My ACC VR Video Setting files for SteamVR and OpenXR (see OpenXR Toolksit settings in video), for use with the Pimax Crystal (Max Render Qaulity). Tested with 4090 and AMD7800X3D. drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ASEdqlzWxaN83fTu6EsYLpGSDBeWT2HK Update: I've since discovered (thanks to Matt the OpenXR toolkit dev) if you have a G2 there is a SteamVR bug which limits the resolution to the G2, although it displays a higher resolution in the SteamVR settings, which explains 8:40 in this video. See Part 4 for a fix and just use OpenXR VR settings mentioned in this video for the Pimax Crystal and 4090.
Was about to ask your system specs. Interesting how the 7800x3d is bottlenecking the 4090! I'll have to give this a test with the 7950x3d see if its any different.
@gibilator AI races are more CPU intensive than multiplayer. It can be mitigated by reducing the opponent visibility further or just waiting for the cars to spread out. I don't believe the game scales with more than 8 cores, so I suspect it will be the same.
Yep understood @@HamVR ACC is not my cup of tea, but I will do some tests locking ACC to the 3dvCache cores and then without and see if I see any change and report back. The ability to lock out the system/obs and what not on the 7950x3d is where the benifits come from it. A real tinkerers' CPU but great for recording I've found!
Thanks for the video mate :) Appreciate you putting it up as there are very few Crystal / ACC optimization videos. But I was wondering, are you getting any "Fatal Error" crashes to desktop on your system ? I am running a stock 13900k/4090/Crystal.
Very interesting. Any chance you could do the same for AMS2. To get OpenXR running with my Crystal on AMS2, I have to open Steam first (not Steam VR) If I don't open steam I get an Error Box.
You have to replace the engine.ini file! This is a game changer for me. I have much better fps in all weather conditions and I have the 4090 as well the 7800x3d! It is ridiculous, that acc is now smoother than ams2. 😢
Thank you, I have the same hardware and used the same settings but still I only got 45-60fps max with lots of stuttering. Using your crystal file boosted it directly to 90fps. For AMS2 do you also use foveated rendering?
Not sure if you can help me...I have rendering set to maximum and when I go into steam VR it shows 3400x2760 , when I run FPSVR it shows the native rendering..but not in steam VR resolution?? I don't have windows mixed reality or HP reverb or any other apps for VR on my computer. Please and thank you
I’m following all the steps with F1 2022 with Open XR Tookit, Pimax XR and Open Composite not set to Steam VR. When I start the game, I get the performance stats on the screen and F1 2023 never opens. Any recommendations?
Hey man, great vid by the way, I followed ur guide using Open XR in ACC with my Crystal, and the uplift is excellent, only issue I’m havin is whenever I quit a race to change car etc.. the game freezes? Have you come across this issue??
Hey dude. No can't say I've had any freezes yet. I'm running Nvidia drivers from a couple of weeks ago (not the very latest release from 2 days ago). Maybe try running that version or the very latest if you haven't updated for a while.
Hi.Great video. Can you please do a set up with the standard AC please. Many thanks.

Hey, no I haven't had any fatal error crashes so far. Perhaps worth checking your CPU amd GPU temps and also running a system memory test.
@@HamVR I think my system is okay. I am an avid flight simmer and DCS and MSFS are really solid. Can I ask what nvidia driver version you are using?
Also do you find the main menu in ACC quite dark? Do you have any specific local dimming settings you use?

I was able to get AMS2 working with Crystal just fine in OpenXR mode. Launching from the Pimax tool and the Steam library both worked for me.
Hello, thank you for the explanation! Do you have a video or advice on adjusting Assetto Corsa with content manager?

Nice! Looks like 90 fps is possible in solo laps with good enough computer and settings. 😊
can you share your OBS settings please? I can't seem to dial in a good FOV using the Crystal
all game vr steam work with pimax crystal ?
Did you try F1 23 VR on the Crystal? Is it worth getting?

Also the Pimax public software and firmware updates yesterday so that could be another factor.
@@HamVR yes I think it maybe something to do with the new updates, cheers
Hi there I just got a Pimax Crystal. Having the same issue whenever I exit out of a race to go to the menu it freezes. Did you find a solution?
@@harrys8600 no mate, just updating openXR seemed to help, as I ain’t really notice it do it much lately,
Please can you do a Iracing video
Will do.. I might check that out this weekend 🤔
Not trying to be mean but a little bit hard to understand what you are saying. Thanks for the video tho
