can get 19 mpg with a Durango in city driving... Well, I can squeeze out 12.4 mpg in town with my 3.6 Grand Cherokee. Yet I do get 27 mpg reliability highway driving. It's funny, I can generally surpass the EPA ratings for highway on vehicles. But NEVER can meet their city ratings. 😉

    It is sporty for it's class and price. How many other small SUV's for the same price have 170hp under the hood with 9 speed gear with paddles. Think about that. The term sport doesn't necessarily mean it should be blazingly fast. Sport term is used to indicate that amongst the other trims of this model, this is the fastest and sport oriented one with nice sporty details.

    This needs a manual option to be properly appreciated. Huge fail on part of Fiat, and every other company for that matter. The HRV and CH-R should have a manual option too. Subaru Crosstrek it is.

    • @BoopSnoot
      @BoopSnoot 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It can't be offered, as the 1.4T no longer passes European emissions, and the 1.3T never had a manual developed for it. The 2.4 tigershark has a manual still, but its such a crappy engine IMO that it wouldn't be worth it even if available.

    Ah, Fiat. I really wanted to see them make it here. Unfortunately the size of the vehicles and reliability kept them from succeeding. I rented a 500 when they first came out and enjoyed it because it was so different. Of all their models, the X I think is their best effort, but it just doesn’t make sense against like priced crossovers. This would make a decent purchase as a year old pre-owner car after it takes its massive depreciation. Just get an extended warranty. 😏😏😏
